"Rowan.. Wake up! It's ten in the morning!"

Arabella walked into the room and looked at Rowan who was sleeping. He was not like this before, he always woke up early no matter what. She sighed and sat on the bed before turning him to her. As she turned him to her, she felt that he was burning. Arabella gasped. She looked at Rowan who was still closing his eyes but his eyebrows were twitching with pain. Arabella touched his forehead and then his neck as she felt that he was having fever.


"You're burning! What happened all of sudden" she caressed his face and made him lay on the bed comfortably. Then she watched him for a while and sighed. Her heart was aching, Rowan was always strong and healthy. She just can't believe what happened to him all of sudden.

While she was looking at him, he slowly opened his eyes and looked at her. Then a small smile appeared on his face making her heart beat so fast with both pain and love. She moved closer to him and kissed his forehead. He looked so weak and innocent. Not only that, his face was also turning pale.

"You have fever Rowan." she muttered. Then she watched him for a while and started to unbutton his shirt. Rowan groaned as she did that but ignoring him, she took off his shirt completely. Watching his sweating body for a while, she bit her lower lip and walked into the washroom. Grabbing two towels with a cold water basin, she came out of the washroom.


Walking towards the bed, she placed the water basin on the bedside table. Then she pulled the stool of the dressing table to her and sat on it near Rowan as she started to wipe his body with the wet towel. She felt so upset and unhappy to see him like that. She felt that something was wrong with him. Arabella's eyes reddened as she wiped his body but without looking at him, she continued what she was doing.

"You're crying?" she heard Rowan.


Arabella raised her head and looked at him for a while before shaking her head. She just didn't want him to know that she was upset, if he thought that she was upset he would get sick again. Smiling at him, she forced her tears back before starting to wipe his face and place a wet towel on his forehead.

"I'm not crying. I cooked breakfast. You need to eat Rowan." she pecked on his lips and muttered. As she pecked on his lips, he gripped her waist and pulled her to him. Arabella pressed her lips together. She couldn't believe that he was still horny after everything. She looked at him and sighed, not wanting him to do anything.

"Rowan… can't you think about anything else?" she asked him. Then he chuckled and gripped her butt before squeezing it. Arabella moaned as he did that. Aabella placed her hands against his chest and tried to get up from his body but Rowan just simply gripped her tightly without letting her move away.

"Do it and I'll be alright,"

Arabella slapped his face as soon as she heard him. He was not letting her sleep peacefully at night and he just simply fuck her until she was exhausted and every morning he's doing it too. And now he's asking her to do it while he has having high fever. Arabella didn't want to. She stared at his emerald eyes and shook her head.

"You need rest. Don't be a pervert. You did it last night making my legs go numb so you won't get it now!" she said angrily before pinching his waist and getting up from his body. Rowan groaned and looked at her with innocent eyes. She won't fall into his trap. Rowan was a man full of tricks when it comes to this. He always gets what he wants, acting pity in front of her but not now.

"You better tame your horny wolf Rowan. I'll go and take food" she warned him before leaving the room. Walking downstairs and entering the kitchen, she placed the food on a tray and again walked upstairs and entered the room. As soon as she entered the room, she didn't see Rowan. Her heart tightened. She looked around the room and placed the food tray on the bed.

Then she heard the sound of water splashing inside of the washroom. She bit her lower lip angrily. He's taking shower! She can't believe that Rowan is this stubborn. She waited for a while and stared at the door of the washroom before closing her eyes. She loved him, she's already in love with him. But he was just too ignorant as a child. If she didn't pay attention, she had no idea what he would do.

"Rowan! You're taking a cold shower right? It's not good. Why can't you just listen to me?" she said while knocking the door of the washroom. As she spoke, she didn't hear anything from him. Her heart filled with fear, the sound of water splashing continued but there was no response from him.

"Rowan?" she spoke again. With a beating heart, she immediately opened the door of the washroom and entered. She was scared, she was just scared thinking that he was in danger. As she entered the washroom, Rowan came to her and picked her up before laughing. Again he tricked her! Arabella hit his shoulders so hard with anger inside of her.

She was scared thinking that something was wrong but here he is playing with her. Before she could do anything he walked under the shower carrying her. Then turn on the warm water. Slamming her back against the cold tile wall, Rowan started to take off her clothes making Arbella grip his shoulders tightly not wanting to fall down.

"Where's Arabella?"

Arabella heard a familiar voice and she immediately got up from the sofa before walking towards Rowan. Then she slowly wrapped her arm around his before looking at the man who was standing at the door with a depressed look.

Arabella stared at Lucien and she felt nothing about him. It was true that she felt pity with the look he had but she didn't care about it. Raising her head, she looked at Rowan who was looking at Lucien as if he wanted to rip his head apart in the next second. Seeing Rowan's murderous expression, Arabella sighed and caressed his arm wanting to calm him. Then she moved her eyes and looked at Lucien who was staring at her neck.

"We need to talk bella… can you come for a while with me?" with a painful smile Lucien asked.

"It's okay.. You can tell anything here, he's my mate now. There's no secret between us" she muttered with an honest smile.
