Arabella looked at the view beside her while having her meal. So beautiful. She has never been here before and she never knew there was something like this. She smiled looking at the forest that she could see. She could even see half of the dark forest from here. Watching it for a while, she moved her eyes and looked at Rowan who was having his meal calmly. Watching his handsome face for a while, she sighed.

"How did you know here?" she asked him. Wiping his mouth, he looked at her and smiled before looking out of the huge glass window beside her. Arabella didn't miss the way his jaws clenched as he looked at the view. Then watching it for a while, he looked at her and smiled.


"I always wanted to come here with you. So I found so many places" He chuckled and said. Arabella bit her lower lip and looked away from his eyes. She felt shy, she always felt shy whenever he mentioned something like this. Then instantly Arabella felt him touching her face, she raised her head up and looked at him as she saw he was smiling at her beautifully while caressing her cheek.

Her heart skipped a beat, she stared at his intimidating emerald eyes with a ridiculously beating heart. She didn't know why she's like this around him but she knew that she was slowly falling in love with him while Lucien was fading from her life. And that's what she wanted. She sighed and smiled at him. Then he took his hand back and watched her for a while before lowering his head.

He let out a deep complicated sigh, and rubbed his forehead as if he was stressed. Arabella's heart tightened seeing him. She knew that something was in his mind all the time. She knew that he was hiding something from her and he was always thinking about it but most importantly, she knew that it was all about her. Every time she smiled at him or every time he touched her, after they were done, he always fell into a deep thought with a depressed face.


It's been two weeks since she started to live with him, he was good in all ways but this thing made Arabella somewhat upset. She wanted to know why he was like that but at the same time, she didn't have the courage to question him about it so she stayed silent as if she didn't feel it. She sighed and shook her thoughts away, then lowered her head and continued her meal.

"You want to go somewhere else?" Suddenly, he asked. Arabella looked at him and waited for a while before nodding at him. Then Rowan smiled at her and finished his food as he waited for her. She wanted to go somewhere else, she just wanted to have fun with him tonight.


"Let's go watch fireflies," she muttered. Rowan stared at her for a while and took a deep breath before nodding at her with a smile. He always smiled at her and she loved the way he smiled. His smile was simply beautiful and filled with both love and affection that he held for her. She didn't mind even if he didn't talk to her, all she wanted to see was his smile.

"Alright, finish your food" she nodded at him and immediately finished her food. Then he got up from the chair and came to her as he gave her his hand. Taking his hand, she smiled at him and got up from the chair but her smile froze seeing Lucien who was looking at her while Milena was next to him wrapping her arm around his.

Seeing Lucien, she didn't feel hurt like before. She watched him for a while and looked at Rowan who was already looking at Lucien. Letting out a deep sigh, she wrapped her arm around Rowan's arm. She has nothing to do with Lucien and she didn't feel love when she saw him. Things had changed in a proper way. Her feelings for Lucien were slowly fading away while the feelings about Rowan grew heavier day by day.

"Let's go Rowan," she looked at him and muttered. Lowering his head, Rowan looked at her before nodding at her with a smile on his face. Then he walked towards the entrance of the hall. To go out of the hall, they had to walk past both Milena and Lucien. Arabella lowered her head and walked but suddenly hearing Milena's voice, both Rowan and Arabella stopped.

"Arabella… never expected to see you here" she looked at Milena's fake smile and scoffed. What a fake woman. She didn't want to see her and talk to her but why does she have to slip away every time she saw her with Lucien. Arabella and Lucien were already separated and there was no way for them to be together.

"Well, Rowan took me here for a dinner date." she looked into Milena's eyes and said with a small proud smile on her face. Swiftly, Milena's eyes fell on Rowan. She looked at Rowan for a while before looking at Arabella again, faking the smile.

"It's good, since you were single for a long time. Having a male friend must be so happy for you" Arabella's heart tightened hearing her. It was obvious that Milena wanted to hurt her by remembering her about the past two years. If it was not because of her, she would still have Lucien with her but now, but now she doesn't have the desire to be with Lucien anymore.

"Friend? No way. We are dating. I'm already living with him." Arabella said with a smile and then looked at Rowan before kissing his cheek. She knew Rowan was shocked because of her actions but she didn't mind because they had kissed so many times and they had done so many things together.

Milena kept looking at Rowan. Arabella didn't miss the way her eyes fell on Rowan and the way she looked at Rowan's head to toe. Anger filled inside of her, she clenched her fists and watched Milena's face. She was looking at Rowan as if she wanted to snatch him away from her too. She hated it. One was already enough and if Milena dares to come closer to Rowan and do the same thing she did to Lucien, Arabella would just rip her head away. She hated the way Milena looked at Rowan.

"Oh… really? Well, then you both can come to our wedding together." Milena said. Arabella closed her eyes and waited for a while. Her wolf didn't howl from pain and sadness, just like her, her wolf was also forgetting her mate. She was really happy, she was happy and there were no words to describe that happiness.

"Congratulations. We will be there. Right Rowan?" she looked up at Rowan and asked. Then he lowered his head and kissed her forehead before nodding at her. Then she looked at Lucien who was looking at her with hurt filled eyes. She has nothing to do with him, she doesn't mind him getting married to Milena anymore.

"We need to leave. Have a good night" Arabella smiled and walked away with Rowan. Her heart was covered with happiness, she couldn't help but feel happy because Lucien was not affecting her emotions anymore. She was somewhat hurt and she didn't want to hide it but she was not as hurt as she always was.

"Don't mind him getting married?" Entering the elevator, Rowan asked her. Arabella looked at Rowan's fear filled and upset face for a while and moved closer to him before wrapping her hand around his neck. She knew he was thinking that she still had feelings for Lucien and she was using him to forget Lucien but that was totally wrong.

"Who cares? I don't want him anymore. Once my feelings are gone, there will be no coming back" she muttered looking into his eyes. Rowan watched her for a while and a smile appeared on his face. Soon he slammed her against the corner of the elevator before crashing his lips against hers.
