Lucien stood out of the room where Arabella gave birth. His heart was aching but he was enduring it as he clenched his jaws and lowered his head and forced his tears back. He never thought that she would lose her life. He never thought that she would die the day that she was waiting to come. She wanted to see her baby as soon as possible and she wanted to hold him so badly. Tears suppressed his eyes easily and he couldn't help but feel angry. Why didn't he save her? He had to help her! But he still didn't know how to help her.

"Alpha.."


Lucien raised his head and looked at the doctor who came to him with the baby in his hands. Lucien moved his eyes and stared at the little baby for a while. His heart clenched and he didn't know how to endure the pain in his heart. But he smiled and took the baby into his arms. As he took the baby, he giggled and touched Lucien's face making him smile subconsciously.

Lucien couldn't help but think about Rowan seeing the baby's eyes. The same emerald and powerful eyes. How can Lucien believe that this is the crown prince of the Terral kingdom? He smiled and touched the baby's face. Then he sighed and looked at the room again. He looked at Arabella who had turned pale completely. Seeing her he couldn't help himself letting out tears.

Hugging the little baby, Lucien closed his eyes. He would take care of this baby until Rowan returns. That's what he thought looking at the baby. Then soon, the baby started to cry. Lowering his head, he looked at the baby and clenched his jaws not knowing why he was crying. This is the first time he's carrying a little baby and he didn't know what the baby needs.


"He needs to be fed, Alpha."

Those words stabbed Lucien's heart. He raised his head and again looked at Arabella. How can she feed her little baby now? And how can the baby drink his mother's milk while she is not alive? Taking a deep breath, Lucien ignored every fucking thing and looked at the doctor as he spoke.


"Arrange Arabella, I will hold her funeral today" . With that, Lucien walked out of the hospital hugging the little baby that Arabella gave birth to. As he walked, his eyes filled with tears and his vision blurred because of the tears but ignoring it, he walked. Arriving at his home, he walked into the house with tears in his eyes. As soon as he entered the house, Tyler was the one who came to him.

Staring at Lucien for a while, Tyler raised his eyebrows with shock seeing that Lucien was crying. Lucien had cried like this only for Arabella and he knew that this would be the last time. He watched Tyler's face and sighed before lowering his head and looking at the baby. He had stopped crying and now had fallen asleep. But Lucien needed to feed him. Taking a deep breath, he looked at Tyler and spoke again.

"Ask Liliyah to feed the baby too" He muttered.

Then Tyler walked towards him and stared at the baby for a while. Soon Tyler took a few steps back and clenched his jaws. His eyes reddened and he parted his lips wanting to say something. Lucien didn't know what was going through his mind but seeing him, Lucien felt that Tyler knew something.

"They are dead!" he said looking at Lucien. Lucien twitched his eyebrows and watched Tylers' face not knowing what he meant but them? Arabella was the one who died and why is he telling them? He thought looking at Tyler and then he sighed before walking into the house wanting to give the baby to Liliyah.

"Rowan… is also dead Lucien" A shiver ran through Lucien's body and he immediately turned to Tyler. His heart hammered against his chest with pain and fear. Rowan? Was dead? He asked himself but he couldn't believe it. How the hell can Rowan die? He fucking came here last night and went to Arabella but now he's dead? Lucien's heart was stabbed with those words and he didn't know what to do.

"How? Rowan?" he forced his words out looking at Tyler.

Then Tyler nodded at him and closed his eyes. Lucien felt that he was suffocating what he just heard. Rowan.. Also dead? But how come? Rowan was fucking strong and fucking intelligent about everything. He couldn't understand how it happened.

If Rowan also died, this baby.. He has no father and mother. Is he alone in this world as soon as he came to the world? He thought about looking at the baby who was sleeping. Lucien was in daze but he shook his head and looked at Tyler before forcing him to go and to Liliyah and give the baby. If Rowan is dead, he needs to find Rowan's body too. He needed to bury both of them together. Both Arabella and Rowan.

Entering Liliyah's room, he looked at his mother and Liliyah who was giggling while looking at Liliyah's newborn baby boy. Seeing them, Lucien's heart tightened. He stared at them for a while and sighed before walking towards them. Every time his mind reminded him that Arabella was gone, it pierced his heart mercilessly. Arabella's sudden death was already killing him.

"Lily… you won't mind feeding him from now on, right?" he asked her. Then Liliyah looked at him with shocked eyes and she moved her eyes towards the baby. Nodding at him, she immediately took the baby from him without asking any question. Lucien was glad that his sister was kind. She didn't even ask him who's baby or where his mother was. She just simply took the baby and hugged him against his chest.

"Arabella's baby?"

Lucien moved his eyes towards his mother who was smiling at him happily. Watching her face, Lucien lowered his head. He didn't know how to tell his mother that Arabella was gone. His mother would get hurt if she heard it because she was the one who did everything for Arabella while she was pregnant. To her, Arabella was her own daughter. But he knew that the truth cannot be hidden forever.

"Arabella… passed away while giving birth.. And found that Rowan was also gone. From now on I will be the one to be his both father and mother. Treat him, thinking of him as my own son." with a painful smile on his face, Lucien muttered. He would take care of this child and he would be the father for this child. Since he had no one, he would have this baby and raise him.

"What? Noo… you're lying!" his mother was restless hearing him. Her broken voice echoed inside of the room. Lucien's heart was suffocating and he nodded at his mother before looking at the baby that Lilyah was already feeding. He was drinking milk so happily because he had no idea what had happened for real.

"Lucien? No!"

Liliyah's eyes covered with tears and she looked at him. Watching her face for a while, Lucien clenched his jaws and nodded at her. He was not lying, why would he tell that kind of terrible lie? He never wanted Arabella to die and he never wanted her to get hurt but at the end she left everything.

"Take care of him. I'm going to find Rowan. I need to bring him back too." Lucien uttered before walking out of the room.

As he walked out, he looked at Tyler who was standing at the door while lowering his head. Tyler was someone who could form special bonds between mates and he felt both Arabella's and Rowan's bond so Lucien didn't think that the thing he said about Rowan was a lie.

"I'm coming with you.. We don't know what has happened"

Lucien nodded at Tyler and walked out of the house with him. Then he simply walked towards the house Arabella and Rowan lived in. Looking at the house, he felt his heart was tearing apart but ignoring it, he looked at the forest and shifted into his wolf before running towards the path where Rowan ran last night,
