Arabella's heart shattered as she heard what the girl said. Her heart was beating so fast and she felt that she was going insane. Her heartbeat gave her nothing but pain. Enduring the fear and the pain in her heart, she slowly looked at Rowan who was looking at the girl. Arabella had no idea who that girl was and what she was to Rowan but seeing them, her heart felt suffocating.

Rowan had never looked at another woman before but now he was looking at the girl who just came from nowhere. Arabella didn't know how this woman came here and from where she came from. Biting her lips nervously, Arabella looked at Rowan and then moved her eyes to the girl.


The girl had shoulder length blonde hair and she looked beautiful. Looking at her, Arabella felt the fear of Rowan going to her and leaving her behind. She didn't want it… she didn't want to feel another betrayal. If Rowan ever did something like her, she would die from heart pain. She would just kill herself along with the child in her belly. So she didn't want that thing to happen and she didn't want to see him being with another woman.

"I can't be with you Lidia. I'm sorry"

Rowan's words were honey to Arabella's ears. She watched him and sighed in relief. Her heart was beating so fast with love and she knew Rowan would not betray her and his own child. As she watched him, he looked at her and smiled, making Arabella smile at him too. She was scared but her heart was telling her that he would never be like Lucien.


"We are mates! We should be together. How can you just be with another woman instead of me?"

Arabella's heart tightened. She looked at Rowan and subconsciously took a few steps back. So… this… is Rowan's mate? She looked at the girl, Arabella's heart covered with pain and guilt as she looked at the girl. She clutched the shirt she was wearing tightly and looked at Rowan.


Arabella's body was wet and the cold wind hit her body as she felt the ice cold against her body. Hugging her body, she looked at Rowan and the girl and she felt her heart was aching. It was because of her that Rowan's mate left him so she felt guilty but now she cannot give him to his mate. She loves him and she just loves him so much so she can't! She didn't want to be lonely again.

Thinking about the things, her eyes covered with tears and she slowly took another step back. She felt that she was an outsider because they are mates and she was just an outside woman. Seeing them, her mind showed the way Lucien left him and how Lucien treated her thinking that Milena was his mate but Rowan was not like that, and her heart told it but she felt the fear.

"BELLA…. Come here…. You will fall! Fuck!"

Soon, she heard Rowan's terrified voice. As she heard him, she looked back and saw that she was standing at the cliff. If she took another step back, she would fall into the deepest part of the river. But the most dangerous thing was that the place was slippery. Her heart hammered against her chest and her body trembled.

"For the fuck's sake, come here." Rowan strode towards her, Arabella watched him and slowly took a step ahead and suddenly, the girl came and hugged Rowan making Arabella gasped.

"Let her die. It was all her fault! I know her…. Arabella! Let her die and be with me Rowan…" she said.

Arabella's body trembled and she looked at Rowan with tears in her eyes. As she looked at Rowan, he clenched his jaws and pushed the woman who was hugging him away and came to her as he simply pulled her to him.

"What's wrong with you?" Rowan asked as he hugged her tightly against his chest. Arabella felt Rowan's heart beat and she buried her face against his chest. She hated herself for thinking that he would leave her and be with another woman. He was not like that, he swore that no matter what she would be his only woman.

"Don't be careless. If something happened to you, it's not only you! Two lives!"

Rowan's voice was angry as he said that. She looked at him and bit her lower lip as her eyes covered with tears. She was so scared, she was scared that he would leave her. But she knew that he would not do that thing to her. Smiling at him, she rested her forehead against his chest.

"Wear your clothes, we are leaving" Kissing her head, Rowan said.

Arabella nodded at him and sighed as she moved her head and looked at the girl who had fallen down and looked at them with tears filled. She was the one who rejected Rowan, so now she has no right to come to Rowan. Arabella thought about looking at her. Then she wrapped her hand around Rowan's arm and looked at him.

"You can't be with her rowan… we are going to be parents" ignoring what Rowan would think if she said that, Arabella muttered looking into his intimidating emerald eyes. Then he watched her face for a while and smiled with a nod. Seeing his reaction, Arabella sighed in relief and looked at the girl.

"He's mine now. You rejected him so you can't come for him anymore. Please don't bother us again. Hope you will understand" looking at the girl, Arabella muttered. Then she saw the way the girl gritted her teeth angrily. Seeing her face, Arabella could guess that the girl is way too stubborn.

"I came to find you so many times Rowan… but why you weren't there?"

Ignoring Arabella, she asked Rowan as she got up and walked towards him. Arabella looked up at Rowan's face and frowned upon hearing her. Rowan was not there? She went to find him? What was that? She thought and looked at the girl.

"I was there.. But I didn't want to see you. Lidia, I told you the truth that day, but I never said that I would not treat you well if you were with me. She's the girl I always loved and I didn't want to hide it from you. So I told the truth wanting to see if you stay with me or leave but as soon as you hear that, you rejected me."

"So what more do we have to talk about? It was you who stopped things between us. And now I have her and there will be no turning back. Even if you are my mate, I don't mind. She's the one I always wanted."

"If you stayed with me that day and tried to change my mind, maybe you would have been the one at victory but you gave up on the game before even starting it. So please.. Just like she said, don't bother us! There's no time for me to deal with your craze"

Arabella was so happy after hearing Rowan. She knew that he would never change. A smile appeared on her face and she looked at Rowan. Rowan's eyes were sharp and dangerous as he spoke to the girl. He looked so handsome, she knew that he cannot leave her after she got pregnant. And he was a faithful man.

"Let's go"

Rowan lowered his head and looked at her. Arabella obediently nodded at him and walked towards her clothes as she bent down and picked them up. Then she looked back at the girl who was looking at her and Arabella saw the anger and hatred in her eyes but Arabella completely ignored it and walked away with Rowan.

Coming into the forest, Rowan simply shifted into his wolf. Arabella watched his strong and gorgeous wolf for a while and changed into her clothes before getting onto him. She touched his slightly welt long fur and clutched as Rowan's wolf wiggled his tail and ran fast. His wolf was speed but yet, his wolf was running carefully without letting her get hurt or anything happened to her.

Arabella knew that Rowan's wolf was protecting his pup with his careful actions. She smiled with that thoughts and hugged Rowan's wolf's neck before burying her face against his fur. She felt that her whole life would depend on him because he was just so strong and so lovable.
