"Are you okay?"

Placing a jacket on Arabella's wolf's body, Lucien asked her. As he did that, Arabella shifted back and covered herself with the jacket. Then she waited for a while before raising her head and looking at Lucien who was looking at her with worried eyes. Seeing him, Arabella let out a deep sigh and moved her eyes before looking at the dead bodies on the ground. And her eyes stopped at Milena's.


"Isn't she your wife?" moving away from him, Arabella asked. As he asked that, Lucien chuckled and looked at Milena's dead body before letting out a deep sigh. He watched the dead body for a while and then moved his eyes towards her before parting his lips to speak. Arabella stared at his blue eyes waiting to hear what he had to say.

"She was… but everything was fake."

His reply made Arabella smile. Moving away from him, she lowered her head and looked at her belly. Nothing was wrong and nothing happened to her. Thankfully the moon goddess Lucien came at the right time. Hugging herself because of the cold. She slowly walked through the forest wanting to go out of the forest.


"Bella I'm sorry"

Arabella stopped. She turned and looked at Lucien who was looking at her with reddened eyes. Seeing him, she couldn't help but smile but her smile was empty as there were no emotions. She didn't know how to react hearing him. She was not into him anymore and she didn't care about anything anymore. She didn't want him to apologize for their past.


"I understand you.. You wear under a spell" even though she wanted to act cold towards him and ignore him, she didn't do that. Looking at Lucien, she could feel Lucien from years ago. The man she loved and the boy she spent her time with. He had again turned into the same boy but too bad she was not into him anymore. She was in love with Rowan so badly.

"Will you forgive me?" Walking towards her, Lucien asked. Arabella sighed hearing him and she shrugged her shoulders, turning to leave again. Then Lucien came next to her and walked with her. Can she really forgive him? Forgive him for hurting her for two damn years? Her heart covered with the pain for herself remembering how he treated her years ago because of Milena.

"The forgiveness will not change anything Lucien. You still want it?" Smiling at him, she asked. Then Lucien watched her face for a while and clenched his jaws. He looked so hurt and he looked so pathetic as he watched her. She felt that he was hurt but it's too late. If Lucien ever showed her a bit of gentleness before, Arabella knew that she would never start to be with Rowan.

But Arabella was happy that Lucien was like that before. That's why Arabella got together with Rowan. She was happy with Rowan and she loved him already. He was way too different from Lucien. Arabella knew that sometimes her words and actions hurt Rowan but yet he smiled at her and came to her not wanting to let her get angry at him. He was so understanding and he was so gentle.

"I made a huge mistake and I had to think about everything. I was so fucking stupid, but yet I need you to forgive me" Hearing Lucien's words, Arabella sighed and looked into his eyes. She remembered that when she was a teenager, she looked into these same eyes. Her heart was covered with happiness and love at that time but now everything had changed and only emptiness was in her heart when she looked at him.

"Okay I forgive you.." she muttered looking at him. She didn't want to keep her heart filled with anger and hatred towards anyone. Lucien at least asked her for forgiveness and that's all. And she was happy that he already knew she was her mate and not Milena. He ran after a mirage ignoring the fact that she was the woman of his life. But Arabella had already forgotten about everything and she didn't think about anything anymore.

She was already together with Rowan and she was not keeping those things in her heart. Looking away from Lucien, she looked ahead and walked. While walking Arabella looked up at the sky. She didn't know what Rowan was doing and how he was. It's been a week and she stayed in that house without him for a week. Thinking about Rowan, her heart ached and her eyes turned moistened.

"Will the war be so dangerous?" moving her eyes, she looked at Lucien. Hearing her, Lucien pressed his lips together and waited for a while. Then rubbing his forehead, he looked around the forest before looking at her again. Arabella wanted to hear something good but she knew that looking at Lucien's expression she would not be able to hear something like that.

"A war will not be never dangerous, Arabella. I don't want to hurt you by telling this but he was fighting with vampires so it will always be dangerous. No one will never know what will happen in the next second but I can tell that he will return to you" T

ears filled in her eyes and she looked away from Lucien as she listened to his words. His words were honest and she knew it but she couldn't bear to hear something like that.

She hated the word 'dangerous'! She didn't want Rowan to be in danger because she cannot think about a life without him anymore. Even though he's not here with her, she knew that he's living somewhere far away from her so that thought made her relaxed. But if she thought about something happening to him, that made her heart go numb and she was just simply scared.

"He should return to me!" her lips parted and she muttered. She really wanted him back. She wanted him to see this child and she didn't want to let her son live without a father. As she said that, she looked at Lucien. His eyes were red and he was looking ahead with his jaws clenched. It was hurting him the fact that she was with Rowan but Arabella didn't have anything to do with it.

"You're alone at home, you want to go back with me?" Arabella looked at Lucien and waited for a while. She really didn't want to go back with him but remembering that she had to stay alone without her guardian at this time, she nodded at him. Lucien nodded at her and smiled as he led her out of the house. Arriving at the house, he opened the door for her. Arabella entered the house and looked around.

She couldn't help but think about the way she used to stay here as if it was her own home years ago. She came here every time she wanted and she enjoyed the food that Lucien's mother cooks and she played with Liliyah. Thinking about the memory, she looked at Lucien. He smiled at her and sighed before walking into the house. As he walked into the house, suddenly a man came towards him.

Arabella was stunned seeing an unknown man inside of the house and the most stunned part was that he came from the side where Liliyah's room was. Arabella looked at the man and then moved her eyes towards Lucien. Lucien looked so calm seeing him and he didn't mind the man. Then Lucien looked back at Arabella and sighed seeing her confused face. Then walking back towards her, he spoke.

"Tyler.. He's Liliyah's bastard mate!"

Arabella moved her widened eyes towards the man and smiled forcefully hearing what Lucien said. She didn't know why Lucien called him bastard mate, but that sounds so funny. Tyler stared at Arabella for a while and clenched his jaws before moving his eyes towards Lucien.

"Why is she carrying the alpha king's child?"

Arabella was taken back, she looked at him with wide eyes and then she swiftly looked at Lucien not knowing what was going on. She didn't know how this man said something like that from the first look that he had felt she was pregnant but not only that he said, alpha king's?

"What does it have to do with you? You go and take care of your child" Pushing him away, Lucien said. Arabella was looking at Tyler, soon he again looked at her and raised his eyebrows before pressing his lips together. Seeing him, Arabella sighed. She didn't even know him before but he knew about the alpha king. Looking away from him, she looked at Lucien.

"So Rowan was the king?" He asked Arabella. Without answering him, Arabella sighed and walked away. She didn't want to talk to someone that she never knew before. Walking away from them, she entered Liliyah's room. Seeing Liliyah who was in a bad mood she sighed.

"What's wrong?" she asked, walking towards her.

"Bella? You are here? This hour?" her eyes widened and she looked at Arabella and immediately got up from the bed.

"Hmm. I'll go tomorrow morning" she smiled at Liliyah.

"That's great.." Liliyah smiled, taking her hand.
