~Ella~
"Then I'll leave this to you." The High Priest dismissed everyone, and soon only Caden and I remained.
One human and one wolf.
He couldn't move due to the pain, yet he still made vigilant low growls, trying to scare me away.
He had completely forgotten me.
But I remembered the day we met, when he was also curled up in wolf form like this, warning me to leave.
I walked over and crouched down. "Don't be afraid, Caden. It's me."
"Five years ago, when we met, it was just like this. That time was an accident—or perhaps what you called destiny or a curse. But this time, we're bonding because we love each other."
"Caden, I only need you to love me. That's the best promise." I trembled as I kissed him.
The giant wolf made whimpering sounds like crying. His intermittent low growls were no longer threatening, but formed a confession to his beloved: "E...la."
I was startled as tears dripped into his fur. I held him tightly. "I'm here. I'll always be here. Now, please mark me, my Alpha."
A moist warmth spread across the back of my neck. I felt sharp fangs gently roaming over that patch of skin, his hot, rough tongue licking until my skin burned.
I was pinned to the ground by his massive body, a numbness spreading through my chest as sharp teeth pierced my skin with utmost care. The moment the teeth broke through, a dazzling golden light burst from the mark.
In the halo of light, Caden's body gradually shrank, finally returning to human form. He lowered his head and kissed the mark on my neck. "Ella, you're mine now."
I wrapped my arms around his neck and smiled. "And you're mine too."
The blood moon returned to normal, casting a faint glow through the window. I gently kissed away the tear on his face, while he, bare-chested, sought my lips.
The temperature in the room instantly rose. My hands were firmly held as burning kisses traced down my neck, his skillful tongue teasing the sensitive spots on my body.
"Be gentle..."
His kisses were rough yet tender as he parted my legs and buried his face between them. My body convulsed as if electrified, but he wouldn't let me close them. "Baby, you're so wet," he murmured.
"Come inside me, Caden," I cried out.
When his thick hardness entered me, my nails scratched his tense shoulders.
"You're so tight. I love it, Ella. I should have done this long ago."
He sighed deeply, and I could feel his excitement. He powerfully claimed my body, leaving his mark deep inside me. I buried my face against his chest, my legs lifted onto his shoulders, enduring his deep and urgent thrusts.
Pleasure coursed through my body like a tidal wave. I could no longer bear it, crying out as I collapsed onto him.
But he wasn't satisfied, once again parting my legs.
The bed creaked continuously, the moon above seeming to sway with our rhythm. In the depths of passion, I heard him panting as he nibbled my earlobe: "I love you, Ella."
Orange-red dawn set the entire sky ablaze.
As the sun rose, I embraced him tightly, as if embracing that proud sun itself.
