Arabella waited for Rowan with a nervousness filled heart. Lucien walked out of the room with Rowan telling that he needed to talk but she was upset and scared. She had no idea what Lucien would tell Rowan but at the same time, she just felt that something hurtful would happen soon. Letting out a deep sigh, she shook that thought away. How can there be something hurtful? She's already pregnant with Rowan's child and she's going to become a mother. That was the best thing in her whole life.

As she waited, after some time, Rowan walked inside the room. Seeing him, she smiled as he smiled back at her. Then he came to her and sat on the bed. Arabella watched his face and looked at the entrance of the room as she saw Lucien standing there looking at her. Watching Lucien for a while, she lowered her head and sighed before looking at Rowan who was looking at her.


"What's wrong?" She asked Rowan. Then he shook his head and kissed her forehead. As he did that, she smiled at him and sighed before resting her forehead against his strong shoulders. She stayed like that for a while as her heart was covered with complicated feelings and thoughts.

"Let's go home." Rowan whispered caressing her back. Arabella raised her head and looked at him. Then she lowered her head and placed her hands on her belly. She was happy, she was just so happy and at the same time, she felt weird. Ignoring her weird feelings, she sighed.

"I need to tell mom and brother. So after that we can go home" she said. Rowan nodded at her and again kissed her forehead. Arabella watched his face for a while and turned her head as she looked at Lucien who was looking at her with tears in his eyes but he lowered his head and walked away.


Arabella felt pity for him and at the same time she was curious what has happened to Lucien and why he's suddenly acting like this. Wasn't Milena his so-called lover and mate? She asked herself to watch the way Lucien was leaving. Her heart is covered with pity for herself remembering the past. She remembered the way Lucien chased her away, hurting her feelings every time she went to him.

No matter what Lucien said and no matter how hard he tries to get her back, she will never be with him again. The past experiences she had were enough. She was hurt beyond imagination and she was just simply broken. He hurt her intentionally, he gave the most painful things to her. He let her suffer and he let her watch him with another woman ignoring that they were together for years.


But now, he's telling her that they were together for years. Even if he told her that and even if he came to her telling so many things and reasons, she will never be able to be with him. She just didn't want to be with him anymore. The love she had for him was gone. Now she's in love with Rowan and she couldn't take her steps back. Lucien and she were never fated to be with each other and that's why the moon goddess made them separate even if they were mates. So now, there will be no going back.

"Can you give me ten minutes? I will go back and take clothes for you and a shirt for me"

Arabella smiled as Rowan said that and got up from the bed. Watching his face for a while, she smiled at him with a nod. Then he sighed and chuckled before pecking on her lips. After that, he turned and walked out of the room. After he left, Arabella slowly laid on the bed again and started to caress her belly.

She's pregnant now, she has to take care of herself. Just like what the doctor said, she will have to suffer with this pregnancy. Rowan is someone who has strong alpha blood in him. She didn't even know about it. But she felt that he was special and he was way too strong. If he was a normal werewolf he would never be able to fight against Lucien that day and especially she witnessed the way he killed those creatures easily that day when they were in the forest.

His wolf was gorgeous and looked so powerful and at the same time, his wolf held the aura of a wolf king so now she understands why she felt like that. Everything about Rowan was so powerful. Even if they were in the bed, he was just simply way too powerful and stronger.

Thinking about him, she sighed and closed her eyes as she felt that she was so sleepy. But she couldn't fall asleep because Rowan came.

"So fast.." Arabella giggled and said as he came to her closing the door behind him. Rowan watched her for a while and a smirk appeared on his face as he gave clothes to her. Seeing his smirk, Arabella knew that he was thinking about something dirty. He was always a pervert when it came to her.

"I am always fast… you have experienced" Arabella pouted and looked away from him not wanting to talk to him. He was just simply a pervert and alwasy thinking about sex. No matter how many times he did that, he would never be able to get satisfied. Thinking about that, Arabella suddenly looked at him with wide eyes.

"You won't be able to do it anymore. The doctor said '' she smiled at him evilly and uttered. Then Rowan stared at her with his gorgeous emerald orbs and chuckled before raising his hand and touching her face. His thumb caressed her lips and he stared at her lips before licking his lips seductively.

"That's why you will use your mouth." Arabella's heart skipped a beat and her heart covered with embarrassment as he said that. She slapped his hands away and frowned at him before grabbing her clothes. Then she heard him chuckling. He lowered his head and kissed her shoulders.

"Alright… don't get mad." Rowan kissed her head and helped her to get dressed. After she changed into her dress. He helped her to get down from the bed. Arabella sighed and carefully got up from the bed. She felt the fear, she was scared that something would happen to her baby if she acted without a care.

"You want me to carry you?" Rowan asked as he wrapped his arm around her waist and kissed her face. Arabella looked up at him and shook her head with a smile, she didn't want him to carry her. She wanted to walk slowly even if it took time for her to arrive at her house. She didn't want to let him do everything for her.

"No.. I can walk."

Kissing his sharp jawline, she muttered. Then Rowan nodded at her and slowly led her out of the room. She walked just like the way she used normally but she was somewhat careful with it. She would just protect her little baby with everything. She would be strong for her baby.

"Rowan… you cook for me tonight?" She suddenly asked him. Rowan looked at her face and chuckled as he nodded at her.

"Yes, I would." hugging his arm, she bit her lower lip while watching his handsome face. She felt both shy and happy at the same time seeing him. She never thought that she would come this far with him. She never expected he would be the father of the child that she would give birth to. Everything changed instantly.
