Arabella was awakened suddenly. Opening her eyes, she slowly turned her head and moved her hands wanting to see and feel Rowan but she felt nothing but the empty space of the bed beside her. Arabella's heart skipped a beat with a horror and she immediately sat up on the bed as she saw Rowan was nowhere to be seen. Her heart clenched and she looked around the room for a while and slowly got up from the bed.

Taking her housecoat and wearing it, Arabella walked towards the door of her room and then slowly opened the door. She didn't know where Rowan was and where he had left. Walking out of the room and entering the downstairs, she sighed and looked around inside of the house and waited for a while.


"Rowan? Where are you?"

She spoke while looking at the clock. It was already two in the morning but Rowan was not in the bed with her. Her heart covered with fear and she became restless thinking that he had left without even telling her. Her eyes reddened and tears filled in them. Arabella walked inside of the house everywhere and walked towards the main door wanting to go out.

But as soon as she opened the door, she was stopped as someone's hand touched hers. Arabella's heart tightened and horror took over her mind. Then she slowly lowered her head and looked at the hand which was touching her hand. The hand on hers was ridiculously glowing as if it was a light.


"AHHHHH…."

Arabella screamed and moved away as she looked at the woman who was looking at her with worried eyes. The woman in front of her was glowing. She was just simply like a fucking light. Arabella's heart was hammering against her chest and she was scared. She couldn't understand what she was seeing.


"Who…. Who are you?"

Taking a few steps back from the woman, Arabella asked with her shaking voice. Then subconsciously Arabella's hands moved towards her belly and she covered her belly with her hands thinking that something would happen to her baby. She was scared and she didn't want anything to happen to her baby.

Then the woman's eyes fell on her belly and she stared at Arabella's belly for a while. Then her lips slowly curled upwards and she simply knelt in front of Arabella making Arabella's heart filled with countless questions and a confused filled face. Staring at the strange woman kneeling in front of her. Arabella bit her lower lip.

"I'm sorry for scaring you my queen, I was sent here by my lord. I'm a secret guardian from the Treral kingdom. Every secret guardian in the kingdom has felt the signs of the new crown prince. So I am here for your protection and take care of everything" she muttered, lowering her head. Hearing what she said, Arabella sighed and looked at her for a while. Then she clutched her nightgown not knowing how to believe her.

"How can I trust you? Please leave!" Arabella muttered not wanting to believe anything and anyone. After she found out about Rowan and his real identity, she decided not to trust anyone because she needed to protect the child in her belly. So many people would come to harm her and if she trusted them, things would get worse so she was going to live carefully while Rowan was also going to leave soon.

"My queen. Before I came here, I met my lord. He was the one who asked me to come here and stay until you wake up. He said he would come soon and before the sun rises. So please believe me my queen, if you don't believe me, ask my lord to kill me once he's here" the woman's words stunned Arabella. Kill her? Arabella asked herself and then sighed. She had never seen a woman like this before and she didn't know how to believe too.

"You met him? Where did he go?" Arabella asked her. Then the woman slowly stood up from the floor and looked at her with a smile. Seeing her smile, Arabella sighed, not knowing what to do now. She didn't know how to believe this woman and how to understand. Without asking any question, she waited for that woman to talk.

"My lord went to the dark forest and he said he would come back soon. Until he came back, he asked me to take care of the queen" she said. Arabella's heart tightened. To the dark forest? She asked herself and then lowered her head as she wanted to think about the reasons why Rowan had to go to the dark forest. And even at this hour? Is he crazy or wants to die?

Arabella's mind filled with so many thoughts and she sighed and rubbed her forehead before rubbing her forehead. She didn't know how to understand Rowan's attitudes. He's acting crazy sometimes and now he has gone into the dark forest. Arabella knew that Rowan was strong and he could survive but she was worried and she was scared about the fact that the dark forest is a place that no one should go at this hour.

"Why did he even go there at this hour? Without even saying a word to me?" She asked the woman with a worried tone. Then the woman smiled at Arabella and shook her head. Arabella didn't know what to do with this Rowan. Sometimes, he was doing things without even telling her or asking her.

No matter how many times, she had asked him not to do anything without telling her. He would just always do the same thing and then after everything he comes and tells her that he was sorry and he would not do the same thing again. Arabella felt angry at Rowan but she knew that he was not doing something without thinking about anything. He may have so many reasons for that.

"I think my lord didn't want to wake you up from the sleep of my queen," she said.

Arabella forcefully smiled at the woman and nodded. Then she decided to go to the room. Arabella didn't trust the woman in front of her fully and she didn't want to stay with her for so long. So she decided to go into the room and stay until Rowan comes.

"I'm going to the room"

Arabella said and then without waiting for the woman's answer, she immediately walked past the woman and hurried her steps upstairs. Then she entered the room and closed the door and locked it. Arabella let out a deep and complicated sigh while thinking about the woman. She looked like a walking light and Arabella couldn't understand how she became like that.

And she was from the Treral kingdom. Lowering her head, Arabella looked at her belly and placed her both hands on it. Then she gently caressed her belly. The next king of the Treral kingdom, she thought while caressing her belly. Her lips slowly curled upwards and she felt that she was in daze, and couldn't think about anything properly.

She never expected that she would get pregnant by Rowan and they would be together. It was such an unexpected thing and it was such a fate. No one can tell about how people's life changes and how everything becomes unbelievably changes. Just like her life, she hoped every woman who was getting hurt should deserve better in their future.

Arabella was happy with Rowan and she felt that she was blessed to be with him but her heart ached with the thought of him leaving in a week. Arabella's heart collapsed as she remembered the fact. She slowly walked towards the bed and sat on it as tears suppressed her eyes easily. She didn't want him to leave, she wanted him to be with her at least she would give birth to this child.

But Arabella knew that it's impossible with what Rowan said to her. Wiping her tears, she smiled forcefully. She shouldn't cry anymore, she will just simply wait for him. She was sure that Rowan would not give up so easily and he would take care of himself just to come to her. He will be able to come back no matter how many years and how many decades have passed.

Arabella sighed and laid on the bed slowly as she thought about it. Covering herself with the quit, she closed her eyes. She was tired and she felt that she wanted to sleep. She hoped that Rowan would be here when she wakes up in the morning. So then, she would be able to ask him why he left there so suddenly.
