"What? No… please.. Let me go, Lucien." Arabella cried and struggled wanting to break free from his grip but she failed because she couldn't even compare with his strength. He was like an insane animal, his eyes were filled with fury and danger.

"Don't… let me go" she started to hit him helplessly, she couldn't even shout because he was warning her not to shout with his anger filled eyes. Once she shouted, he would just hurt her without a limit and she was not ready to bear that pain.


"I'm fucking you, until you give birth to my child. I need to make Milena a mother"

Arabella stopped struggling, her mind went blank hearing him. She did nothing but stare at his blue orbs once she loved the most. She always loved his eyes because they were gorgeous and at the same time they held unconditional love for her but now that love was nowhere to be found. Her heart ached, he wanted her to give birth to a child because he wanted to make Milena a mother.

Tears filled in her eyes as they slowly rolled down, then she lowered her eyes and stared out of the window in her room. She never thought this kind of thing will happen between them, is this how much he loves Milena? She asked herself. Is it even a question? It was obvious that he loves her more than he ever loved Arabella.


"I can't give birth to children, Lucien. Even if I could, I would never give birth to a child just to let him call another outside woman 'mother'"

"So don't touch me and let me go. Why don't you ask her to give birth instead of me? She's your so-called mate, isn't she?"


"If you have sex with me here, she will get so hurt. So go to her! Don't ever come to me and we are done!" using her all strength, she pushed him away and sat up on the bed. She could push him away just because he had loosened his hands he was gripping her.

"Leave! You'll never get what you want from me again. You heartlessly threw me away from your life Lucien and I won't come back to you again. I tried for two years. You just simply forgot everything that happened between us after finding her but let me tell you for one last time! She's not your mate, I am!"

"Now please leave before I call my brother! He won't like to see you here like this" her voice was stern, after hearing why he wanted her to give birth to a child. She lost her sanity and anger took over her.

She will never give birth to a child just to let his fake mate raise the child, then what about her? Isn't it so unfair to her? How could he become so selfish like this? She couldn't understand what kind of man he is and how dangerously he had changed. He was not the same Lucien once she loved. The old Lucien was gone and now replaced with a heartless one.

"Heh? My mate? Still not done with that fucking lie?" grabbing her from her hair, he heartlessly smirked at her. Arabella's eyebrows twitched because of the pain but she endured it.

"You're fucking lying to me Arabella. I loved you for years and you're nothing but a bitch! Still telling me that I'm your mate? Do you even have a way to prove it? Tsk.. I know you are jealous of Milena because she's my mate."

"I'm glad that she came into my life before I got married to a slut like you!"

His words were daggers that aimed her heart straightly. She was stabbed by his words ruthlessly. Tears were rolling down from her eyes and she prayed to the moon goddess asking if she could end her life at this time because she was hurt more than anything. She still loved him, she wanted to move on slowly but she couldn't forget their past.

"When will you stop hurting me Lucien? It's so tiring." she sobbed. She had nothing to do but cry asking him to stop hurting her. She didn't want him to hurt her. He was the man she loved the most and she can't accept the fact that he's treating her like this.

"Why do you always call me a slut, whore and bitch? What have I ever done to you? Are you the same boy who always loved me telling me that you would never leave me or hurt me?" she asked.

Then he slowly loosened the grip he had on her hair and let go of her seeing her tears. His eyes turned red, he watched her for a while and lowered his head. Arabella stared at him and wiped her tears, she didn't want to go again. She will never be with him again even if he acknowledges her as his mate.

The bond between them and the relationship between them were already broken. Even though she still loves him, she will not be with him. He cannot change the fact again and she had already made up her mind to let go of him and let him be with Milena. After trying for two years, she gained nothing but pain so it was time for her to give up and she gave up on him already.

"Everything is gone now, Lucien. Let's just stop this craze. You have your life and I have my life. I'm not jealous of Milena, Lucien. I was always hurt every time I saw you with her but there was no jealousy. You can be with her and I have no objection to that but I beg you, just please let me live my last time peacefully. Please" she spoke in a low voice as she looked into his blue eyes. His eyes were red and he was staring at her without telling anything.

"Last time?" he questioned her. Her heart tightened, she forcefully smiled at him and shook her head without telling anything. She was going to die and it was okay because she wouldn't mind. She tried to be loved by him before dying but now it's not working so she decided to give up and think about her life instead of others.

"Can you please leave? Please don't do this to me again. I really have no ability to give birth to a child, Lucien. I'm sorry" she smiled at him. He stared at her with complicated eyes and got off the bed. Grabbing his shirt, he wore it without looking away from her.

She was glad because he listened to her and decided to leave. Letting out a deep sigh, she wiped her tears and looked at him with a smile. She wanted to give him her final goodbye along with the feelings she has for him. Because even if they were mates, they were not meant to be with each other.

"You're going to be with Rowan?" he asked her. She looked at him with wide eyes because of his sudden question. It has nothing to do with him right? He has Milena so he shouldn't think about her right? She sighed and lowered her head instead of answering him.

It was a hard question for her. Is she really going to be with Rowan? Remembering Rowan's face when she said that, her heart ached. He helped her every time. He asked her to think about it before starting a relationship but she still didn't know what to do and she knows the fact that she's going to die soon, so she was afraid that she would make him suffer after her death.

"I don't know.. You don't have to worry about it." telling that to Lucien, she laid on the bed and covered herself with the quilt as she closed her eyes to sleep. After more than ten minutes, she finally heard Lucien leaving. Before leaving, he just simply stared at her for a long time.

After he left, Arabella opened her eyes which were filled with tears and covered her mouth with both palms and started to sob silently. She was hurt beyond imagination, she was helpless and she was not feeling good. Her heart was aching, she said those things to him but her heart was just simply not ready to let go of the man she loved the most. She was not ready to see him with another woman because he was hers, he was her man ever since they saw each other.

They were fated to be together. Everyone knew that they would be mates but look at the thing which had happened. So hurtful, and he was calling another woman mate!
