We all reached the hall where the elders are waiting and as soon as I went down my mother came near me

"What is the decision Aru," she asked me and before I could answer here comes again my idiot Atharv who always irritates me with his idiotic dialogues


"Mom you are free from now because this stupid will go from here after getting married with Aadiv" he said and if he would have spoken loudly then today, I would have died out of embarrassment.

"Are you sure princess??" Asked my father with concern, I smiled and nodded my head. My parents hugged me happily, I have never seen my parents this much happy.

"It's yes from our side" announced my dad and then nyonika aunty also turned towards us happily


"It's yes from us too" she spoke and Eshana ran towards me to hug me

"So, from now my best friend is my sister in law" she jumped in joy and I smiled seeing her excitement.


"So, the match is final so when we will keep roka (ritual before engagement where the news will be official) and all" asked aunty with more excitement and then the elders were deciding about the dates. Finally, they came up with roka on Sunday and they will decide on Sunday about engagement and wedding.

Saying the name only is bringing a lot of nervousness in me and Sunday is the starting day for my new life. still, there is some time and what is today day it is ........ oh my god today is Saturday, and this means tomorrow is roka and I looked at Bhai

"Bhai they all mean to say that roka is tomorrow???" I whispered to my Bhai and he looked at me and nodded. I stood there confused though I have said yes for this but am I ready for this completely and this is coming to fast.

My thoughts were stopped when Bhai kept his hand on mine

"I know princess you are nervous and tensed but don't worry all will be fine they are just doing roka tomorrow not marriage so chill baby" he spoke and winked at me at last making me laugh. Then only I observed that all were looking at us and Atharv came to me

"So, talking and smiling without me," he asked and raised his eyebrows and we both looked at each other, smiled and held out ears cutely

"Solly" we both spoke at the same time making Atharv smile and he hugged us both and all were admiring our bond and we broke the hug

"So, is it ok with you princess if we keep roka tomorrow??" Asked my dad and I nodded at him and he looked at Aadiv. Even he too nodded at my dad so from tomorrow Murthy's name will be slowly fading away from my surname and Malhotra will be adding.

In this, all the hustle bustle I forgot one thing how my parents got this match I mean they were businessmen, and how come this. Anyways leave it I will ask mom later about it.

"So, shall we move towards dinner," asked my mom and we all moved towards the dining table. Uncle and dad sat on the main chairs at either end and Bhai sat beside dad and I sat beside him I.e. in between Atharv and Bhai and then exactly to my opposite sat Aadiv with his mom on his left and Eshana on his right.

My mother was serving the food to all and we three are not touching our food and all are seeing it

"What happened to you three??" Asked my mom and we all shook our head in no. She understood our meaning and came and sat beside Atharv, took her plate, and served her food and ate a morsel.

"Now will you start eating??" My mom spoke and we three nodded in yes and started to eat.

From our small age, we all have a habit of eating together and if even one is missing, we must wait for them.

After dinner, we again settled in Hall and we 3 idiots are busy among ourselves, and our talk was distributed by my mobile ring.

"Excuse me I need to pick this" saying this I went outside to receive the call as it was from the hospital.

"Hello" I spoke, and I prayed God that there must be no emergency.

"Mam we are organizing a medical camp in South India do you remember it," asked my receptionist from the other side

"Yeah it was starting from Monday" I spoke as our hospital has decided to conduct a medical camp in states like Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh. they selected four groups and allowed them places and the camp are of one month's tenure.

"Yeah mam Dr. Ramesh has left to Delhi due to an emergency and you are asked to replace him" as soon as she spoke I can't believe myself and this would be an achievement because I Started my job just a month ago and now I am having a camp In my hand, I can't miss this opportunity

"Yeah sure I will just...send me the details and timings," I said to her and I am super happy now

"Yeah I will forward to your mail mam" saying this she disconnected the call and I went inside all smiling and all looked at me

"There was a medical camp going to be conducted by our hospital and I need to go to the camp" all smiled, and Bhai and Atharv pounced on me hugging me and they both kissed my cheeks from either side. I smiled at them and later Eshana hugged me and congratulated me and then all came to wish me except him.

"Superb princess but when you will go??" Asked my dad

"Monday dad" as soon as I said to him there was a pin drop silence and I got scared for a second

"What happened, dad?" I asked my dad and he looked at me

"I think you should take permission from Malhotra and Aadiv too," said my dad, and I looked at them. They both nodded their heads and even my dad eventually agreed to me and we all smiled again.

Maybe he was a lucky charm to me I mean as soon as he came in my life, I got my first medical camp as a professional doctor.

May be many first are going to be with him and I am excited about those. I was in my thoughts when Atharv came near me

"Aru Aadiv wants to meet you so go to garden" he spoke and before I could react, he held my hand. He made his way to the garden where Aadiv and Eshana were present.

"So, you have five minutes" Eshana spoke and departed from there along with Atharv.

There was a silence around us. Both of us don't know what to speak and all but I am sure we have a lot to speak but words were not in a mood to come out from our mouth.

"Do you have any problem with me going to camp??" I asked breaking the silence shield around us. He looked at me with his smile again. He then came closer to me while I was nervous.

"Don't worry I am the happiest person after your family here because of your achievement" he spoke, and these small words made my day today. I looked towards him with a smile to which he returned. We both stood again in complete silence.

"Times up" Atharv spoke while coming towards us again. I smiled at him while he talked with Aadiv for some time. Later we all left to the living room where all were waiting.

After bidding bye to all of us the Malhotra left and even, I too went to my room. I got fresh and was about to sleep when I got a notification from all my social​ networking sites at a single time and what I saw was shocking to me.
