While walking into the dark forest with Lucien, Rowan turned his head and looked at Lucien's brave face. Watching him for a while, Rowan sighed and clenched his jaws as he decided to say something to Lucien. Since he was going to leave in six days, he can only ask for help from Lucien because Arabella's mother was also not helping them.

"I'm leaving in six days Lucien, Once I'm gone, please take care of Arabella. She will suffer with her pregnancy and I won't be able to be there for her. Hope you will help her without having any thoughts towards her." His words were direct and calm as he said Lucien. He wanted Lucien to help Arabella but at the same time, he didn't want Lucien to have any other thoughts about her anymore. Because Arabella is already his.


"How can you ask that while knowing that I also want to get her back to me?" With a small chuckle, Lucien questioned Rowan. Hearing his question, Rowan raised his eyebrows and chuckled before shaking his head. Even though Lucien wanted to win Arabella back, it was not going to happen. Arabella is already in love with Rowan and he could feel it with the way her heart beat when he was around her.

"You will not get her, she's a loyal and faithful woman. You know it Lucien!" Rowan's words stunned Lucien. Watching Rowan for a while, he lowered his head and clenched his jaws and fists before nodding. Rowan knew that Lucien was hurt with everything that had happened and how he had become a fool to believe Milena despite everything in the world. And at the same time, he was suffering with his mistake.

"I will take care of her until she falls for me again"


Lucien's answer was dangerously honest. Rowan smiled looking at Lucien, he didn't feel anger or hatred towards Lucien because he was happy about Lucien's honest answer. Lucien wanted his mate back and he was going to do everything for it, and Rowan was not a stupid man to don't understand it. But Rowan agreed with Lucien because once he's away, Lucien would be the most valued one to protect Arabella since he was the alpha of the pack.

"Good luck with it but don't force her"


Rowan chuckled as he looked ahead at the pitch black forest but he could see the path with his wolf's eyes. While walking, Rowan suddenly stopped and looked at Lucien before grabbing Lucien from his arm. Rowan felt that something was not right and he felt that they needed to hide.

"Hide!" Rowan whispered and dragged Lucien with him away from the path they were walking. Standing a few feet away from the path, Rowan looked at Lucien's glowing blue eyes knowing that he was using his wolf's eyes. Both of their eyes are glowing but Rowan felt that it shouldn't be seen.

"What's up?" Lucien asked Rowan.

Shaking his head, Rowan slowly bent down and signaled Lucien to bend down too. According to his signal, Lucien did the thing he wanted. Then Rowan clenched his jaws and stared at the path as he heard the sound of footsteps. He didn't know who was coming and who was there but his heart clenched suddenly.

"Cover your damn eyes Lucien, they are glowing and anyone could see them" Whispering angrily, Rowan let out a warning. Then Lucien groaned and lowered his eyes as he waited for a while and covered them with his hands. If he removed his wolf's vision, he would not be able to see anything in this darkness so Lucien covered his eyes and slightly watched the path through his fingers.

"Fuck! What was that?" Lucien subconsciously asked as he turned to Rowan. Rowan looked at Lucien and shook his head. He was also confused with the thing he was seeing and he also didn't know what the hell it was. Shifting his gaze from Lucien, he again looked in front of him as he stared at the creature.

The creature was simply similar to a spider, but it had a difference as it had a woman's body as the body. The legs are just simply like a spider. Watching the creature for a while, Rowan clenched his jaws and lowered his head as he felt the parasite inside of his body was acting up again. He felt his body was trembling with the way the parasite started to suck his blood. Feeling the pain, Rowan's heart ached remembering that Arabella had to go through this for two damn years!

Raising his arm, Rowan placed it against his chest as he clutched his shirt. His wolf was dangerously strong always but at this point, he felt that his wolf was also getting weak with the pain and with the way the parasite sucked the blood. He endured it , he endured it, closing his eyes and focusing on his wolf. He made his wolf feel stronger and active. Soon, Rowan's ears were pierced by the sound of the creature.

"Rowan… What's wrong?"

He heard Lucien's voice and he shook his head. He didn't want to tell Lucien what was happening with him and at the same time, Rowan wanted to kill the damn parasite in his body as he completely felt that it had something to do with these creatures because every time this kind of creature is near, this parasite would go insane and started to suck the blood furiously.

"It saw us! Fuck!" hearing Lucien, Rowan opened his eyes and looked at the creature. The creature was coming towards them and he clenched his jaws as his wolf let out a howl from both pain and fury. So the creature felt his presence with the parasite in his body? Rowan thought and he extended his claws for a fight. He wanted nothing but to kill the creature in front of him.

"We have to fight!"

Rowan said in an emotionless tone. He sounded an alpha king as he was the alpha king. His words made a shiver-like unknown feeling run through Lucien's body. Every alpha in the world should listen to the alpha king and it was a rule which made the whole werewolf world,

Lucien's body became strong and he felt that his wolf was acting up for the king's words. Lucien had never felt this way before since he was the one to order everyone but today, everything has changed as Rowan ordered him. He couldn't go against his king's order and he subconsciously nodded at Rowan. Then he clenched his jaws and extended his claws. But suddenly, Rowan stopped him.

"You shouldn't attack from the front, you need to run away from here and attack it from behind after I attacked first '' Rowan said. Rowan had the royal blood of the Treral kingdom in his veins and as a king and a royal prince, he would never let his friend of a supporter be in danger.

If someone was going to be in danger, it would always be him and not anyone else. He protected and he cared about everything and everyone. Lucien nodded at him obediently and sighed before slowly getting up and walking away without making a sound and without letting the creature see his glowing eyes. After he left, Rowan took off his clothes and shifted into his wolf before growling and jumping in front of the creature.

His wolf was dominating and powerful, his growl could make anyone shiver from fear. Then the creature grunted and took his legs towards him. Rowan took a deep breath, his wolf was in pain as the parasite screwed him up while sucking his blood. But he ignored everything as he felt the urge to kill this creature in front of him. He needed to clear everything because these creatures are a deadly threat to this pack as they killed children and women.

Rowan growled again, and then he sped toward the creature and suddenly changed his direction before jumping onto the creature's neck and bit it hard. As he felt the creature's blood-like thing, his whole body shuddered with disgust but he ignored it. At the same time, Lucien's huge black wolf pounded onto the creature and started to bite the creature mercilessly.

Lucien's wolf was like a killer machine as his sharp teeth pierced the creature without a hint of mercy. As he did that, the creature cried from pain but soon, the creature threw Lucien's wolf away from it as it only focused on Rowan. The creature's target was not Lucien, it was Rowan and Rowan wanted to know why that was. He wanted to know if the parasite inside of his body was also this kind of creature.
