It had been two days since Jovi had flown to Sidney, Australia, to carry out the mission Rey had given him.

The nobleman has fully recovered, and his allergies from yesterday are fully cleared up. Of course, it was due to the concoction of medicines and ointments he was wearing, plus the special night he had spent with Luana.

Luana was already in the kitchen early that morning, while Rey was still in the room getting ready. The smell of toast had filled the kitchen area of Rey Lueic's mansion, with Luana taking center stage.

"Add some of that jam, Mare," Luana pointed at the neatly lined up jams, choosing grape jam for her that morning.

"Yes, ma'am!"

For some reason, Luana's appetite had increased dramatically lately, and she had asked for something that sounded 'unfamiliar' several times.

"Give me that jam too, Mare." Luana pointed to another jar of chocolate jam, which suddenly looked appetizing. "Add more!"

Mare smiled happily as she spread Luana's requested jam, and then thrust the two stacks of toast towards their big lady not long after.

"Thank you, Mare!"

She almost drooled, as her eyes gazed longingly at the bread Mare had offered her. Just as she was about to turn around to head towards the living room, Luana was suddenly startled by someone shouting from upstairs.

The few servants who were on duty downstairs also reflexively stopped their work, then both looked up for a few seconds. Because the scream sounded very clear, and created a big question mark in Luana's mind.

"What's going on?" she muttered in a small voice.

Mare immediately approached and stood right next to Luana, when now another shout that sounded like a yell was heard again.

"Get out!" The voice echoed. "Find me an exact match, or I'll fire you right now!"

Luana squinted, before her heart skipped a beat.

Wait, that was... Rey's voice!

A butler named Markus was walking hurriedly down the stairs, with a serious look on his face. Both hands were clasped in front of his body, with his shoulders almost sagging.

"Markus!"

The middle-aged man stopped his steps and turned his head towards Luana's voice that echoed in their living room.

"What's wrong?" Luana asked curiously. "Why is Rey yelling so loudly?"

Markus looked puzzled, but then he took a step toward his mistress. Hoping that the young woman would have a solution to what he was facing this morning.

Stopping right in front of Luana who was still holding a plate of toast, Markus cleared his throat hesitantly.

"I'm sorry, ma'am!" the hazel-eyed man said with a half-shudder.

Luana paused to nod vaguely. "It's okay. What happened, Markus? Why is your master shouting this early in the morning?"

Markus seemed to take a deep breath, raising his head to look straight at Luana. His eyeballs met Luana's bead, which always looked reassuring every day.

"Mr. Rey is very angry, ma'am," Markus stammered. "A servant who has only been working for a few days has undone the buttons on this shirt, even though Mr. Rey was going to wear it to the conference this afternoon."

Luana tried to take in the information Markus was giving her in spite of her lingering half-fear, as she nodded slowly.

"So?"

Markus raised both hands to tell Luana the shirt in question.

"This shirt is a limited edition from McCave," Markus explained again. "Jovi told me how important this shirt is, but ah.... Why was I so careless?!"

Markus was clearly blaming it on himself, despite the fact that another waiter might have been at fault.

Exhaling, Luana shrugged. "So, what's the problem? If the button comes off, can't it just be sewn on?"

The woman's voice echoed throughout the room, again drawing the attention of the people who were there. Just like the response to the shouting earlier, the servants now all looked at their great mistress.

Markus widened his bead, looking incredulous.

"T-this...," Markus was still struggling to speak. "There's no more of the exact same edition in the store today, so you'll have to wait for two more days. Mr. Rey...."

The worms in Luana's stomach were already clamoring for some toast with grape jam and chocolate, but it looked like their conversation was still going to last a while longer.

"He could have worn something else," Luana muttered absentmindedly. "Why is he yelling, Markus?"

Mare took it upon herself to explain this time, as she rubbed Luana's arm briefly. Moving closer, the young maid whispered right into her employer's ear.

"Master always wears clothes prepared for the conference, Madam," Mare whispered. "Master is usually not kind enough to change clothes that easily, nor does he wear clothes with hand stitching."

Frowning even more, Luana now shook her head in disbelief.

"What? Why so arrogant, anyway?" grumbled Luana starting to get annoyed, with a tone of voice that rose without her realizing it.

Luana's voice echoed again, and now the servants who were there chose to slowly leave the arena. It looked like something was going to happen after this.

Markus was still holding the shirt very carefully, when Luana's bead was now pointed in the same direction.

"Do you have that loose button, Markus?"

Markus nodded. "Here, ma'am."

"Give it to me." Luana took the shirt from Mark's hand and glanced at it.

Turning to Mare, she gave a clear order. "Take my sewing kit, Mare."

Mare nodded, then turned quickly to get what Luana had requested.

Markus still stood expectantly, really pinning his hopes on Luana now. Rey's anger didn't come often, but once it did--he really didn't mess with it.

Mare arrived a few moments later and placed Luana's sewing kit on the table.

Mrs. Lueic sat right on the sofa, hoisting her husband's shirt over her lap. Selecting thread and needle quickly, Luana moved deftly as she sewed back on the button at the base of the loose sleeve.

"I hope he doesn't get angry again," Luana murmured in between her very deliberate, seemingly well-practiced hand movements.

Spending a few moments reattaching the loose button, Luana now finished the stitches very neatly.

"I hope this is good enough," she said hopefully. Severing the thread that was still attached, Luana smiled with satisfaction.

Hoisting the shirt back up with both hands, Luana now had a smile on her face. Rising from the chair, Luana gave Markus a quick nod.

"Calm down, Markus. I'll handle this," Luana said sincerely.

Markus seemed to nod gratefully, hoping that their great master would not yell again after this.

"Thank you, ma'am! You saved me!"

Luana was still smiling. "Now go back. Don't fire the new servant, but you must teach her properly. I'm going up now."

Mare gave Luana a quick glance, giving a nod in support. Leaving the toast untouched on the table, Luana walked up the steps one by one.

Her chest heaved as she reached for the door handle, desperately hoping that this would ease Rey's anger even if just for today.

"If you don't find anything similar, then come back, Markus!" Rey's voice had been heard first, though the man did not know who was present in the room now.

The nobleman had his back to the door, hands clasped around his waist as he stared out the window.

Wearing absolutely nothing on his upper body, Rey did not realize that he was showing off his firm back to someone else.

Luana approached, her voice low.

"I really don't want that maid here anymore, so return her immediately. Do you understand?"

Just as Rey turned around with a quick movement, Luana widened her sweetest smile.

Their gazes met, as Rey looked surprised now.

"Luana?"
