I've waited for this moment for a very long time.Very, very long time.I watched the leech stare at me in amazement for a while. Ah, he hasn't seen me before. He was too focused on hurting Leila to notice my growing presence in her mind.'Leila, it's almost like you have been preparing yourself for me. You finally woke your wolf huh? She's stunning."His beady eyes shone with pure greed. The air was filled with the putrid stench of his malicious intensions.


'Not much of a talker?"I ignored his rambling to focus on his wolf. I could tell there was something wrong with it. He hadn't responded to my presence in any way but I could feel his. I even saw him a few moments ago as he fought, so I knew he was in there.'I can feel your excitement, don't worry. I'll give you want you want then, I'll take what I want."Chuckling, I began to pace.

So close to getting my pound of flesh and my patience was ready to snap. I tuned out the background noise and the sound of what seemed like Ganymede dying.‘We haven't done this before, so don't get too cocky. Antonio is a fool but a crafty one.' Leila cautioned as she relaxed in the back of my mind.

‘Don't patronize me.'‘I would never,' she had a mischievous smile on her face all the while she spoke. ‘I'm just returning the favor.'Cheeky bitch.Antonio was growing irritated with my lack of response to whatever he was spewing.Good. Once your opponent gets rilled up they are bound to make mistakes.'Your human didn't tell you what happens when you ignore me did she? I guess a demonstration is in order."Finally, Antonio shifted.


I watched his body twist and bend, resisting the urge to finish him off in this few minutes of vulnerability. But, that was just crude and I won't lower myself to such levels when Antonio didn't do that. Besides, it will make the fight very anticlimactic and unsatisfactory.

His wolf was unfortunately more impressive up close, thick voluptuous black fur covered his toned muscles and his towering height was impressive. But, I just saw him standing opposite Xander, who was the image of perfection.


His limp was almost non-existent by now.'Come at me," He snared.'Gladly."I lunged at him, catching him by surprise. Taking advantage of it, I latched on his throat, burying my teeth into it hard.Growling, Antonio managed to push me off but I already had the copper taste of his blood on my tongue.He circled me, looking for a weak spot but this tightly wound up body of mine had no relaxed area.

Snarling with impatience, he tackled me. Swiping his claws at me and trying to sink his razor sharp teeth in my body. I repaid him in kinda, keeping myself in the offensive because the moment I slacked off, death won't be so far.Antonio took a last swipe aimed at my left forelimb, I jumped back, slashing his stout in the process. Antonio rubbed his stout but kept his eyes on me.

Without warning, I lunged at him the moment his paw hit the ground. My jaws wide open in a deadly snap, he dodged the attack in the last second but not before I saw the look of terror in his eyes. He tackled me, leading us into a deadly tumble filled with bites and slashes.

I shook his large body off mine, putting some distance between us. There were injures on my body but nothing major and no limp. Antonio was worse, his limp had returned.There was still something wrong with his wolf and I was still trying to identify it.'You're strong, I'll give you that. But, this fight has dragged on for too long. It's time to give me what I'm owed," Antonio growled.I hissed and feinted to the right then suddenly darted to the right, my teeth snapping and aiming for his throat. Growling, Antonio got away with only a nip.'Enough!!" He growled loudly. So loud that I heard birds and smaller animals scramble away.Then, he started shifting.

'What is going on?" Hera asked through the link, sounding confused.'Antonio's wolf is shifting into something." Xander asked.

'Blood sorcery…" Hera whispered. Her shock was obvious in her tone.If Hera was surprised, then…His howls sounded so painful that my hackles rose, it pulled me out of my thoughts. Our soldiers around shifted into their wolves from the discomfort. I sensed Hala move closer. Whatever Antonio was shifting to, it was in unnatural and it was sending out waves of unease in large quantities.‘If this is something you can do, I suggest that you never attempt it.' Leila murmured, sounding uncomfortable.‘Thank the goddess that no normal wolf can do this.'‘I don't think he will be in good shape to fight after this. It looks so painful.'

