Died? How can he at least say something like that? Watching Rowan's face, Arabella sobbed. Her heart was shattered into pieces with what she got to know a few minutes ago. He's leaving. He was going to leave her here alone. How can she live alone now? How many days would she have to live alone? He's saying that maybe there will not be a coming back! But what about his child?

"You don't want this child to have a father Rowan?.. How can you just?"


Wiping her tears, she asked him. His eyes were red and he watched her for a while before moving closer to her. Arabella was both angry and hurt as she looked at him. Without letting him touch her, she just simply got up from the bed.

Her heart was aching, she didn't feel like treating Rowan like this but she was hurt beyond imagination. She couldn't understand how to live without him here and especially while she was pregnant. She remembered everything that the doctor said. She didn't have the strength to bear this child and the doctor asked Rowan to share his strength. Then what about it? Who's going to share strength with her when he is gone?

"I want! I just fucking want this Bella but what should I do? I need to go there too. Do you know that children are getting kill for nothing there and women have become sex slaves to them. My heart hurts whenever I think about it. Please, understand me!"


She looked at Rowan and bit her lower lip hard. She could understand the situation but she couldn't help it. She didn't want him to leave her.

"The child you're carrying is the next king so I have to give what he deserved to him. For that, I should do this." endless tears rolled down from her eyes and she shook her head not knowing how to face this. Placing her hands against her belly, she sobbed. The child in her belly is the next king of the Treral kingdom. No wonder why it hurts and hard to carry him but no matter what, she would give birth to this child.


"Can.. Can you at least stay with me… until I give birth? Please" she asked him. She knew that if his kingdom was in a situation like that, he cannot be with her until she gives birth because it will be months but she just wanted to ask him. She wanted to know if he could be with her. Looking at her for a while, Rowan smiled painfully. Then he lowered his head making Arabella feel his answer.

So he won't be there when she gives birth to their child? She couldn't describe the pain in her heart and she watched Rowan for a while. Taking a deep breath, she nodded. Even though she's hurt and sad about him leaving, she cannot stop him because he's going to save lives. When he said that children are getting killed, her heart ached.

She knew that the Treral kingdom was suppressed by vampires and she knew that vampires and taking women as sex slaves and hurt them without a limit but she never knew that they are killing children too. She didn't want innocent lives to suffer because of her selfishness. Maybe this is fate and she had to face it without trying to escape. Biting her lips for a while, Arabella walked towards Rowan and sighed.

"But you can't die… you need to come back to me. I don't want my child to not have a father Rowan" she muttered caressing his hair. He raised his head and looked at her with a painful smile on his face and then he sighed and nodded at her making her heart fill with both hurt and relief. She was relieved because at least he would come to her alive and he would try to survive no matter what happened to him.

"Rowan… I will come with you!" she suddenly said. She can go with him, she didn't have to be alone here if she could go with him. As she said, Rowan got up from the bed and shook his head strictly. Arabella sighed and lowered her head as he did that. He would never agree to take her there and she knew it.

"You can't come with me Bella. If I was ever defeated, they would kill my men and if they got to know about you and you're carrying my son, they would just do something to you that no one would ever think. They are fucking bastards when it comes to women. They are not killing women easily, they just make women suffer more than one could imagine. So no way! I can't take a risk"

His words were dangerously honest. She was not a stupid woman and she can understand what he meant by suffering. If vampires found that she was Rowan's woman, they would do hundreds of things to her. She would just simply get raped by countless vampires and she didn't want that. She needed to be careful and give birth to this child but when she remembered that he would not be there for her, her heart clenched and she couldn't help herself from crying.

"Alright… I will listen to you Rowan. But you need to come back to me no matter how many years you had to be there." she said cupping his face.

Rowan smiled at her and nodded. His eyes were filled with both love and hurt as he watched her. She felt that he also had no desire to leave her alone but he had no choice because his people were waiting to be free and waiting for his arrival.

"I will try my best to come back to you. Of course, I should come back to you because I need to see my son" Arabella smiled at him and rested her forehead against his chest and closed her eyes. As she closed her eyes, tears filled in them and she still couldn't believe the fact that he's leaving soon. She can't think about life once he is left here. This is his house and everything in here was his, so how would she be able to control herself without him?

She was helpless and hurt, she couldn't help but sigh thinking about everything. She has no idea when he would come back to her and how many years it will be. All she knew was that she had to live alone from now on. His absence will make her into a crazy woman and she knew it but she had to endure everything because she's pregnant. She should give birth to a healthy child.

"When are you leaving?" she asked him. She didn't look at him and she stayed resting on her forehead against his chest. Then he wrapped his arms around her and hugged her, resting his chin on her head. Stroking her back for a while, he sighed and spoke, making Arabella feel suffocating feelings.

"In six days."

Tears rolled down from her eyes and she wrapped her arms around his waist and hugged him back. So she would be able to feel this warmth only for six days? After that, she would not be able to feel him like this. As she thought about it, she felt that her heart was aching so she decided not to think about the future. She would just face the future without thinking about anything.

"I will come back okay? Once I'm back, you need to leave with me to my kingdom" he whispered, kissing her head. Arabella smiled and raised her head as she stared at his handsome face. Then she sighed and nodded at him. She would just go anywhere he asked her to. She's in love with him so dangerously so she would do everything he liked.

"I will be waiting for you" she muttered.

Then his eyes reddened and he clenched his jaws. After a while, he kissed her forehead and smiled at her with a small nod. Arabella smiled at him but deep inside, she was burning with pain and fear. She was scared about the future and she was scared that he couldn't come back to her.

"Let's go. You should eat more"

Rowan smiled at her and she nodded. Then walking out of the room, then entered downstairs. He led her into the dining room and pulled a chair for her. Then he kissed her head and walked into the kitchen before coming out with the soup he made. Arabella didn't have the appetite to eat but feeling the delicious smell of the food, she wanted to drink the whole damn soup.
