**LEILA**
The darkness that filled the whole place was the exact kind of silence and peace that I wanted. I could see all of them but they couldn't see me as they groped around in the dark.
They couldn't see me and I loved it.
I was the ruler in this particular game and even Lucian had no control over me.
"Leila, I know you're the one that is doing this and I warn you to stop it as soon as you can." I heard Lucian yell and footsteps approaching but it seemed like he bumped into something that made him fall immediately.
"Now is one of the times when I thank the stars for making me unable to control whatever powers that is inside of me. This is one of the time when I'm glad for that, else I would have listened to you and stop the darkness but now, no! Go to sleep." I said and bursted out laughing as I carefully got out of the dungeon like place that they were taking me to.
"Leila, I said make it stop!" Lucian yelled blindly and I broke out in laughter.
"How do I make it stop when I don't know how?" I questioned while wreaking in laughter as I watched their amused faces.
"Look for a way, there's no how you don't know anything." He yelled as he tried to get back to his feet but it was too late for him because he went directly face on to the wall, bumping his head into it and fell back down. If that area of his head doesn't swell, then I'd know its because of his ability to heal quicker than any other rank of werewolf.
He was an Alpha!
But the question that wasn't quite settled in my heart is why his father handed over so early.
From the look of things, Lucian's father would be in his early fifties while Lucian would be in his late twenties so why would a man who was still capable and fit to rule his kingdom hand it over to a boy who hadn't even found his Luna at the time of his enthronement?
It was all shady and no matter how much I tried to push it to the back of my head, it kept disturbing me over and over again.
As I walked past them, the look of horror and fear in their eyes was unfathomable and some of them yelped at the sound of someone approaching because due to the darkness, everywhere was as silent as a graveyard.
"Who's there?" Some of them whispered as I passed by while some shrieked due to the fact that the only light they could see was a pair of eyes beaming brightly like some form of electricity had been used to light it up.
I paid no heed to them as I made my way outside. My initial thought was that darkness was only inside of the pack house but as I got to the front door and opened it, the same scenario was unfolding.
Everyone was still as bewilderment filled the air and the atmosphere became creepy even for me that was exuding it.
It was like I got pulled into a big time horror movie.
I have to look for my brother, he was one of the warriors so the only clue that came to my head was going in the midst of the people that were defending Lucian's pack.
They were easy to find and I passed through them been very careful so none of them would know.
Though as I passed, I heard a few of them mutter that they were seeing some flash of light and a spirit had passed by them.
I'm now a spirit!! *chuckles*
"Where are you?" I asked through our bond and Liam sighed in my head.
"I should be asking you that because I'm out here defending Lucian's pack though it seems the moon goddess doesn't want this fight and bestowed us with darkness." Liam stated and began chuckling, a very contagious chuckle that transformed to a heartfelt laughter.
"This isn't the moon goddess, this is coming from me." I said and an abrupt pause ensued between us.
"Where are you? I'll explain when I see you." I stated and he snickered playfully in my head.
"How can you find me when there's darkness every where?" He questioned and I just rubbed my forehead in frustration before I spotted him leaning on a pillar.
"Like I said doubtful brother, this is coming from me. Just remain where you are, I've seen you and I'm coming towards you're direction." I said and from where I was, I could see him darting and twirling in search of me when he couldn't see his own feet.
"Hello brother." I said and tapped his shoulder.
He jumped and swerved only to yelp when he saw my eyes that were sparkling and beaming with brightness.
"No...Don't tell me you're the one with the electrifying eyeballs?" He said peeping to see if he could see anything other than my eyes but couldn't.
"Damn! I can't believe I'm experiencing magic in broad daylight or is it broad dark night because what the actual hell!" He said with a bemused expression.
"This isn't something that you should joke about, anyways; how do I make the daylight come up again?" I asked and because he knew that I could see his expression in the daylight, he just stared at me strangely.
"Are you seriously asking me that? What am I? Husband to the moon goddess? and that is if she has a husband. The moon god?" He asked and bursted in laughter.
"Liam, why the hell are you laughing?" We heard a male's voice question drawing us back to the reality that even if we were laughing like two idiots, the outside world could still hear even if they couldn't see.
"Come with me." I whispered holding his hand so he doesn't bump into someone or something.
"How are you able to digest the fact that I'm the one that brought darkness down? I'm barely trying to understand it" I asked still holding his hand but we had walked back to the entrance of the forest where he was training me earlier.
"Wait a minute, you think that I'm able to digest it? No bae, I'm not able to digest it; I'm laughing like a maniac because I feel like you're playing with my mental health? You think its funny that the only thing I can see is your eyes? That's so scary like hell." He commented and I smiled.
Of course, he should be scared. Any sane person should be scared. I was even scared at myself at this point but the thing that hung at the back of my head was how the hell I was going to lift the darkness?
What would happen if I find a way to lift the darkness?
