Lucien felt something was not right as he saw Rowan's wolf was getting weak while fighting with the creature. Letting out a growl, Lucien's wolf sped towards Rowan and defended him from the creature. They had to fight for so long with the creature's strength and after so many times, they finally managed to kill the creature. As soon as they killed the creature, Rowan growled and got up from the ground.

After killing the creature, Rowan felt that that parasite in his body went numb and the parasite's actions became lower and weak. Rowan's wolf let out a growl and stepped towards the dead creature and he just simply started to sniff the disgusting creature on the ground. As his wolf did that, Rowan felt the disgusting smell of the creature. But Rowan felt so fucking comfortable with the fact that the parasite became so weak with this creatures death.


Waiting for a while, Rowan's wolf turned and looked at Lucien's jet black strong wolf. Scanning Lucien's wolf for a while, Rowan saw the bleeding injuries in his shoulders and arms. Letting out a simple growl, Rowan's wolf stepped towards Lucien's wolf making Lucien's wolf lower his head with gratitude. Then Rowan's wolf licked the blood on Lucien's wounds making Lucien's wolf heal completely.

After that, he just simply walked towards the place where he took off clothes and shifted back to his human form as he swiftly changed into his clothes. After getting changed he didn't see Lucien. Thinking that Lucien went to change, Rowan walked towards the path passing the creature. Then in a while Lucien also came and joined him. Watching Lucien's confused face for a while Rowan chuckled with the thought of Lucien has so many questions to ask.

"You were weak when you fought. What happened?" Lucien aimed his first question at Rowan.


Hearing his question, Rowan sighed and looked at Lucien's face. He didn't know how to tell that he was having a parasite inside of him. But not wanting to lie, Rowan parted his thin lips as he spoke the truth. Lucien should know about what kind of thing that Arabella went through in the past two years.

"I have a parasite inside of me. Every time these creatures came, the parasite acted aggressively and sucked my wolf's blood furiously" he replied while scanning everywhere using his blood eyes. He wanted to find the tunnel that the woman mentioned to him. He expected that he would find something in that tunnel which could make him remove this parasite from his body.


"What? A parasite? It's impossible Rowan! How did it come into your body?" Lucien's voice was filled with both curiosity and worries as he asked Rowan. Rowan lowered his head, then he took a deep breath. He got this parasite to his body from Arabella. Arabella was the one who had suffered all the time with this parasite in her body sucking her blood aggressively.

"It's from Arabella. You never knew, right? Arabella had this parasite in her body for two years and she was the one who suffered from this. How can I let her suffer knowing that she's way too weaker than me and weak to handle this parasite so I had no choice but to tell her that this parasite would die once we became together and this parasite will not come into my body."

"She believed me with so many doubts. She kept asking me that the parasite would die for sure or enter my body. So I lied and she agreed to drink my blood. She still doesn't know that the parasite is living inside of me, Lucien. She would just go insane if she got to know that I lied. So I hope you will never…"

"No! I would never! I promise"

Lucien interrupted Rowan as he said that immediately, Rowan smiled at Lucien and nodded. He really didn't want Arabella to know the fact that the parasite is still alive and living inside of him. If she ever got to know, he has no idea what she would do. She would just leave him without a thought.

While they were walking, suddenly, Rowan saw the tunnel. He stopped Lucien and watched the tunnel for a while before moving his eyes to Lucien. He knew that Lucien cannot see the tunnel since he didn't possess blood eyes. Only an alpha with royal blood could use blood eyes. So he was not sure about going in with Lucien.

"Here's the tunnel!" He muttered looking at Lucien. Then Lucien moved his eyes towards the place that he pointed to. Then he shook his head and again looked at rowan. Rowan knew that Lucien would not be able to see it as if it was invisible to all werewolves! Letting out a deep sigh, Rowan spoke.

"I need to go in."

Lucien watched Rowan for a while and clenched his jaws as he lowered his head. Patting Lucien's shoulder, Rowan decided to go in without wasting time. It was almost at dawn and he wanted to go home soon before Arabella wakes up. He didn't want to face a problem and face Arabella's shout so he wanted to finish everything and go home soon.

"Go in and pull me in. Maybe, I will also be able to come" Lucien said.

Rowan nodded at him and stepped towards the tunnel. The tunnel let out a chilly wind that made his body shudder. Staring at the darkness filled the tunnel for a while, he clenched his jaws and stepped inside of it. Standing at the entrance, he gave his hand to Lucien. Then Lucien caught his hand as Rowan pulled him. To Rowan's relief, Lucien could enter the tunnel.

"For the goddess' sake!" Lucien said as he watched the darkness fill the tunnel in front of him. Rowan chuckled and walked inside of it with Lucien following him. The more they walked in, the more they felt the ice cold wind ruthlessly kissing their bodies making them shiver but both Rowan and Lucien were powerful and strong so they could manage everything.

"I don't know what we will have to face here Rowan."

Lucien spoke while walking. Rowan sighed and nodded at Lucien. He was also curious and he didn't know what will be here. He couldn't feel anything and his parasite was calm and weak as it didn't react towards this place. So Rowan didn't know what this place was and what will be here.

"But I can be sure we have to fight here. I feel like this is the place that every creature comes from"

Rowan didn't know about it for sure but he guessed it and he somewhat felt the disgusting scent of those creatures. Lucien hummed and followed Rowan as they walked into the deep inside of the tunnel not caring about the things that could happen to them.

"Fuck!" Suddenly, Lucien groaned with a curse.

Looking at Lucien, Rowan slowly moved his eyes as he looked at Lucien's feet after seeing Lucien was looking at his feet. As he moved his eyes, he saw that Lucien had stepped on the saliva-like thing of those creatures. Rowan chuckled seeing it and looked at Lucien's disgust and displeasure filled face not knowing what to say.

"You're right! Fucking creatures" Lucien uttered with a cold tine and stepped ahead as she wiped his feet against the rock which was somewhat away from him. Rowan walked to Lucien and waited for him. And at the same time, both Rowan's and Lucien's ears filled with the sound of so many creatures grunting at the same time.

"Fuck! We need to hide Lucien. Come on!"

Rowan hurriedly said as he pulled Lucien along with him as he ran finding a place to hide. Finding a suitable place, Rowan and Lucien hid. Then they waited without letting any sound come from them. Rowan knew that both Lucien and him cannot fight against so many creatures.

And especially, they were somewhat tired with walking and fighting earlier with the creature. So all they could do was stay without getting caught by the creatures. As they stayed there silently. Then they heard the sound of creatures grunting and running everywhere furiously as if they had felt something.

"Did they feel us?" Lucien whispered looking at rowan.

"Maybe, but I don't think so. They are running to the forest. Maybe, they felt the scent of the dead creature" he replied looking at Lucien.
