"Rowan.. What the fuck? Don't tell me you are.."

Arabella's brother pushed Rowan against the wall and looked at him with wide eyes as he asked that. Rowan looked at his confused face and sighed not knowing how to answer him soon, he shook his head and rubbed his forehead. Even though Arabella didn't know about this, Areic knew. Looking at Areic's face, he clenched his jaws. He had no choice but to tell him the truth.


"Yes.." he uttered, looking into Areic's eyes. He didn't want to lie and especially to Arabella's brother. Areic watched him for a while and clenched his jaws, then he took a deep breath before punching hard across Rowan's face. Rowan didn't dodge his punch and he just stood there without doing anything.

As Areic punched Rowan across his face hard, Rowan's lips injured and blood rushed out of his lower lip. He smiled and wiped it before sighed and looked at Arabella's angry brother. Seeing how angry Areic was, Rowan couldn't help but smile apologetically. He knew that her brother, Areic must be angry after finding this.

"Why the fuck did you put her in this danger Rowan?" Areic's question made his heart clenched. He didn't put her in danger. It was the only way to cure her. How can it be a danger? He marked her and that's it. With a clumsy heart, he looked at Areci before parting his lips to speak. Then he spoke.


"She's not in danger," he said to Areic. As he said that a sneer appeared on Areic's face and he clenched his fists. It was obvious that he was furious about him marking Arabella but that was not something for Areic to think because Arabella also wanted him to mark her. She also marked him.

"You're the long lost prince of Treral kingdom. How could this even be possible, Rowan? You marked her and don't think this as a simple thing. You know there are so many of them still looking for you" Rowan's heart tightened hearing him. He clenched his jaws unknowingly and shook his head. No, he thought about everything before marking Arabella. He thought about everything and every little thing.


"It will not affect her. I'm going back in three months" Rowan said honestly. He didn't want to lie. Areic watched him for a while and took a few steps closer to him. Rowan watched his emotionless eyes and lowered his head not knowing what he would tell him next. Even though he had decided to leave after three months, it was so hard for him to make up his mind for it because he had no desire to leave Arabella here.

"You are going to leave her after three months? If you gonna fucking do the same thing to her, just stop this damn relationship of yours and let her come home" Areic said looking at him. Rowan's heart tightened, then he shook his head, he was not going to leave her forever, he would just come back after he was done with everything.

"I'm not gonna leave her, Areic. Even if I leave, I will come back. Don't look at me with the same eyes you used to look at Lucien. I'm not him and not even comparable." Rowan said with a serious tone. He will never be like Lucien and he just simply loved Arabella. Watching him for a while, Areic nodded at Rowan and rubbed his forehead. Then he spoke again.

"I don't know but don't do the same thing to her. You're not a simple man Rowan, I don't know what will happen in the future and I know that you are going back to win your kingdom but after everything, I hope you will not forget her." Rowan smiled at Areic. How can he just simply forget her after everything? It was impossible and she was his mate now. And he always wanted her and he now finally got her so there's no way for him to leave her.

"I will not leave her. Just take care of her until I come back. Please" he said. Areic watched him and lowered his head before nodding at rowan. Then as soon as they went silent, Arabella came and opened the door. Rowan looked at her face and saw that she was nervous. He sighed in relief seeing her nervousness. He was sure that she hadn't heard anything that they were talking about.

"Well, Areic.. You had breakfast? Wanna join us?" she asked, looking at Areic. Rowan moved his eyes and looked at Areic who was looking at Arabella. Then he smiled at her and shook his head. Then took a deep breath and walked towards her. Raising his arm, he caressed her hair as he spoke.

"I'm not hungry. I need to leave now Bella, I felt weird early in the morning. That's why I came here to see you. Take care of yourself" kissing her forehead, Areic said. Arabella watched his face for a while and then moved her eyes towards Rowan. Rowan smiled at her as she looked at him.

Then he saw she was looking at his lip. Staring at his wounded lip for a while, she looked at Areic and nodded with a smile. Then Areic left the house with a warning glare to Rowan. After he left, Rowan sighed and went into the house. As soon as he entered, Arabella walked towards him and looked at his lip. Then she sighed pressing her lips together. He knew that it was because of the wound.

"You guys fought?" she asked him. Rowan smiled and wrapped his arms around her waist as she asked it from him. She looked so worried. Lowering his head, he pressed his lips against hers as he pulled her into a kiss.

"Mmpmmh'' Arabella moaned and kissed him back. Slowly she wrapped her arms around his neck as their kiss became a passionate one. The taste of his blood spread through his mouth and he knew that Arabella was also tasting that. After some time, she pulled herself from him and looked at him with heavy breathings.

"What were you guys talking about?" she asked him. Rowan slowly tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and smiled at her. He was not going to tell her and he just can't tell her about these things yet. Shaking his head, he pecked on her lips with a smile on his face. He didn't like lying to her but he had to do it because he didn't want to break her heart.

"Nothing special. Just about us mating last night" he said casually. Staring at him for a while, she hummed and took his hand before walking towards the kitchen. Then he pulled a chair and sat on it as Arabella came with food. Placing food on the table, she walked into the kitchen again and washed her hands before coming towards him.

"Let's go out after this" he uttered looking at her. Arabella, looked at him and frowned. Then she suddenly smiled at him and nodded. Seeing her gorgeous smile, Rowan couldn't help but smile. His love for her increased every time he saw this gorgeous smile of hers. Simply amazing and lovely.

"Want to show everyone that you marked me?" Arabella asked him. A chuckle escaped from Rowan as he heard her. Of course he wanted to show the world that he marked her. Nodding at her, he started to eat. Then Arabella smiled at him and continued her food.

After they were done, Rowan asked her to get ready. While Arabella was getting ready, Rowan waited in the garden of his house. Then suddenly, he saw Milena who was coming towards his house. His eyes turned cold and he stared at her as she came towards him with a smile on her face. Watching her for a while, he turned to leave but he was stopped with her voice.

"Rowan.. Can I talk to you for a while?" she muttered. He turned back and looked at her shy face before letting out a sarcastic chuckle. Then he shook his head as he heard Arabella's footsteps coming through the staircase.

"Wait…" he said with a fake smile on his face. She immediately nodded at him with a smile.

Soon after, Arabella came and wrapped her arm around his arm while looking at the sandals she was wearing. Arabella didn't notice Milena who was standing, she was lowering her head.

"You bought this for me? When?" she raised her head and asked him. Rowan smiled at her and kissed her forehead, but before he could answer, Arabella's eyes fell on Milena. Rowan didn't miss the way Arabella's eyes turned cold as she looked at Milena.
