[From Rey Lueic to Luana Casavia]

My big bed has never felt this warm before.

It never felt cozy, never felt like a real bed before the night we spent together.

Your face and all the expressions you gave me will be remembered until the day I die, because I have kept it in here tightly. The rise and fall of your breath will always be something that thrills me, and I really didn't know I would be that happy just a few hours ago.

Your presence here succeeded in making me forget everything, even the heavenly world you offered earlier made me forget who I really am. For a moment I even forgot what my name was, because the feeling was too overwhelming.

I cannot describe in words how I feel right now, when I am no longer alone on this bed. Can I hope that you'll still be here? Even if everything comes to light later and backfires on me, will you stay and hold my hand?

Because I've made a decision, even though I might regret it in the future. A decision that will probably change the lives of many people, but it's okay because there is you between us.

Because you and I are never different, because you and I will always be on the same path. Stay with me until this story reaches its finish line, I hope you are willing to embrace it all even if it involves tears.

Luana, I'm (probably) already in love with you.

***

Luana's smooth back was still half exposed when the woman squirmed slowly.

Rey was still awake, leaning against the headboard of his bed which now felt warm and real. The man had not dressed properly either, only choosing to cover his lower body to leave his broad chest and plaid abdomen clearly visible.

The thick blanket he usually wore alone was now draped over Luana's body, who was also not properly dressed. For whatever reason, their young passion was bubbling. And that game, of course, did not stop at the first play.

Squinting slowly, Luana moved slowly to change her sleeping position. She had indeed fallen asleep earlier, after feeling crushed in every inch of her body. The remnants of the nobleman's kisses were still clearly felt all over the surface of her skin, with some reddish marks that might turn purplish tomorrow.

Rey turned his head, widening his smile with eyes straight down.

"You're not asleep yet?" Luana's hoarse voice greeted, as her hand pulled the blanket higher. "What time is it already, sir?"

Rey was still holding a can of cold beer in his hand, as he glanced at the clock in one corner of the room.

"Almost one o'clock," he informed her. "What woke you up, hmm?"

Luana slid a hand under the pillow, letting her head and hair rest on the soft object. Turning her face to stare at Rey, the woman shook her head softly.

"Nothing. Just woke up," she replied, her voice still hoarse. "You really haven't slept?"

Rey took one more sip of the beer, before setting the can down on the nightstand. Inching closer, he rested his head on the pillow - facing right into his wife's face. Both on their stomachs, they smiled at each other.

"I want to take care of you," the man whispered softly. "It's your first time sleeping with me, and I don't want to miss a moment when you're asleep."

Rey may be royalty, but don't forget that he's also one of the pussycat characters in this novel.

"Hmm?" Luana just cleared her throat softly.

Sleepiness still hung in her eyes, but Rey's handsome face was too beautiful to miss. That's why Luana forced herself to open her eyes wider, now returning her husband's gaze which looked so soothing.

Not only for Rey, this was also the first moment for Luana. Even though she was asleep after some of their play earlier, she also wanted to share the same time with him.

"Are you watching me?"

"Hm mh." Rey nodded faintly. Moving closer, he placed one hand on her cheek. "I left a lot of kissmarks," he continued. "You might have to wear something closed for a few days."

Luana realized Rey's words had some truth to them, as she unconsciously moved to remove the blanket. Looking down to pay attention to her upper chest which was indeed filled with love marks there, Luana could only smile faintly.

"It's here too," Rey pointed to the surface of Luana's skin right on the woman's neck. "And here, and here too."

Luana didn't know if she should be proud of herself or not, but somehow it felt so good. With the many marks Rey had left on her body, did that also mean their relationship had entered another phase?

"It's okay," Luana said sincerely. "I'm going to wear closed clothes. So what if these marks are visible?"

Luana's question had succeeded in stirring up a breeze in Rey's heart, making the man rustle. Did that mean Luana didn't mind showing her work to the public? Just when Rey thought the woman might have trouble covering everything up.

"You don't mind?"

There was an audible gasp from Luana before she answered. "Everyone knows you're the culprit anyway, sir. Who else would it be?"

The sigh returned to his heart, followed by a wide smile that hung at the corners of Rey's lips.

Rubbing his wife's cheek with his palm, Rey moved closer. Shifting the bolster that had been separating them, the nobleman allowed them to hear the rush of each other's breath.

"Do you trust me, Luana?" asked Rey in a slightly serious tone.

Luana blinked softly. There were so many feelings raging in her heart, not to mention the worry and apprehension that she could not control. Being in the same bed with Rey was something she had never thought about before, but there seemed to be something that led her to him.

Something that... she had trouble expressing, as she had yet to identify what it was.

Mrs. Lueic nodded.

"I believe."

Rey leaned forward to give Luana a peck on the forehead, before his voice softened again.

"You just need that, Luana," he whispered hopefully. "No matter what happens, you just have to believe. Trust me, that's enough."

Luana thought she had shaken off her sleepiness, but now her eyes began to close again. Watching his wife drift back to sleep, Rey gently pulled her into his arms.

Letting Luana lean against his chest, letting their skin touch again for a long time.

Her breathing sounded regular now, just after Rey rubbed her innocent back to usher her into dreamland. Giving a few goodnight pats on his wife's forehead and lips, Rey tightened the embrace.

His gaze wandered around the room, wandering with thoughts that were also mixed up. Like a tangled thread, the nobleman was at odds with himself.

"Even if the truth comes out later, just keep trusting me, sweetheart," Rey whispered softly in Luana's ear, as if he was speaking words to bring into his wife's subconscious. "You just have to believe, and I'll risk it all for you."
