The tinkling of the bell made Luana get up from the bed.

The sound of rustling water from the bathroom was still faintly reflected when Mrs. Lueic pulled the door handle and poked her head out. Finding Jovi standing right in front of her, Luana smiled as she pulled the door wider.

"Ah, Jovi. You're so fast."

Jovi thrust a few bags of groceries from a well-known brand at Luana, which she immediately welcomed.

"Thank you, yes. Sorry to trouble you," Luana said with a big smile. "Rey is still in the bathroom. Do you want to wait for him to finish?"

The expression on Jovi's face implied that the man had something to say, but then all Luana received was a shake. 'No, there's no need. I can-"

"Ah yes, I apologize for not contacting you because of the hotel change," Luana interrupted quickly. "Did your master scold you, Jovi?"

The young man could only pull at the corners of his lips, then shook his head slowly again.

"No, Mr. Rey did not scold me, ma'am," he said.

"Luana, please."

"Yes, Luana. No, I wasn't scolded," Jovi continued. "It's just that he was so worried when I got the news that you checked out without saying anything. He was probably afraid you'd leave, Luana."

This was interesting. Luana suddenly took two steps forward and pulled the door closed halfway. Her curious soul struggled, eager to be satisfied. Clinging to the wall at a safe distance from Jovi, Luana whispered softly.

"What is he doing?" she asked curiously. "Is he sad?"

Jovi knew what he had to do. There was no point in keeping Rey's good name, because the man didn't even have pride anymore after what happened earlier.

"He's... devastated," Jovi said hyperbole. "He asked me to keep track of everything, and said that he had to find you no matter what. He really didn't want you to leave."

Luana felt her heart warm up, with a sense of happiness that could not be hidden.

"Really?"

Jovi flashed his best smile.

"Promise me you won't worry the master again, Luana," Jovi pleaded. "I'm asking not as Mr. Rey's secretary, but for someone who knows how much he can't seem to stay away from you."

Luana flew into the clouds. Really, it was like she had invisible wings that carried her across the sky.

"Thank you, Jovi," Luana said happily. "You're not mad at me, are you? I really didn't want to bother you, that's all."

Jovi shook his head. Of course he wasn't mad. Could he be angry? Hell, he could get fired if he got mad at the boss's wife.

"It's okay," Jovi said in the lowest possible tone. "But don't do it next time, Luana. You don't know how confused the master was when you left."

Luana smiled, not realizing that her cheeks were already flushed. Her memory was blown away by what happened in the bathroom before this, which didn't seem to need to be described because she was so embarrassed.

"Yes, yes. I'm sorry for everything, Jovi," Luana repeated once more. "I think Rey will stay here tonight."

Jovi nodded. Of course he would. How could his master possibly leave Luana? No, not in the slightest.

"Alright. Have fun then. I'll go first."

After making sure Luana gave permission, Jovi swung his steps to walk down the corridor of the modest hotel. At least he could sleep well tonight, because Rey had found the love of his life.

Rey came out with a towel wrapped around his waist, just as Luana closed the door again. Lifting a few bags of groceries, the woman said. "Jovi delivered your clothes, Rey."

"Just put them there, honey," Rey said, adjusting his hair. Luana stepped quietly towards the bed, already dressed before Rey finished.

Rey's inaudible movement made Luana gasp when his arms wrapped around her from behind, landing a peck on her exposed nape.

"Put your clothes on." Luana turned her head briefly to greet Rey beside her. "You're wet."

Droplets of water were still flowing down Rey's wet hair, and for some reason, it made the man's neck sparkle like gold jewels. Tempting, while having an expensive feel on the other side.

"Should I not get dressed?" Rey whispered seductively. Men were always sweet-tongued, after all. "I can stay like this until tomorrow."

Luana had to endure Rey's teasing and seductive words, which she would probably hear more and more after that moment between them a while ago. Rey's desire and passion were really at their peak, especially since Luana also felt herself welcoming the man's arrival with great joy.

Don't know where Luana's innocent impression that had been embedded in her, because suddenly she turned into a (quite) ferocious she-wolf when dealing with Rey for 'that' business. No need to ask.

"You have to get dressed," Luana finally untangled Rey's embrace, then turned around to face her husband. Looking at Rey's face with a smile that did not come off, the woman also smiled. "Aren't there many things you want to ask me?"

Rey thought about it for a moment, but what Luana said was true. He was overwhelmed with so many questions, and perhaps this was the right time for them to talk without any distractions.

They could talk at length, hug each other, kiss each other, and wonder what kind of future they would face. Because the hotel room was like a hidden place, where the couple could express their feelings for each other.

"Alright," Rey agreed. Moving over to the grocery bag of supplies and some of his clothes, Rey chose a bright white casual T-shirt that he paired with knee-length shorts.

Luana had already moved to the vanity mirror, picked up a comb and combed her half-wet hair. The reflection of Rey's body as he took off his towel was caught by Luana's holy eyes, and it somehow made her cheeks blush again.

Rey was truly a masterpiece.

"Why are you blushing, Luana?" Rey's voice broke the silence, just as the man looked straight at his reflection in the mirror. Deliberately stopping his hand at the base of the zipper, Rey literally made Luana about to faint.

"What the fuck?" Luana quickly denied. "Hurry up and put your pants on!" she unconsciously exclaimed, more like she was holding back her embarrassment.

Rey's laughter echoed throughout the not-so-large room.

"Want one more, sweetie? Hmm?"
