"Alpha, everything is ready"

Lucien heard one of his men saying. Nodding at the man, he sighed and walked into the house. Walking into the house, he entered Liliyah's room to see that both Liliyah's baby and Arabella's baby were sleeping. Lucien stared at the sleeping baby for a while and his heart felt as if someone was clutching it so fucking tightly letting him feel the pain.


Watching him for a while, Lucien turned and walked out of the room. Then he went to his room and grabbed a shower before changing into a black pants and a shirt. After he was done, he walked towards the dressing table and looked at himself through it. His eyes were red and he looked so fucking mess but he ignored it and forcefully smiled at himself as he turned and went out of the room.

He shouldn't be so weak. Arabella had left along with Rowan and it was no fucking lie but she had left a responsibility for Lucien. He remembered that she looked at him and parted her lips to say something but she couldn't manage herself to say it to him. Maybe she wanted to ask him to take care of her baby. Lucien thought as he again walked into Liliyah's room. Then he sighed and gently took the baby to him. As he carried the baby, he opened his emerald orbs and smiled at Lucien.

Both love and pain filled in his heart and he couldn't help it. Lucien smiled back at the baby and kissed his forehead. He was already feeling love for the baby and he knew he would die for this little baby in his arms. No matter what, he would never abandon this baby. Cuddling him for a while, he walked out of the room. Lucien's heart was aching as he walked out of the house.


He went towards the place where the funeral was being held and stopped looking at both Rowan and Arabella. He hugged the baby tightly, seeing Arabella's pale face. He was the one who was with her when left everything. He remembered the way she looked at him and said thank you even if it was so hard for her to speak. Watching Arabella for a while, Lucien moved his eyes and looked at Rowan.

No matter how many times he fought with Rowan and argued over Arabella, to Lucien seeing Rowan lying lifelessly made his heart ache. He sighed and stared at both Arabella and Rowan for a while before moving his eyes towards Arabella's mother who was crying miserably/. Why is she crying now? She has fucking abandoned Arabella when Arabella most needed her.


Which mother would ever ignore her own daughter even after knowing that she was pregnant and going to give birth to a child? Lucien was angry, his blood boiling from anger as he remembered those days. Arabella was all alone and she was in pain all the time. His mother was the one who was there for Arabella and Lucien remembered that his mother even asked Tyler to be with Liliyah because she needed to go to Arabella and take care of her.

Then suddenly, Arabella's mother looked at him and walked towards him. Seeing her coming, Lucien hugged the baby and stared at her coldly. Arabella's mother was crying as she looked at the baby in his arms and then she raised her hands to take the baby from him but Lucien didn't let her take the baby from him. He was not going to give the baby to anyone that he doesn't trust.

"Can I.. hold him?" She asked Lucien.

Watching her face for a while, Lucien chuckled and shook his head. Arabella's mother didn't like the fact that Arabella was giving birth to Rowan's child so why the hell is she asking to hold the baby now? He didn't know what this woman wanted to do so he simply took a few steps back without giving the baby to her.

"No.. no one can hold him other than me and my family members. And you will no longer be related to this child. Since you left Arabella when she most needed you, don't try to act innocent here. You hated the fact that she's giving birth to Rowan's child so this is Rowan's child. Please stay away from now on" Lucien's words were angry and cold as he spoke. He was really angry and hurt!

"Listen.. I'm telling everyone who is present here now! From now on, this child will be my son. Even though he's not my own flesh and blood, he is my son. So I hope no one will ever mention to him that I am not his father once he grows up. If this boy ever heard something like that from anyone, I swear that I won't mind killing that person who goes against my words" Looking at Everyone who presented there, Lucien uttered.

Hearing him, everyone lowered their heads and nodded at Lucien's obediently. He was the alpha of this pack and no one had the ability to go against him. So he knew that no one would ever let this child know about anything. But Lucien will tell the truth to this baby one day when he grows up because he has the right to know who his real parents are and his father was the prince of the Treral kingdom.

He died after saving his kingdom. So Lucien wanted to let the child know about everything but he was waiting for him to grow up until he became a man who can understand everything. So until then, he will be the father and he will be his everything. With that thought, he lowered his head and looked at the baby before smiling at his cute face. The baby was really cute and beautiful.

"Say farewell to mommy and daddy," he muttered as he looked at both Arabella and Rowan.

Then he watched until both Arabella and Rowan were buried. After everything was done, Lucien went back to his house. His heart was a mess and he felt he was going insane with everything. His mind was repeating what happened between him and Arabella years ago. The way she looked at him with love and the way she cuddled against his body.

Entering his room, he placed the baby on his bed and stared at him. The more he stared at the baby the more he found that he was so fucking similar to Rowan. With a smile on his face, Lucien touched the baby's face. But his eyes were filled with tears and he didn't know how to endure the pain in his heart. He had never expected such devastation to happen so he couldn't understand how to make up his mind again.

"Let's call you Rylan.." he muttered looking at the baby. As he said that, the baby giggled. Lucien chuckled and sat on the bed. Then he cuddled the baby for a while and made him fall asleep. After he fell asleep, Lucien walked out of the room. As he walked out of the room, he looked at Tyler who was lowering his head as if he was having a deep thought.

"What's up?" Lucien asked.

Then Tyler looked at him and shook his head. Rubbing his forehead, he watched Lucien and sighed. Then he waited for a while and spoke, making Lucien's heart tightened.

"Treral has no king now. Vampires are all dead and people are saved but no ruler. Don't you think it will be the beginning of another war?" Tyler asked.

Lucien clenched his jaws and lowered his head. Then he waited for a while and looked at Tyler's face. He didn't know what to say but he had one thing in his mind and it was that he would never let Rylan go there and fight.

"I have nothing to do with it, Tyler but I'm not sending him on the same path that Rowan left. He will be the alpha of this pack and that's enough. Just like Rowan lost his life, I don't want the same thing to happen to his son. And from now on, he's my son so as a father, I would never let anything happen to him"
