"Bella, let me take you home."

Rowan came and said as he loosened Arabella's tied hair. Then she looked at him and smiled, she didn't know why but he always loosened her hair if she had tied it. Playing with her hair, he looked at her and smiled playfully.


"Why are you so obsessed with my hair?" hitting his arm, she asked. Then Rowan watched her for a while and chuckled before shaking his head.

"Pretty and fragrant" smelling her hair, he replied. Arabella couldn't help but smile because of his dumb reason. Then she sighed and nodded at him. She needed to go home quickly because she was out for a day and also for one night.

"I'll get ready and come." Arabella said as she walked upstairs. Then she quickly changed into her clothes she was wearing yesterday and came out of the room as she looked at Rowan who was already wearing a shirt. Looking at him, she smiled.


"You sure you don't want me to cook breakfast for you?" he asked her again.

His voice was doubtful, Arabella shook her head and walked towards him with a smile. Then she sighed.


"You can have breakfast with us when we get home," she said, walking towards the door and opening it. Then he sighed and followed her as they walked out of the house and entered the road as they walked holding their hands.

"Well, Rowan. Why are you living alone? I've never seen your parents ever since we were kids" Arabella asked looking at him.

Then he immediately looked at her with strange eyes and watched her before letting out a forceful smile. Slowly she felt that the grip she had with Rowan was getting tight. Moving his gaze from her, he looked at the road and sighed before answering her question.

"They died!" he answered.

His answer made her heart tightened. She didn't mean to hurt him by asking about his private life. She moved her eyes from him and sighed helplessly. Then smiled and looked up at him again.

"It's okay Rowan, don't get sad now, I'm sorry for asking. I didn't know" she said looking at him. Then he lowered his head and looked at her with a small smile on his face and then nodded.

As they went home, Arabella entered the house with Rowan. As soon as she entered, she saw that both Lucien's mother and sister were there. She looked at them for a while and then looked at her brother and mother who were looking at her and Rowan with wide eyes.

She didn't know why his mother and sister were there but seeing them, she really felt uncomfortable.

"I'll come another day," she heard Rowan as he pulled his hand from her.

She immediately looked at him and shook her head, then her hand subconsciously moved and held his hand again as she smiled at him.

"It's okay, have breakfast and go." she said.

Then he moved his eyes and looked at everyone who presented there as he looked at her again and smiled with a small nod. Then Arabella smiled and looked at her brother as he sighed and came towards them.

"You were with him all day?" he asked. Arabella bit her lower lip and nodded. Then she looked at Lucien's mother's confused look and his sister's doubtful look. She sighed, she knew they didn't like her answer but she had nothing to do with it because she was no longer with Lucien.

"Alright, let's have breakfast. Come Rowan" Arabella's mother said, wanting to make the tension around them normal. Then Arabella followed her mother without letting go of his hand.

"Well, they are here to see you Bella" Arabella's mother said while having the breakfast. Then she looked at Lucien's mother and smiled as she smiled at his sister too. Her heart was aching remembering the things Lucien said to her last night. She was hurt, and she didn't know how to forget those words.

"Bella, I need to talk about Lucien with you. I know things are hard but I believe that you're his mate. Can you please stop him from marrying Milena? I really don't trust her and I feel like she was doing something to Lucien"

Hearing his mother's words, she lowered her head and slowly held Rowan's arm under the table. Her heart was aching and she didn't know how to face this situation. How can she stop him while he's deeply in love with Milena? He loves her more than anything. Arabella was giving up, she was done getting hurt. She endured for two years but not anymore after how he talked to her last night. He called her whore and slut..

"I'm sorry, me and him are done. I gave up on him. I tried for two years and you all know it but I gained nothing but hurt. Yesterday night he showed me how he thinks about me and what I was to him."

"So please, I don't want to do this anymore. I'm making up my mind. Just let him be with his Milena and from now on what happens to him has nothing to do with me. Even if he broke up with me two years ago, I didn't say that I broke up with him. So I'm telling you now, I also broke up with him and moved on."

"I will never be with him again in the future even if he begs me to. I'm sorry"

Everyone who presented there was shocked hearing her, they couldn't believe their ears. They wondered that Arabella was the same girl who cried and ran after Lucien begging him to be with her and telling that she was his mate. Lucien's mother's eyes turned red hearing her. She didn't want to believe the fact that Arabella was moving on from Lucien.

"Is it because you're with him?" hearing Lucien's sister's words, Arabella looked at her and smiled. Arabella clearly saw how angry she looked as she watched both Rowan and her.

"Can't I be with him?" Arabella's question made Lucien's sister's jaws clenched along with her fists. She knew that Lucien's sister was not angry at her, she was just angry at her own brother.

"If your brother can leave me and be with a woman no one ever knew and suddenly showed up from nowhere, why can't I be with Rowan? I'm so sorry to tell you but I won't be there for your brother anymore." she replied. She really didn't want to get hurt anymore. She was done with every pain and insult.

The words Lucien said to her last night were more than enough for her to move on, she tried, she just tried for two years. She wanted to prove him the truth that she was his mate but nothing worked because he was obsessed with Milena.

"What happened between you two yesterday?" his mother asked her. Then she looked at Rowan who had an emotionless face all the time. He was not looking at anyone, his eyes were lowered but he was paying attention to everything.

"Ask it from him. I don't want to talk about him anymore. I'm really sorry. I really need to forget him so please, don't force me to be with him and run after him like I did for two years" her eyes turned moist as she spoke. She was really tired of everything.

She didn't know how many days she would be able to live, she was not sure about her life with the current situation of the parasite inside of her. So she just wanted to spend her short life peacefully without getting hurt. She just wanted to give herself love and care, she wanted to be with someone who loves her.

She was ready to forget Lucien, even if she tried she couldn't do it yet but she's completely going to do it when he marked Milena. Him marking Milena means their mate bond was completely breaking without a trace so she was waiting.

After their bond broke, she would not feel anything about him and she would not get hurt whenever he had sex with Milena. So she was really happy with the thought of her getting free from the pain she was always scared of.

"I'm sorry Arabella." she smiled at Lucien's mother and nodded. She saw the defeated look on her face but she didn't want to comfort her because she was hurt more than anyone but she never wanted another one to comfort her.
