He looked eager: “Sarah's great.”
I didn't care—after five years, shame was gone.
The night was chaos.

I dressed and went next door. Kimberly stared blankly at the TV.
The screen showed surveillance—Brandon and Sarah sleeping soundly.
Hearing me, she turned—eyes confused, pained.
I smiled: “Kim, saw everything, didn't you?”
I pretended to pity her: “On your wedding night, why did you cry?”
“Because it hurt!”

“Because you were scared!”
“Because you felt humiliated!”
She seemed to relive that night—trembling.
I whispered temptingly: “Because you're a woman. Only women feel that—men don't. Men always enjoy.”

“I know better than anyone—because I'm both.”
“Kim, don't you want to try?”
Kimberly stared blankly, then said: “Okay.”
Kimberly went abroad.
She said vacation, but only I knew the truth.
I moved out but kept seeing Brandon.
I sent photos and videos to Kimberly—“motivating” her through the painful surgery.
Brandon sighed: “If Kimberly weren't a Windsor, I'd marry you instead.”
I just smiled.
News of my return reached the Windsors.
William and his wife, Laura, came to see me.
In the hotel VIP room, William said excitedly: “Yung, when did you return? Why not contact me?”
“You disappeared—we looked everywhere! Kimberly and I were so worried!”
I asked curiously: “Oh? How did you look? Tell me.”
William froze.
My mom was the one who searched—alone, through streets and alleys, until she died in a car crash.
William knew Kimberly was involved but helped cover it up.
Laura said coldly: “Your mom called the police—even they couldn't find you. What could we do?”
William nudged her. Laura stayed quiet, but her eyes called me trash.
William sighed: “Let's not dwell on the past. Just glad you're back.”
“So… where were you all these years?”
He probed; even Laura tensed.
I smiled: “Met a benefactor. Been learning business with him.”
I emphasized “benefactor.” Both looked uncomfortable.
William, however, was undeterred. “Yung, you and Kimberly were like sisters. You often stayed with us—we treated you like our own.”
“Now you're back… how about I adopt you as my goddaughter?”
So that was the plan.
From my research, Windsor Corp was in trouble. The Harrison alliance helped briefly, but not enough.
And Brandon and Kimberly's relationship wasn't strong enough for full support.
If Windsor went bankrupt, Harrison might even take over.
I stated directly: “No thanks. I might get sold again.”
William turned pale: “Yung! Don't say such things!”
I smiled: “Just joking.”
William and Laura left in a huff.
Watching their backs, I felt cold.
They reminded me—besides Kimberly, they wouldn't get off easy.
