Jane's POV

My fist clenched as I take a look at my pictures of my vulnerable moment on the internet. ‘This is not good.' i grunted with displeasure and I decided to look for the name of the blogger who did it.

‘It must definitely be from a person that hate me.' I spotted the name… ‘Emily Dias…'

I hissed inaudibly knowing fully well that she had always been on my tail for a long time. I put a call across to her number publicly displayed on her blog.

'Hello." She said with a warm smile after picking up the call. She had thought it was a friend or a person that wanted to do business.

'This is Jane, the lady you published her news on your blog. I want that news removed with immediate effect. Do you understand?" My voice was rigid and harsh.

'And why would I do that? It's not a false information." She indicated, trying to stay within her right.

Her words only got on my nerves. 'You took my pictures without my permission. Do you know I can get you arrested?" I threatened. My voice laced my venom.

'I will remove it." She replied to me and angrily ended the call.

I sighed inaudibly. And I glanced through the window, I saw I had gotten to my company. The driver stopped the car and I stepped out of it.

Walking elegantly towards the company, Ray sighted me and he walked up to meet me.

'Miss Jane, good morning." He greeted me with an elegant smile on his face. I wondered what was good about the morning that made him excited.

I shot a deadly glare at him. 'What do you want?" I snapped at him fiercely. Holding up to what he did the last time.

He scoffed softly and clutched forward, becoming tightly close to me. 'Are we enemies now?" He asked, his eyes filled with intentions and his voice strictly venomous.

I sucked my tongue and raised my gaze. 'I do not have the time for this. Step aside." I spoke with an imposing aura. And when he stood rigidly before me without acknowledging the word that crawled out of my lips.

I pushed him aside fiercely, not minding if the force was too hard on him. But he maintained a level of composure, having a bright smile cover his face. I walked into the company and my secretary showed up beside me.

'Good morning, ma'am." She greeted me, collecting the bag I held.

'What do I have today?" I asked her.

'You have a meeting with Mr Russel, CEO, X foundations and you also have a meeting with Mr Gilbert, CEO Hash foundation. Mr Francis wants to have a one on one discussion with you in a private hotel. Should I accept his offer or decline?" She detailed.

I puffed out some breath from my lips looking at the workload I have for the day. 'Okay. Accept his offer." ‘I need to speak some sense to him.' My heart moulded harshly.

'Okay, I will do that. There is bad news you might want to hear."

Hearing that, I halted my movements and glared at her face. 'Why didn't you start with that?" I asked her.

'I am sorry. So, you went to the bar yesterday and got drunk. The news of how you recklessly vomited is circulating." She informed me.

I was taken aback while my face shrank. Looking at her disbelief, she grabbed her phone and showed it to me.

'This is the news and it currently has three million views with over two hundred thousand likes and over hundred thousand comments." She detailed.

I grabbed the phone from her just to look at who did it. To my surprise, it was another blogger's and when I checked the time it was posted. I realized it was after I called Emily to cold her.

I knew she must have been the one who circulated it. 'Emily is getting on my nerves." I grunted with anger, thinking of what to do.

'Should we shut down the blog and all other channels with the news?" My secretary asked.

'Gosh, I will have to do it. I don't have a choice. Because this is going to affect my company negatively." I spoke with displeasure, because I was trying the best I could to avoid that drastic measure.

'Okay, ma. I will inform the management right away." My secretary gave me her word before leaving my office.

So, the viral video wasn't something to be worried about anymore. I sat on the chair and clutched backwards. I opened my drawer and brought out my laptop just to start Data entry.

My laptop finished booting and there was a pop up message… 'You've been hacked by The Anonymous group." My system went blank afterwards and I couldn't access it anymore.

'What is this?" I stared at my laptop in disbelief until it started hitting me deeply that my security had been compromised.

I heard a knock from my door. I raised my head, 'come in!" I said and when the person walked in, I realized he was the cyber security expert I hired.

'Thank God you are here. I was about to call you. What is happening to my laptop?" I asked with a shrink on my face.

'That is the reason I am here. The company's data has been compromised. You will have to be patient as we resolve it." He explained.

I was shocked. 'How did this happen?" I asked him.

'I do not know either. It seems the hacker has the company's information which enabled him to gain access. We are trying everything within our power to get back our servers." He detailed further.

That reminded me of the thief who had stolen the data of the company some days back. ‘This is not good.' My eyes widened.

'I will have to go now." He said and left my office at once.

Just as I relaxed to think about the person who could be behind all these, my mind wouldn't stop bringing up Ray, my cousin. ‘Could he actually be the one behind this?'
