Rey's laughter echoed, filling the entire not-so-large room.
"Want one more, sweetheart? Hmm?"
Luana's smile briefly broadened, followed by an even deeper blush. "Stop for a moment, Rey. My stomach feels cramped."
Rey hurriedly pulled up the zipper of his pants, now very properly dressed.
"Are you sick?" He was behind Luana a few seconds later, holding his wife's shoulders in a gentle grip. "Shall we go to the doctor?"
Luana shook her head. "No need, I'm fine," she denied. "I just feel...."
Their gazes met, very close.
"Feel what?"
Luana blushed again. Signaling Rey to look down, Luana brought her lips to the man's ear. "Feeling that you... are too strong to play."
Ouch, what kind of scene is this? The author is getting nauseous.
Luana never thought she would be that direct in talking about things that are still considered taboo by some people, even though this topic is really true if it is discussed with a legal partner. Remember, the legitimate one physically and mentally.
"Ha?" Rey blinked. "Did I hurt you?" This time it was the man who misbehaved. "Tell me, sweetheart. I'll hold it if it causes you pain."
Seeing the change in expression on Rey's face brought Luana so much comfort, as she now let her laughter float in the air. A happy laugh.
"No, no." Luana inched around to face Rey. "I like it, even if it gives me cramps. It's okay, it's just a little cramp anyway. I can bear it, because I have to admit that I like it. Everything about you is driving me crazy, Rey."
Rey could breathe a sigh of relief for that, because even he was having a hard time controlling the desire that was so overwhelming. His heart, which had been shrouded in clouds because of the conversation with Beatrice, now turned into a sea of happiness because of the news given by Luana.
Rey really felt he was blessed. He really felt like the luckiest man in the world.
"Come here, Luana."
Taking Luana's hand to climb onto the bed that was enough for two, Rey then pulled the blanket to cover the legs of the two who were both leaning forward. Leaning against the headboard, Rey let Luana rest in his arms as he turned on the television on low.
The news in Munich was one of Rey's favorite things to watch, and he was happier now that he was watching it with someone he adored more than anyone else in the world.
"So tell me," Rey opened their casual conversation. "Why did you leave that hotel? Didn't Jovi pick the best one for you?"
Luana sighed softly, as her fingers rested on Rey's broad chest. Moving to form random patterns there, Luana loved how Rey's body scent had become an addiction for her. This time with no perfume spray mixed in, it was purely just the scent of the noble's body.
"You may not believe it," Luana said haltingly. It seemed like she was unsure of what she wanted to say. "You still want to know?"
Rey nodded his head. He wanted to know, of course. If Luana knew how frantic he was when he found out she had left the hotel, then she would have been shocked.
"Say it, I'm curious."
"Uhm, that's... because I don't like the smell of the room."
HAH? WHAT? SERIOUSLY, LUANA.
Rey looked surprised. "What?"
Luana raised her head to look at Rey, who was already staring at her with confused eyes. What did she just hear?
"Yeah, I don't like the smell," Luana explained. She felt bad, but she had to say it anyway. "After Jovi left, I was there alone. All of a sudden I got nauseous and dizzy, so I think it was the air spray in there that made me short of breath. The smell was too... thick."
Rey didn't know how to react, but he finally straightened up to watch Luana closely. "So?"
Luana seemed to pause for two seconds before speaking again.
"And then... I felt like moving, instead of being nauseous there all the time. Besides, the hotel room was too luxurious and big, so I felt a little scared."
The expression on Luana's face this time was really adorable, as if Rey wanted to scoop her up and kiss her hard. How can someone look adorable and charming at the same time? Rey didn't know, but Luana could do it.
"So, I called Pedro because Jovi said he had a lot to do," Luana continued. "I didn't want to keep him busy, Rey. Because on the one hand you're dealing with Beatrice, so I really don't want to add to your burden."
Rey painted a handsome smile.
You have the heart of an angel, Luana.
"So, I asked Pedro to help me change hotels," Luana explained again. this was what she needed to get straight, because she didn't want Rey to misunderstand. "But I wasn't alone with him, Valerie was also with us."
Rey tried to connect one by one the unfinished puzzle pieces, then opened his voice to mumble a question.
"Jovi said the hotel staff saw you being picked up by a car," the man said. "Is that Pedro?"
Luana nodded. "Exactly. Pedro was driving the car, with Valerie sitting next to him. Just so you don't get the wrong idea, I'm sitting in the back seat, Rey. Not next to Pedro, in case you might get jealous."
Rey didn't know how to thank the universe for rewarding him with Luana's existence. He was so... grateful.
"Come here." Rey grabbed Luana's body to hug her tightly, pouring out the warmth of the love she had for the young woman. Cupping the top of Luana's head, Rey broke their brief embrace.
"And that's not all," Luana continued before Rey could speak. "I remembered that Valerie said she was going to buy supplies for Der Beste's club meeting, so I tagged along because I was too bored to be alone. So we bought supplies at the accessory store, before they drove me to this hotel."
A three-second pause.
"Ah, I also wanted to call, but forgot and only remembered when I was here. Exactly twelve minutes before you showed up at the door." Luana really explained until there was nothing left, because she knew she owed Rey a lot of explanations.
"You're not mad, are you?"
Of course. Who could be mad at a great mistress?
Rey shook his head with a smile rising at the corners of his lips.
"Of course not, darling," she said silently. "But you should probably apologize to our author."
"Huh? Why?"
Rey stroked his wife's hair. "Because of your actions, many readers think the author will make our story like a sad drama. She's also getting a lot of flak, I feel sorry for her."
Luana's eyes widened. "What is a sad drama, Rey?"
"You know, the story I cried over... imagining."
Luana blinked with a widened bead. "Ah, I didn't know I would cause that. I'll apologize to her later, you don't have to worry. Our author is a good one, she will definitely forgive me."
Of course. What writer would hold a grudge against their own character?
