The melodious voice flowed softly on the same frequency.

Realizing they were in an open space even though it had been just the two of them in the kitchen, Luana tried her best to muffle the sound that came out of her lips.

Rey's touch was absolutely lethal, as if the man was created to take her flying through the clouds.

The meeting and friction between the skin made common sense quickly evaporate, replaced with desire that was increasingly building up inside there.

Something that forced the two of them to get closer, with the distance no longer remaining.

"R-rey."

Luana moaned, arching her body in reaction to every kiss Rey landed on her porcelain-white shoulders and neck.

She didn't know why her desire was this intense, as if she didn't want Rey to stop every move he had been making.

Raising his head to gaze at his wife's soft irises, Rey sighed with a slightly rushed breath.

Letting his gaze fall on Luana's fully flushed face, with her pajamas unbuttoned almost to her stomach.

"I'm here, baby," Rey's whisper continued to dominate. "I'm here with you."

In the midst of the chaos that had exhausted his mind last night, he felt he had found the best place in Luana's arms.

The distinctive scent of the woman was able to make him feel calm, and miraculously Rey seemed to forget what was stuck in his heart.

Luana was the best medicine, Luana was the best answer.

"Stop it." In between breaths that were also panting and rising and falling, Luana pulled her face away from the man slowly. "There's no need for us to continue, just stop here."

A request that made Rey frown for a moment, because he did not expect Luana to say something like that.

"Luana."

"Let's just stop," Luana repeated. Now she was starting to be able to control herself, fighting the sense of desire that had defeated logic the other day.

This time, Luana didn't want to anymore.

"I don't want to," Rey said quickly. His eyeballs rolled slowly, but the man did not immediately grant his wife's wish.

Luana looked up, letting her irises meet her husband's blue ones.

The man she adored in silence, the man who (perhaps) had stolen her heart in silence. At the same time, the man she could not have no matter what.

"Why do we have to stop?" Rey muttered a question. Luana was still sitting on the kitchen table, with Rey standing firmly in front of her. "You liked that. You liked all my touches. Why are you asking me to stop?"

The more words that came out of Rey's lips, the more his chest thumped inside. If a few days ago Luana was happily reciprocating and giving herself to the man, but it seemed that now Luana was starting to limit herself.

And that, managed to spark a fire that Rey himself could not control.

Wetting her lips with a slowly extended tongue, Luana still tried to keep her head up.

"Because this isn't right," she whispered softly. Letting the silence last for a few seconds, before Luana said what she had been feeling all along.

"Listen to me, Rey," the woman said. "This is all not true. You and I--"

"For me, every one of you is the truth, Luana!" interrupted Rey quickly, before Luana could even finish her sentence. "You are the truth!"

Luana let out a small sigh when she realized that their conversation was now starting to cause some noise in the early hours of the morning, followed by a faint shake of her head and a forefinger in front of her lips in a gesture for Rey to lower his voice.

"Lower your voice," Luana pleaded, reflexively patting Rey's sturdy shoulder. "You want everyone to catch us here?"

Luana lowered her voice, though she unconsciously widened her bead to properly warn him.

Rey scowled indifferently.

"Yeah let it go," he said not to be outdone. "I'm with my wife anyway. I bet they won't dare to come close, let alone know we're in a position like this."

A position like this? Like what?!

As if being awakened from a daydream, Luana realized that she and Rey were in a position that could really cause misunderstanding.

Intimate, and seemed to want each other.

"So stay away," Luana pleaded once again, followed by a push of her hand against the man's broad chest. "If anyone sees, they'll misunderstand, you know!"

It took two seconds before Rey burst out laughing, as if Luana had just cracked the most sophisticated joke in the world's circulation.

"Hey! Keep your voice down, man! Why are you laughing like that, anyway?!"

Rey was still hanging on to his laughter, as he moved forward to steal a quick peck on his wife's lips.

"Hey!"

"Because of you," Rey said happily. "Who's going to misunderstand, honey? Hmm? I'm with my wife, and I'm doing what I like. So what?"

The word 'my wife' that had come out more than once from Rey's lips had succeeded in making Luana's heart rustle, feeling the warmth that spread slowly from there.

Luana had almost forgotten that she was indeed the legal wife of Rey Lueic. She was the mistress of this mansion, she was the queen of this great residence.

"But it's still inappropriate, you know!" Luana grumbled again, then turned her head to check the surroundings.

The surface of the kitchen table felt cold under her seat, through the thin pajamas she was wearing.

"It's okay," Rey said soothingly. "I like it like this. It's like a teenage boy stealing time for sex."

A rosy hue filled Luana's beautiful face as her head lowered slowly.

Meeting Rey's gaze could make her body relax, even though she had tried so hard to hold back all the desire.

"Go back to your room," Luana suggested casually. "It's almost morning anyway, and you have to work again later, right?"

Rey concluded a smirk at the corner of his lips, then looked at his wife with a longing gaze.

Luana, will you stay by my side no matter what?

"Do you want us to go to the room?" Turning the question around, Rey was still smiling seductively. "Shall we continue there?"

Not giving Luana the space and opportunity to answer, Rey was already moving quickly to pick up his petite wife.

"Rey!"

"Hold on, honey. We're almost there."

Gosh, he really misunderstood!

"No, it's not like that!" snarled Luana, trying to get out of the nobleman's arms. "That's not what I meant!"

Luana's overreaction only made Rey pick up the pace even more, but this time instead of climbing the stairs to reach their room, he turned to enter his dimly lit study.

Luana closed her eyes as Rey set her down on a long, wide sofa. There was no need for him to command her, he seemed to already know where she needed to be.

Removing the bright gray T-shirt he was wearing, Rey bent down to smother his wife's lips. Making Luana moan softly again, because something was starting to twitch painfully down there.

Damn it, Rey! How can I resist you?!

Not letting Luana break their embrace, Rey let his logic get out of the way early that morning. Giving access to the raging desire now taking over, the man moved quickly to unfasten his wife's pajamas.

The nobleman's hands had already traveled down every curve of Luana's body, leaving the woman once again helpless when under such a dominant confinement.

There was nothing Luana could do but open herself up to him, even as her heart whimpered for the wounds that were getting deeper and deeper.

If one day she returns, will you still look at me, Rey?

Closing her eyes once again, Luana surrendered herself to carry out her duties as a wife to Rey. Being a place for that man to pour it all out, being a place for that man before he has to get out of the way someday.

The silence of the night was a silent witness to the union of two people of different castes, who were on the threshold of consciousness.

Rey gently stroked Luana's hair after their first release, holding his wife very tightly as Luana now lay limp on his chest.

Their fingers were intertwined with the rhythm of their breathing still rising and falling, just as Rey's eyes pierced through the dark night.

Just this once, Luana. Just this once, keep holding my hand tightly.

The surface of their skin sparked a different sensation, as Luana looked up this time to gaze at her husband's handsome face.

Rey flashed a smile that seemed forced, though he did his best to hide it.

"Luana."

"Hmm?"

Rey took a few seconds to pause, before his lips parted again slowly. "She has returned."
