Hades POV

I sat in my office, and stared at the computer screen, but my mind was not here and I couldn't focus, and I couldn't work.

My thoughts were with Jane and I kept thinking about last night, the way she kissed me and the way she said she wanted me. It all felt like a dream.

But it wasn't a dream, It really happened. Jane gave herself to me, it was willingly and we had a sweet romantic sex.

I tried to type a report, but I only typed her name. "Jane." I shook my head and smiled. What have you done to me, Jane?

I felt like a schoolboy in love for the first time. I have never felt like this before, not with anyone.

Every day now, I go to her house in the morning and I bring flowers, and fruit. I hugged her gently and she always welcomed me with a warm smile.

Sometimes she asked me to stay longer. And sometimes she kissed me before I left for work.

Every evening, I took her out on a romantic date and we would visit quiet restaurants, candlelit places where the world disappeared.

She always held my hand across the table. She stared into my eyes like I was her whole world and I knew I felt the same.

After dinner, we would go for a long walk. She would laugh at my silly jokes and he talked about our unborn child.

Her eyes shone whenever she talked about the baby and sometimes, she rested her head on my shoulder as we walked.

Sometimes, she stopped and kissed me, slowly and deeply. It always felt like magic.

We have started making beautiful memories together and we took pictures and we talked about names for the baby.

We even decorated the baby's room together and she painted one wall light yellow and asked me to hang little stars and moons. I felt proud, like a father already.

Now, I slept over at her house most nights. We lay in bed, close to each other.

Sometimes we talk for hours and sometimes, we just hold each other in silence. She put her hand on my chest and listened to my heartbeat. She said it calms her.

One evening, I planned something special. I knew it was time and I wanted to ask her again, properly. I wanted to ask her to be my lover. Not just the mother of my child. Not just someone I co-parent with. But someone I could spend my life with. She already has my heart.

I booked a private place in a quiet garden with fairy lights, soft music, and a candlelit dinner for two. I ordered all her favorite dishes and I chose her favorite flowers. I even got a soft blanket in case she felt cold.

When Jane arrived, she looked so beautiful. She wore a soft pink dress, and her baby bump was now showing more. She looked like an angel. My angel.

"What is all this, Hades?" she asked with a soft smile.

"A little surprise," I said.

We sat, ate, and laughed. I held her hand and kissed it gently and her eyes shone in the light. I stood up and walked around the table, and knelt down beside her.

Her eyes widened. "Hades? What are you doing?"

I took her hand. "Jane, I love you. You have changed me. You haveMade me a better man. I want to be yours, truly. Will you be my lover?"

She stared at me, silent for a moment and then she smiled, I mean a deep, loving smile. "Yes, Hades. Yes. I can see you mean it and I love you too."

I felt like my heart would explode, so I stood and hugged her tightly. She rested her head on my shoulder and whispered,

"Thank you for giving me a second chance."

That night, we didn't sleep apart. We lay in bed, holding each other, whispering dreams about the future and we talked about the baby, we talked about a home, a family and we talked about love.

I closed my eyes and silently promised myself I will never let her go again.

Jane POV

I woke up early today, the sun was not fully out yet, but I was already sitting up in bed. My heart was beating fast.

Today was the day Hades took me to meet his family. I didn't know what to expect. I want them to like me, but I knew it might not be easy.

I walked to the bathroom, washed my face, and stared at myself in the mirror. My stomach was round now. there was no hiding it anymore. I rubbed it slowly, talking softly to the baby inside me.

'Today we meet your parents," I whispered with a small smile. 'Let's hope they like us."

When I walked back into the room, Hades was already dressed. He wore a sharp black suit, a white shirt, and a dark blue tie. He looked like a man going to sign a million-dollar deal. So handsome and so serious.

He turned around and saw me. His eyes soften. 'You look worried," he said walking up to me.

'I am," I said honestly. 'What if they don't like me?"

He cupped my cheek and smiled gently. 'They will. You are carrying their grandchild. You are the woman I love."

Those words calmed me a little and I took a deep breath and went to pick out my clothes.

I chose a long, soft blue dress. It hugged my stomach, but was too tightly. It made me look graceful and calm.

I fixed my hair neatly and wore light makeup. I wanted to look beautiful, but not too much. I wanted to look like a woman who was strong, peaceful, and respectful.

When I walked out, Hades smiled. 'Wow," he said. 'You look perfect."

'Thank you," I said with a small blush.

He picked up two gift bags. One was a box of fine tea for his mother, with a small gold bracelet inside. The other was an old red wine for his father. 'They like thoughtful gifts," he said.

We walked to the car together and he opened the door for me, and I sat in. My hands rested on my belly the whole time as we drove. I looked out the window and tried to stay calm. The roads passed quickly, but my mind was slow. It kept thinking:

'Will they judge me because of my past? Will they think I trapped their son? What if they are cold to me?*

Hades held my hand as he drove. His thumb rubbed the back of my hand slowly.

'You don't have to say much," he said 'Just be yourself. I will handle everything."

I nodded, but the worry was still inside me.

We reached a large, gated house. It looked expensive, old, and grand, it was like a place full of tradition and power. A guard opened the gate and the car rolled into a clean driveway.

We got out and I took another deep breath. Hades touched my shoulder.

'Ready?" he asked

'I think so," I whispered.

'Don't be scared," he said. 'We will do this together."

We walk toward the front door. My heart was beating faster now. I smoothed down my dress, lifted my chin, and put on a calm smile.
