After taking a shower, Arabella changed into a nightdress and combed her long hair before walking out of the room. As she walked out of the room and went downstairs, her nose filled with the delicious smell of the food. She jogged into the kitchen and looked at Rowan who was cooking. She giggled and walked towards him before hugging him from behind with a cute giggle.

"I'm so hungry" she muttered, kissing his strong back. As she did that, Rowan chuckled. Then he turned to her and kissed her forehead before smiling at her. Seeing his smile, Arabella's heart skipped a beat and she pecked on his lips happily. Staring at his gorgeous emerald eyes, she looked behind him as she saw that he had cooked a nutritious soup.


Her mouth watered seeing it and she immediately moved away from him before grabbing a spoon. As she tried to put it into the soup, she was stopped by Rowan as he stared at her coldly making her bite her lip with guilt. She sighed and put the spoon away then pouted at him before wrapping her arms around his neck.

"It's not ready yet Bella, you can eat in a while. Be patient, ''

Arabella nodded at him and kissed his sharp jawline. Rowan gently smiled at her and kissed her face again. Then he stared at her for a while and lowered his head before pressing his lips against hers. Arabella smiled and accepted his kiss, letting him slide his tongue into her mouth. Soon their kiss became passionate.


Rowan picked her up and she wrapped her legs around his torso. Walking towards the countertop, he placed her on it and kissed her passionately. Arabella traveled her fingers through his silky hair as she moaned against his mouth. As she moaned, Rowan placed his hand against the back of her neck as he deepened the kiss.

"AH-AHHHH"


Suddenly, Arabella felt the sharp pain in her belly and she immediately broke the kiss and pushed him away. Tears filled in her eyes with the pain and she slowly looked at Rowan before biting her lips. She felt so upset with the pain and she couldn't help herself. She still couldn't understand why this kind of pain.

"Fuck! Your belly hurts?"

Rowan immediately picked her up and ran upstairs. Then he placed her on the bed and caressed her belly with a worried face. Seeing his face, Arabella smiled. She was just happy because Rowan was so caring towards her. He just simply loves her so much. As he caressed her belly, she raised her hand and placed it on his face.

"It's okay now… somewhat comfortable," she muttered. The pain somewhat eased with the way he caressed her belly but she still felt the pain. Rowan sighed and watched her face with a smile as he moved closer to her and pecked on her lips. Arabella was not afraid of the pain because of him. He was always there to comfort her and she knew that she would bear this pain with him next to her.

"I can go through this with you here." She smiled at him. As she said, suddenly, his face turned pale. He watched her for a while and forcefully smiled before lowering his head. Arabella felt upset seeing him and she felt he was hiding something. Taking a deep breath, she decided to ask him about everything.

"Rowan.. Please tell me what's on your mind. We came this far together even if it was such a short time so I will understand everything you have to say okay? Please don't depress yourself because of something" she said looking into his eyes. Then he smiled at her and sat on the bed before covering his face with his palms.

"I'm sorry Bella."

His words made her heart go numb. Her eyes subconsciously turned red and she parted her lips to talk. She didn't know the reason behind his words and she felt the pain of hearing him. She felt that she was going to get another heartbreak. But she didn't believe it, she won't believe that he would hurt her.

"What? Why? For what?" She asked him with a confused face. Then he stared at her for a while and smiled painfully making Arabella's heart fill with unknown emotions and feelings. Soon tears rolled down from her eyes and she felt the pain in her heart.

"Bella, I need to leave in a week. Have you heard about the Treral kingdom?" She was shocked. Leave? In a week? What did he even mean by leaving? She couldn't understand, she couldn't get the meaning of his words. She nodded at him and then shook her head. She knew about the Treral kingdom but what's the matter?

"Well, I should be the king there. I was the prince in there and you know everyone died. I survived but my people are still suffering and waiting for me to come and save them so I have to go there Bella. I should just get my crown back and do the justice to my people" Tears rolled down from her eyes and she stared at him. She was in dazed and she couldn't think about anything properly.

"Leaving?"

She forced her words out. She didn't want him to leave and she didn't want to be alone since she had no one here anymore. Her mother also treated her like that earlier and she was scared to be alone without Rowan. She needed him since she was pregnant but he's going to leave.

"What about me?.... How can I… live without you?" she asked him as she felt her heart was aching. Then he moved closer to her and caressed her face as her heart went numb with his reaction.

"I will leave someone here to protect you. Just be strong for me! Please"

His eyes were covered with tears as he spoke. Arabella shook her head and pushed him away before sitting up on the bed while sobbing.

"How? When will you come back?" she asked him.

"I don't know…. Maybe there will not be a coming back if I died."
