"I asked you to stay with her, why did you follow me?"

Rowan's calm but deadly voice came out as he turned and looked at Edwin who was lowering his head with guilt. Rowan fucking asked him to stay with Arabella and take care of her but look at him, he had fucking followed his secretly. Watching Edwin for a while, Rowan sighed and shook his head. He didn't know how to react with this. Edwin can't go back again and he didn't want to send him back knowing it's dangerous.


"Nothing will happen to the princess. She's all okay and I can feel it."

Rowan's heart tightened hearing him. Watching Edwin for a while, he got up from the chair he was sitting on and walked towards the door of the cottage he was in. Then he looked out as he clenched his jaws. It's been a fucking week since he left and he couldn't help but think about her. He didn't know how she was but he knew he must have been crying all night without him next to her.

The child inside of her belly was growing up and Rowan felt it before leaving but he had no choice. Thinking about Arabella, he sighed and clenched his jaws. He wanted to go back to her. Just like she asked him to come back to her and baby he needed to go back but the situation is way too dangerous here with vampires having prepared for everything. They must have felt Rowan's arrival.


"My lord.. The southern bridge is down! We have our men among vampires and they will let us know everything"

Rowan looked at the man who came and spoke to him. Nodding at him, Rowan walked towards the desk and looked at the map on the desk. Staring at the map for a while, he clenched his jaws and fists. This week, he let the bridge down and he was really glad that none of his men died during the battle. Thinking about it, he turned to the man and spoke again.


"Tonight we will attack the side castle" Rowan uttered.

Then the man nodded at Rowan and lowered his head before waiting for a while. Then he walked away. After he left, Rowan looked at Edwin who was looking at him with curious eyes. Seeing his eyes, Rowan chuckled and took off his shirt before walking towards the medicine rack. As he took off the shirt, Edwin gasped.

"How? How did this happen?"

Rowan heard Edwin's voice and he lowered his head. How did this happen? This happened as soon as he came here. Taking a deep breath, Rowan took the box and threw it at Edwin. Catching the box, he walked towards Rowan with wide and hurt filled eyes. Feeling him coming, Rowan grabbed a chair and sat on it letting Edwin check his back.

"I think Lucien had killed Milena already. The parasite died but its venom came out. And at the same time vampires had cast a spell around everywhere near the castle. They would soon find me if that spell worked on me. Need to stop it Edwin. Find a witch for me" Rowan uttered. His eyes were sharp and cold. He had so many emotions in him but none could see his emotions in his eyes.

His eyes were covered with nothing but danger and coldness. He looked dangerous. There was no smile on his face and there was no gentleness in his face. He had changed. He was not like when he was with Arabella. The Rowan who was here was angry, dangerous and callous. He would kill anyone who comes near him. There's no mercy in his heart and he was such a heartless person now.

"I'll find a witch… but what about the venom of the parasite?" Rowan heard Edwin. Letting out a deep sigh, Rowan covered his face with his palms and then rubbed his forehead. He really didn't know how to remove the venom from his body. The venom was coming out of his mouth with his blood but that was not a good thing. That thing made his body weaker. So he needed to stop this somehow.

"We can do it after finding a witch," Rowan said.

Then Edwin sighed and nodded as he started to apply the oil inside of the box against Rowan's skin. Rowan clenched his jaws and closed his eyes. It hurt him. The skin in his back was ruined with the venom and the spell. Taking a deep breath, he calmed himself down as he endured the pain and everything. As the pain increased, Rowan clenched his jaws and thought about Arabella.

For over this week, he always thought about her when he was in pain. Her smile and her gorgeous and innocent face made him relax himself and forget about the pain in him. She was his painkiller for everything. Even if she was not here with him, he could feel the way she would act if she got to know what was happening with him. She would cry helplessly and then run everywhere insanely finding a cure for him. Thinking about it, Rowan smiled and opened his eyes.

"I need to finish everything and go back. I need to try this before Arabella gives birth to the baby" Turning to Edwin, Rowan muttered. He knew that this would take time but he needed to be there when Arabella gave birth. She needed him for that and he needed to share his strength with her because giving birth to his child would make Arabella in pain that she had never imagined to face.

"But.. I don't think we can do it my lord. We need time for everything"

Edwin's voice was honest and he was speaking to him as he stared at Rowan's eyes. Rowan knew that Edwin was worried about everything and he was scared something would happen to him if he missed a little part of their mission but Rowan wanted to go there.

"Arabella needs me when she gives birth. Even though she had no idea about this yet, she will want me once the baby is coming out" Rowan muttered looking at Edwin. Then Edwin nodded at Rowan with an understanding face but Rowan saw Edwin was way too worried about everything. But ignoring it, he got up from the chair and sighed before wearing his shirt again. Then he looked at Edwin.

"Let's see what will happen in the future, we have time for everything. I found that Savater was keeping a human girl with him. Raping and hurting, she was locked inside of a room. We need to get that girl because she must have known so many things"

Rowan found it. He found that Savater was keeping a human girl. He had no idea why Savater was keeping a human girl with him but as Rowan knew, Savater was sucking her blood every night.

"The girl's blood must be giving him strength. He cannot win against a face to face fight with you my lord, I think he's gathering the strength. Once the girl is dead, his body will be weakened."

Rowan nodded at Edwin and rubbed his forehead. His mind was filled with complicated thoughts, as he knew the girl was a teenager. But when he thought about killing the girl to make Savater weak, his heart clenched because the girl was an innocent soul and she knew nothing about this.

It was obvious that she must have been terrified in this world. Every supernatural thing is happening here and as a human she knew nothing. So he didn't feel like killing the girl for nothing. But at the same time, Rowan didn't know about it well. He didn't know if the girl liked Savater or not so he had to be careful about everything. Thinking about it, he groaned and looked at Edwin.

"My Lord… something terrible happened." Rowan's eyes turned cold and he looked at the man who came into the cottage with a blood filled body. Seeing him, Rowan's heart tightened. Waiting for a while, he immediately walked past the man and ran out of the cottage as he looked outside. Rowan saw a girl about ten or eleven years old standing while looking at him but the girl was filled with blood.

Staring at the girl, Rowan moved his eyes and looked at the men who were on the floor. They were killed. He didn't know how they died without even letting anything feel him. Watching the blood and dead bodies of his men, he moved his eyes and looked at the girl again. He didn't know who she was and why she was here but he knew that this girl was the one who killed his men.

"The vampires around you! So careless. Your men were killed long ago, what are you doing surrounding these vampires who tell everything about you to the Savater? Never thought the prince of the Treral kingdom is this careless!" he stared at the little girl emotionlessly. Then she walked towards him and stood in front of him.
