"Mom, why did you go to her place? What's wrong with you two? Why can't you understand the fact that she's not my fucking mate?"

Lucien was furious after finding that his mother and sister went to Arabella's house. Without letting Milena hear anything, he took his mother and sister out of the house as he asked them. His mind was a mess and he didn't understand why his mother couldn't accept Milena even after two years! And also his sister, she's still calling Arabella as her sister-in-law. Because of them, Milena gets hurt everyday and he didn't like that.


"She's your mate Lucien! A witch will never be wrong, especially a witch who had both werewolf and vampire blood in her" his mother snarled.

Hearing her, Lucien's heart tightened. He knew that a witch had swore, both Arabella and him would be mates when they were young but that witch was wrong because Arabella was not his mate. Milena was! He watched his mother's face and lowered his head. He didn't know how to get rid of this matter and how to explain that Arabella meant nothing to him.

"Mom! He will understand it soon. He had already lost her, there's no need to talk to him about anything! Just let him be with his fake bitch."


"He will regret everything one day and he will never have his true mate! I'm glad that Arabella moved on! She also has her life, just like she mentioned. No need to talk to him mom, let's just go in"

Lucien's wolf let out a whimper hearing his sister's words. Lucien couldn't understand what she meant but he knew one thing and it was that his own sister was waiting for him to suffer and regret his life. He looked at her for a while and clenched his jaws, everything was because of Arabella.


"Not me! You guys will regret treating Milena like this. She's my mate, she's innocent but yet you guys act as if she was a stranger and talk about Arabella every time. I love Milena and I'm marrying her! So don't ever talk with me about Arabella'' he said angrily.

Then he watched his mother's and sister's face for a while before going into the house. He was furious about everything, they didn't have to go to Arabella's place and they just didn't have to treat Milena like that. She was living with them in their house but she was lonely. No one talks to her if he is not at home. His heart tightened with the thought of Milena spending her time alone.

Entering the room, he saw Milena was sitting on the bed lowering her head. He walked towards her and sighed as he sat next to her. Then he looked at her, and wrapped his arm around her waist pulling her to him.

"Be honest with me Lucien, do you still have feelings for her?"

His heartbeat increased with guilt, he looked at her and watched her face for a while. Does he really have feelings for Arabella? He didn't want to see her with Rowan and that's the truth but that doesn't mean he still has feelings for her. Wiping the tears on her face, he shook his head, then smiled at her. She was his everything, not Arabella. So it was obvious that he didn't have feelings for Arabella anymore.

"I don't have Milena, I don't have feelings for her anymore, trust me" he kissed her forehead and uttered. She watched his face for a while and smiled as she nodded. Wrapping her arms around him she buried her face against his chest. He sighed and hugged her back as he stroked her hair. Even if he was physically with Milena, his mind was with Arabella. He couldn't understand what his sister meant by that Arabella had moved on.

Letting out a deep and complicated sigh, he kissed Milena's head and shook the thoughts of Arabella out of his mind. Suddenly, Lucien's mind was suppressed by Rowan's and Arabella's images. His mind started to show him the way she was wearing Rowan's shirt. They just looked so close to each other. And the most hateful thing was that Arabella and Rowan made a good match as a couple. He saw them together! Rowan's strength matched with Arabella's delicateness and beauty. He hated it! He hated to see them together so fucking much.

"What are you thinking, Lucien?"

Hearing Milena's voice, he was pulled back from his thoughts. He lowered his head and looked at her as he saw she was looking up at him while resting her chin on his chest. He chuckled seeing her and caressed her face lovingly.

"Nothing," he muttered and kissed her forehead. Then he got up from the bed and looked at Milena with a smile.

"I need to go now, Milena, I have so many things to do about the matter of those creatures. Stay here and sleep okay?" he said looking at her.

Suddenly, he saw the way her face turned weird. She was somewhat strange after hearing him. Watching her face, he felt there was something he didn't know but he didn't want to ask it from her. He had guessed it, every time he mentioned her about the creatures, her face went pale as if she was hiding something from him.

"Is there anything you need to tell me Milena?" he asked her. Then she looked at him and stood up from the bed with an innocent smile. Shaking her head, she moved closer to him and pecked on his lips.

"Take care of yourself Lucien. I love you" she muttered and smiled at him.

Suddenly, his heart tightened. Hearing her saying those three words, his mind started to let him hear the same words but the voice was changed.

'I love you so much Lucien, take care of yourself.' his mind was repeating the voice. He felt his head was hurting but without letting Milena feel his change, he just smiled at her and walked out of the room without waiting for a second.

He immediately got out of his house and walked towards the forest, clutching his head tightly he bent down not knowing how to endure the pain inside of his head. He was both helpless and hurt. His body began to tremble with the face of Arabella in his mind. She was smiling and looking at him wearing a red rose beside her ear.

"Urghh…." a painful groan escaped from him as he remembered her and how gorgeous she was.

His mind was like a bad recorder who was repeating Arabella's voice along with her pictures. Her smiling face and her cuteness, his mind was filled with her. Soon everything darkened as her smiling face faded away from his mind but soon it was replaced with her pain and sadness filled face. She was crying and begging him not to leave her.

But he was heartless, and he just left her alone holding Milena's hand. He saw the way Arabella watched them leaving and lowered her head with a painful smile before turning and walking towards Rowan who welcomed her with a lovely smile on his face.

He kissed her forehead and wrapped his arm around her waist, then he took her with him in a different way where Lucien could not find. Arabella didn't look back at him, she just left with Rowan happily. She was smiling at him and she looked so happy to be with Rowan.

Lucien's eyes snapped open, he let out heavy breaths and looked everywhere as he found he was laying on the ground in the middle of the forest. He rubbed his forehead and the pain was already gone. He sighed and got up from the ground not knowing when he fainted.

He fainted without even knowing, he saw Arabella's pictures because he fainted. He let out a complicated sigh and walked away. Not knowing where he was walking, he just walked in daze. Then he sighed and looked where he came as he found that he was in front of Arabella's house.
