"Arabella just fuck off or say the thing you have to say. Milena is my mate and I don't mind her knowing everything."

Lucien's mind repeated the words he said to Arabella years ago while she was coming after him as he heard her calling Rowan her mate. There was a crushing sensation in his chest and he stared at her eyes before clenching his jaws. Lucien couldn't feel the mate bond with Arabella completely but he just could feel some things but he knew that everything was broken.


"I need to talk. Just two of us" Lucien said, looking at her. As he said that, he looked at Arabella's exposed neck and collarbones. He saw the love bites of her collarbones. He could slightly see the mark of her neck but couldn't see it clearly because her hair was hanging through her shoulders while covering the mark.

Rowan has marked her. Lucien's heart was aching. He loved Arabella but now he is looking at her staying with another man because of his own stupidity. He watched Arabella's face completely ignoring Rowan. Rowan had warned him that Arabella was his now but Lucien just couldn't help himself but coming to see Arabella. He wanted to see her. It's been two years since he last looked at her with love.

"Lucien.. We have nothing to talk about. I'm sorry."


his heart tightened as he heard Arabella. He looked into her eyes and lowered his head. He didn't know what to do or how to explain to her that he loves her. His heart was filled with love for her just like their old days. Not knowing what to do, he again looked at her.

Seeing the way she was hugging Rowan's arm, he couldn't help but recall the way she used to hug his arm while they were walking everything through the forest. The lost memories of him were back and now they were killing him alive. He cursed himself for doing something like this and losing the girl he loved. Lucien took a deep breath and calmed himself down before speaking.


"Come with me. We are mates" finally he said looking into her eyes. Her eyes widened listening to him. Soon, they became red and she smiled at him before shaking her head. Her smile just simply made his heart go numb thinking that she's not the same Arabella as before. She had changed. But his heart knew that, it was not her who changed herself, it was him who made her change.

"You're two years late Lucien. I'm sorry. We are not mates anymore. My mate is Rowan and your mate is Milena. Please.. Leave.." she said looking into his eyes. Her words were just daggers to his heart. He didn't move his eyes from her gorgeous face, he watched her face before moving his eyes to Rowan.

Lucien saw the pure anger in Rowan's eyes. Seeing Rowan's fury filled emerald eyes, Lucien remembered the way he used to look at Rowan every time he came to see Arabella when they were just teenagers. He always yelled at Rowan for that so he stopped coming after Arabella and watched her from far away. But finally he got her as he wished.

"I'm going in"

his eyes again fell on Arabella as she said and turned to leave. He wanted to stop her and talked to her but it was such a useless thing knowing that Arabella would not talk to him anymore. He watched her leaving and then he clenched his jaws and looked at Rowan.

"It's so hard to see her with me right? Feel the pain? That's the same thing you caused her with that bitch. You're not getting her back Lucien.. Never… just give up" Rowan's words made Lucien's blood boil with both anger and pain. He stared into Rowan's eyes and clenched his fists. He didn't want to give up. Arabella loved him for years and there must be a little bit of love inside of her still.

He was sure that Arabella still loved him. Even though she's with Rowan, her heart and her wolf must be loving him because they are mates. Just like everyone mentioned, they are mates. So he didn't want to give up or lose his hopes. He just wanted to get her back. It was just not like snatching her from Rowan, he just wanted to make her come to him willingly.

"She loved me for years Rowan so she will still love me. So just let her choose her thing." Lucien uttered looking at Rowan. As he spoke a smirk appeared on Rowan's face and he stepped closer to Lucien without uttering a word. Then he spoke, making Lucien's heart clench with both anger and regret.

"I marked her, Lucien. I can feel her wolf and her feelings. I'm not lying to you. She loves me and day by day she's falling in love with me. I just wanted to tell you this, but I'm not telling you to lose your hope. Let's just try who will really get her at the end. We have more to go."

"You hurt her and throw her out of your life. The pain you caused her made her come to me. It was her who came to me, Lucien , so I gladly accepted her because I always loved her. I'm not gonna let her go now. But let's just try because the choice will always be in her hands. If she wants to come to you, I will let her leave."

Rowan said and smiled at Lucien before walking into the house closing the door behind him. Lucien stayed there like a frozen mountain and watched the closed door of the house as his mind echoed the word Rowan said. She's falling in love with him day by day. With those words in his head, he turned and walked away from the house. His eyes were red and his wolf was howling agony with what happened to them.

Lucien didn't have the heart to go to the pack house so he just simply went home. As soon as he entered the house. He saw Milena who was sitting on the sofa as if she was waiting for someone. Of course she was waiting for him. Seeing her, his heart filled with disgust. He didn't know when she came home last night because he just simply left the house after taking the ring he gave to Arabella with him.

"Lucien… where were you? I searched you everywhere" Milena got up from the sofa and came to him with an innocent smile. Lucien watched her and he wanted to laugh but more than that, he was just fucking disgusted by her. He remembered what he witnessed last night. It was just fucking disgusting and scary.

"Lucien… I need to talk to you!"

At the same time, Lucien heard his sister's voice. He turned and looked at her. Seeing Liliyah, his heart tightened. No matter what, Liliyah always tried to make him go to Arabella. He smiled at her painfully and walked to her ignoring Milena completely. Then he felt Milena was also following her.

"I only want to talk to him, not you. Your presence will not be wanted here!" Liliyah's angry voice echoed inside of the house. Lucien clenched his jaws because his sister was smarter than him. That's why she always hated Milena and her fake innocence. Without giving a damn about Milena, Lucien walked towards Liliyah and caressed her hair.

"Lucien…" then he heard Milena's broken voice. Clenching his jaws along with his muscles he turned and looked at Milena's fake tears filled eyes. Anger rocked inside of him remembering that because of this disgusting bitch, he had yelled at his sister countless times. He watched Milena's face and waited for a while.

"I'll talk to her and come. Go to the room" His voice was cold and heartless. He didn't want to yell at Milena and let her feel suspicious because he wanted to know why she was doing it and why she's here. It was obvious that she was a creature from the other dimension that is opening a door to the werewolf world.

"What's up?" he asked Liliyah as he went into her room walking away from Milena. Liliyah stared at him for a while and lowered her head. Lucien didn't know the reason behind her sudden actions but he waited for her to speak.

"I'm pregnant!"

Lucien's mind went blank hearing her. He stared at her face and slowly tears rolled down from her eyes. How? That's impossible because she was just eighteen years old!

"What happened? how?" he asked her. His voice was trembling.

"It was Tyler… he raped me after finding out that I was his mate. Then just rejected me"
