Lucien's heart was aching and he didn't know how to express his feelings. He looked at Arabella and he clenched his jaws as tears rolled down from his eyes. He had never felt this kind of helplessness. He had never felt this kind of heartbreak. He remembered everything but now, he's too late to have her back. She had simply gone too far, not letting him catch her anymore.

"You really… love him? But… we were together for years… Bella.. Please" he looked at her and muttered. His voice was filled with pain as he talked to her. He didn't want to let go of her, he just simply didn't want to give up on her. He needed her, he loved her and he just simply felt that he would die if he lost her.


He was at fault, he hurt her and he just simply threw her from his life but it all happened unknowingly, he didn't know what was happening with him and he just simply didn't feel that she was his face but now he feels it. But unfortunately, he could feel Rowan's strong smell from Arabella. And they were mated. She had become Rowan's mate as they marked each other. His heart felt someone clutching it tightly without a hint of gentleness but at the same time, he felt that he deserved that pain.

"Lucien… Can we stop this discussion? I just… I'm just so sorry… I can't come to you. We were together for years but didn't you change it all? Please… just let me be with him. I really love him and I'm honest. And I'm pregnant now, I don't want to think about these matters anymore. I need to have good mental health for my baby. So please.. I beg you!"

A shudder ran through Lucien's body and he looked at Arabella with painful eyes. Her words stabbed him mercilessly, he felt that he was about to die with the pain. The love in his heart was burning with her words. He had loved her, he just simply loved her honestly but their lives took an unexpected turn making them lose each other. And now, she's together with Rowan.


Her eyes showed love, she was not lying when she said that she loves Rowan. She loved Rowan and she had already made up her mind. She's pregnant…. With that fact, he took a deep breath and lowered his eyes as his mind recalled him how Arabella ran after him, telling that she loved him and she was his mate.

Everyday, she came to him and cried, asking him to be with her. She just simply begged him to be with her because she was his mate but at that time, he felt nothing, he felt that she was a fucking annoying woman. But now, he could feel the pain, he could feel every single pain that he caused her when he was with Milena. Raising his head, he looked at Arabella who was looking at Rowan.


Seeing her looking at Rowan, his lips slowly curled upwards to a painful smile. Now, she only had her eyes on Rowan and no one would ever be able to take Rowan's place in her eyes now. He sighed and clenched his jaws as he watched Arabella who was looking at Rowan. Then suddenly, something caught his attention as his heart skipped a beat with horror.

Blood spider lily……

Arabella has a blood spider lily on her neck where she was supposed to be marked by Rowan. Watching the mark on her neck for a while, he slowly turned and looked at Rowan who was standing aside looking at Arabella with a little smile playing on his lips. A smile which was filled with love and trust.

Rowan had marked Arabella and that was no secret but this mark on Arabella's neck… only a man with royal blood can make a mark with a design on a woman's neck. But how the hell did Rowan do that? He watched Rowan's strong and powerful aura as his heart covered so many things. Is he the long lost prince of the Treral kingdom? Lucien thought looking at Rowan and soon, Rowan's eyes fell on him.

Rowan stared at Lucien and raised his eyebrows. Seeing Rowan's face, Lucien again looked at Arabella's neck as he closed his eyes. So.. Rowan was the long lost prince of the Treral kingdom? And at the same time, he remembered the first time he saw Rowan. It was the ear that the Treral kingdom fell and everyone died from the vampires' hands. But the little prince was lost and no one could find him.

Taking a deep breath, he walked towards Rowan and looked at him. He wanted to talk, he just simply wanted to talk about everything with Rowan. Rowan was not a simple one and if vampires ever found out that he is here, it will be nothing but his death and endless torture to Arabella. Vampires would never kill a woman like Arabella with her beauty and great body, they would just simply hurt her, rape her and give her the most dangerous torture.

"Can we talk?" He asked Rowan. Watching his face for a while, Rowan looked at Arabella. Then within a second his eyes again fell on Lucien and he nodded. Then Lucien simply walked out of the hospital room. Walking towards the balcony of the window, he looked outside and then took a deep breath. Then he felt Rowan's presence behind him.

"Are you the prince of Treral kingdom?" he asked without looking back at Rowan. Then Rowan came and stood next to him. Lucien turned his face and looked at Rowan who was looking at the sky. Rowan's lips slowly curled upwards to a smile as he turned and looked at Lucien.

"Saw her mark?" Without replying to his question, Rowan asked him. Lucien sighed and nodded as he chuckled. How the hell he can be compared with the prince of Treral kingdom. That was impossible. No one can fight against royal blood. No wonder why Rowan was always strong and intelligent and at the same time, he was just so fucking powerful.

"Don't you feel that you're putting her into a mess Rowan?" Lucien asked. Then Rowan clenched his jaws and waited for a while. His eyes turned red and Lucien could clearly feel the untold pain inside of Rowan. He didn't know what Rowan was going through and what was happening with him but Lucien could see the pain and helplessness of his eyes.

"I need to leave Lucien… in a week. I have to leave her alone" Lucien's heart tightened hearing him. His eyes turned bloodshot and he watched Rowan's face before gritting his teeth angrily. Leave? Leave Arabella? Fuck.. how the hell is he going to leave Arabella?

"What? Are you fucking gonna leave her while she's pregnant?" Lucien asked Rowan as his eyes glowed with fury. Then Rowan let out a complicated sigh and nodded. How the hell is he going to leave Arabella? It was such a heartless thing to leave her when she was carrying his child. Lucien clenched his jaws and lowered his head thinking that Rowan must have a good reason for that.

"I can't be sure that I'll be back but I will try my best to come back. I have to save my people Lucien.. Hope you will understand it. They need me. And if I ever couldn't come back, just make Arabella give my son to the man called Edwin. At least, he would be the king if I couldn't!"
