'You'll start applying this tomorrow so I can monitor your progress daily." Xander announced once we were done with eating.

No one had said anything while I ate and after watching me for a while, they began to eat their own meal.

'Do you feel like eating more?" Xander asked while Liam arranged the plates.

'No, I'm okay."

I felt the blush spread on my face.

'Why's your face red like that?" I could hear the amusement in his voice.

'Heat."

He laughed, 'but now that you know that Lucian is your mate and he wants you, what will you do with him?"

'What?...oh"

Liam doesn't know that my wolf can't sense her mate.

'I don't know if Lucian is my true mate or not."

'What does that mean?"

'The connection between my wolf and I is very weak. I can't sense my mate or transform."

'Are you guys done?" Xander asked looking at both of us.

My jaw dropped and Liam stared at him dumbfounded.

Xander laughed, patting my head, ' No, your faces are just expressive."

'Really?" inquired Liam.

'Yep."

'You were?" both of us asked, I was more surprised than my brother.

'Can you do it now?" Liam asked the question for me.

I watched as Xander became angry, his voice was still calm when he spoke but I knew he was just controlling himself.
