"Bella… wake up.."

She was awakened by a familiar voice. When will she have a peaceful sleep? She sighed and slowly opened her eyes as she met with a pair of emerald eyes. Her heart skipped a beat seeing them. She immediately sat up on the bed and looked at Rowan who was sitting on her bed with a smile on his face.


"What are you doing here?" she asked him. Then he looked around her room and sighed before tucking a hair strand behind her ear. She subconsciously grabbed him from his arm and watched his face for a while before letting out a deep sigh.

"Rowan.. What's wrong?" she asked him. Then he simply shook his head and moved closer to her before wrapping his arm around her waist.

"Let's watch the sunrise together. You want to go?" he whispered looking at her. Watch the sunrise together? she bit her lower lip and sighed. It's almost dawn right? She thought. then


she stared at his emerald eyes, she just didn't know what to say to him. Didn't they decide to keep their distance from each other? She asked herself.

"I know your answer but get dressed and come with me. Don't be lazy" he said as he got up from the bed. She couldn't help but smile seeing him. How can he even come to her room and order her like this? She sighed. Looking at him, she suddenly remembered Lucien. He also came to her room but just hurt her and left.


No! You shouldn't think about him Arabella, just move on even if it was so hard. You don't need a man like him and you just found that he loved Milena more than anything. Arabella spoke to herself. Lucien was deeply in love with Milena and she just found that so she didn't want to go in the middle of them anymore.

"Okay.." she sighed. Then got down from the bed and looked at Rowan's satisfied smile and rolled her eyes before walking into the dressing room.

She took off her nightgown and changed into a short and comfortable denim skirt. Then she wore a black skinny top and a grey cardigan. After she was done, she tied her hair to a messy bun and walked out of the dressing room as she saw Rowan was looking at the photo on the bedside table. It was a photo of her when she was a kid.

"So cute, isn't she?" Arabella walked towards him with a smile while praising her childhood. A smile appeared on his face and he looked at her before nodding his head. Of course, she looked so fucking cute when she was a kid.

"Yeah, so cute," he replied before taking her hand. Arabella giggled hearing him and gladly accepted his touch. She looked up at him and sighed. Then she thought about how to leave now because she can't leave by the main door.

"How are we going to leave now?" she asked, looking at Rowan. She really didn't know what's on his mind and how he entered the room. But even if she didn't know she guessed that he had climbed from the balcony.

"Let me carry you!" he moved closer to her and whispered against her ear seductively. Arabella blushed hearing him, she lowered her head and bit her lower lip. Then suddenly, Rowan picked her up and looked at her.

"What are you doing?" wrapping her hands around his neck, she asked not knowing what to do. Then he smiled at her and playfully winked.

"Taking you out of the house without waking up your damn brother"

Arabella forced her laugh back so hard. She buried her face against Rowan's neck and sighed not knowing how to react to what he said. He was just treating her brother as an enemy. Her brother didn't have any objection to her being with Rowan. He just wanted her to move on from Lucien and have a happy life.

"Let's go" he chuckled and said as he simply walked out of her room. Arabella was shocked! Is he taking her through the living room? She asked herself and looked at Rowan's confident face before pinching his shoulder tightly.

"What are you going to do? You're crazy Rowan?" she whispered angrily. He said nothing but smiled at her with a simple nod. Then he took her out of the house from the kitchen as if it was his house. She sighed as they came out of the house.

Then he gently placed her on the ground and took her hand as he intertwined their fingers. Arabella looked at their hands and a small smile appeared on her face. She remembered the time, she used to intertwine her fingers with Lucien but now everything was gone. Even though she didn't want to be with him again, her heart failed to forget the past.

"Rowan.. Is it okay for me to move to your house?" she suddenly asked.

Then Rowan's shocked eyes fell on her. He stared at her for a while and a small smile appeared on his face with a little blush. Arabella smiled seeing him, he was a matured man but looked at him. He's blushing.

"You can come anytime you want," he muttered. Arabella nodded at him and smiled brightly at him before standing on her toes and kissing on his jaw. She was happy, she was trying to be with Rowan until she died.

She wanted to be loved by someone and she knew the dangerous fact that it will never be Lucien so she wanted to be with Rowan knowing that he loves her so much. Even though she knew the thing she was doing was unfair and selfish to Rowan, she couldn't help it. She loved the way he cared about her and she loved the way he looked at her with affection.

He smiled at her and walked into the forest with her. She didn't let go of his hand, she was just gripping his hand tightly. As they walked for a while, Rowan stopped at a place where they had to climb to a little mountain.

"You want me to carry you?" he asked, looking at her. Then she proudly shook her head before jogging towards the mountain.

"You want me to carry you Rowan?" raising her eyebrows, she eyed him and asked. Then Rowan chuckled and nodded as he raised his arms telling her to carry him. Arabella groaned and hit his chest playfully.

"You're annoying!" she pouted and wrapped her arm around his arm. He watched her for a while with a smile and sighed before climbing the little mountain. As they climbed, Arabella sat on it and patted the ground next to her asking Rowan to sit next to her.

"It will take some hours. If you want to sleep, you can sleep. I'll wake you up when the time is ready" sitting next to her, Rowan uttered looking up at the sky. But Arabella wasn't sleepy and she didn't want to sleep.

"No. I'll stay awake" wrapping her arm around his strong muscular arm, she rested her head against his shoulder as she looked at the sky. She let out a deep sigh, and watched the still dark sky.

Her mind ran everywhere with memories and experiences she had with someone. She wanted to be like this with Lucien but things had changed and Lucien had long gone from her life. No one can promise tomorrow, people who are in her life today can leave tomorrow. She had experienced it and she knew it more than anyone.

"I will not leave you like him" her heart skipped a beat, she looked at Rowan and watched his face. He just said the thing she was thinking about, she wondered if he could read her mind. Watching his face for a while, she again looked at the sky and smiled at him.

"But I will. You know it Rowan"

Her words were dangerously honest. She didn't mean that she will leave him but she meant that she will leave the whole world soon because of the thing which was happening with her body.