With the amount of whimpering and howling that Antonio's wolf was doing, I don't think it was a painless process. I almost wanted to kill him now to end my suffering but I wasn't sure what I was dealing with.More importantly, I was deriving great pleasure in his obvious suffering.Suddenly, an eerie silence filled the opening. The surrounding forest was also silent, like every animal around was holding their breath in terror.

Antonio's wolf slowly rose from the floor.‘Goddess!' Leila exclaimed.I felt Xander and my pack members shift closer, their instincts urging them to protect me from the monster that stood before me.Antonio's fur looked like it was dyed in blood, the energy coming from him was disturbed and not harmonized as it should be. Finally Antonio, he looked like he was supposed to be a twin or more but something happened.He had grown in size and height, an extra head that had four eyes each and his limbs. Goddess his limbs were sixteen in number, there was no order in the way they were arranged but they worked and held his huge frame up.

In unison, his mouths split into very wide ones which seemed unnatural and as he smiled, revealing longer teeth. No, they were all fangs. Rows of fangs.He was terrifying.'Kneel," he ordered.

I almost buckled under the weight of the pheromones he was releasing.‘Don't you dare Lea,' Leila hissed, instantly clearing my head from the horror that had sneakily grabbed my mind.‘Then, I'm borrowing your powers.'‘Take as much as you need but don't let that bastard grab you with his filthy mouth or mouths.'She didn't have to say it aloud. If Antonio managed to bite me, I was dead. I ignored the fear as Leila was putting a tight lead on.‘Sure.''You'll have to do more than that to get me to submit," I replied and called up Leila's powers.

Antonio chuckled like the crazed maniac he was, 'I will enjoy breaking you."I lunged at him, noticing briefly that I was glowing.'Beautiful," Antonio said as we clashed. 'I want to see how you will look once this glow is stained with your blood."His giant paw swiped at my side but I leapt back quickly so his claws didn't sink too deep.

'I wonder, will you still glow as you bleed out or does your blood glow?" His left head tried to take a bite of my right hind limb.'I wonder how much noise you will make with a missing jaw!" Calling down lightning, I directed it to his right snout and jumped back.The air was filled with his pained howl and it was really loud.'I guess a missing mouth won't shut you up."Antonio looked worse with his jaw dangling from his left face and blood pouring to the floor.

'You fucking bitch!"'Unlike what you and your dead sorcerer think, I'm actually a sophisticated lady. I don't just like trash."Staring straight into my eyes, Antonio cut off his hanging jaw without flinching.Leila snickered, ‘I guess he grew more balls.'I held back my chuckled, ‘Terrible timing Leila.'‘I couldn't help myself.'Antonio lunged at me, I met him halfway.'I agree with you Antonio, let's end this."

It is weird how we don't smell that different from the meat we eat when roasted.‘Your thoughts are creeping me out,' Leila had a disgusted look on her face.I snickered and stared at Antonio. He wasn't dead yet, his heart was still beating but he couldn't move. Not anymore.His flesh had separated from most of his body at one point, exposing his tissues and organs. There was a glimpse of bone somewhere.

'Can you say any last words?"His whimper was almost non-existent. He moaned as he shifted back to his original form as a wolf.Turning away from his pitiful figure, I limped towards my pack. My members that had all lowered their head except for Hala.I could feel him proud and relieved through the bond.'You don't have to do that," I said to my pack.They listened and straightened, Hala nuzzled his stout into my neck the moment he was by my side. Pleased, I bared my neck in submission and let him fuss over me.'You did well baby," he licked a cut that had barely missed my right eye while I shivered.The rage coming from him pleased me.'You didn't kill him?"

'No." I turned bringing his attention to another injury. Luckily, Antonio hadn't cut off my ears but the injuries were nasty.'I had a feeling that you might want to deal the finishing blow."'Thoughtful as always baby."I glowed under his praise.'I'll be quick. You need to be pampered properly."Moments later, I listened to Antonio's final heart beat.
