Rosabella could do nothing but endure it, absorbing the impact, her voice nothing but incoherent sounds evoked from his beastly feats.

And she doesn't want him to stop. Don't want him to slow down. Don't want him to restrain himself with her. She wants all that he will give her.

His hands are strong, and his body is like steel, but when he hits her, she thinks that maybe it's what's inside him that weighs the most.

Charles is purifying his soul, and as scary as she thinks the deepest parts of him may be, she wants it all. Want to see it.

Then he comes, his hands resting on the bed as he pours into her and then sinks back, regaining his breath before leaving her.

Rosabella couldn't move, couldn't do anything but lie there, knowing full well that this was the best climax she had ever experienced.

---

"Is that really necessary?" Audrey asked Rosabella, after taking her blood pressure, to open the device out of her arm.

"I'm afraid so. Unless you want to annoy your baby and have a chance at an early delivery."

Audrey sighed heavily, rubbing her big belly to comfort herself.

"I know but lying in bed won't let me do anything. There's so much going on in the house, how can I support people when I'm forced to lie down all day?"

Andy, who had accompanied Audrey to the infirmary while Vengo, Charles, and Michel were on a business trip let out a hearty laugh.

"Have you ever thought that being in bed is supposed to stop you from worrying and supporting people?"

Rosabella suppressed a smirk there as she recorded Audrey's vitality. She doesn't necessarily want to be involved but she really starts to warm up to Andy's sunny personality.

Fanny was certainly right when she told Rosabella that he was the friendliest of all the men in this family.

And Rosabella couldn't agree more. Especially since Charles had lost interest at dinner yesterday, it was nothing but amusing for Rosabella.

It all started when Michel announced that they had recruited all but one member of the Davies family to become members of the Black Roses.

So, as a way to greet them after their formal introduction, they all (except Fanny) sat down for a sumptuous dinner.

Rosabella didn't really pay much attention to the four newcomers, but when one of them, in particular, began to show interest in her, she noticed how tense Charles had become next to her.

"I can't help it," groaned Audrey as she accepted Andy's help to step carefully down the upholstered couch.

Rosabella turned and gave her a stern look. "You need to think about your baby. A happy mummy equals a happy baby. You worry and stress equals a stressed baby." She speaks.

Sighing deeply, Audrey reluctantly nodded.

Walking down the hallway towards her room, Rosabella was surprised when Kaylin suddenly walked out of the room and approached her.

"Hey, I was just about to knock on your door."

Looking at her with a confused expression, Rosabella tilted her head and looked at her questioningly.

"Why?"

Signaling them to talk in her room instead of in the hallway, Kaylin followed Rosabella in and immediately sat down on the couch as if she had been in Rosabella's room countless times before.

Kaylin looked around and whistled. "Charles definitely gave you one of the nicer rooms. Don't get me wrong, my room wasn't half bad but I don't have a bed sheet or a cupboard over there."

"And why exactly are you here?" Rosabella immediately got to the point, perplexed that the only woman who actually worked with the mafia men was conversing with her.

Kaylin shrugged. "It's easy. I'm a bit bored here. When I'm not working, it's nice to have someone to talk to."

Frowning, she crossed her arms. "Why me?"

Kaylin crossed her legs and tossed her hair over her shoulder, grinning. "No offense but Audrey and Fanny are the... how should I put it... for my taste."

Suppressing the urge to laugh out loud, Rosabella shifted gears at once. This girl practically insulted her best friend, should she protect Fanny?

Somehow, Rosabella could sense that Kaylin wasn't trying to cause any real harm, but was just speaking her mind. Which she somehow appreciates.

"What makes you think I'm not boring either?"

Kaylin's smile widened even more as she stared at Rosabella, shooting her a knowing look.

"Because you and I are not so different and let's face it. I am anything but boring."

"So how are we alike? Because I'm sure as hell can't see it."

"Really?" Kaylin tilted her head and stood up, walking around the room and checking the scattered items. "Uhm, I know about you and Charles."

Feeling like her heart had just popped out of her chest, Rosabella immediately tried to hide her shocked expression, trying her best to feign innocence. "What about me and Charles?"

"Come on, don't say that. My room is literally a stone hurled from you and his. I've heard it all. And I have to say..." She added with a wink.

Blushing deeply, Rosabella looked away and cleared her throat a few times. There's really no need to deny it anymore.

However, Rosabella still had to think of a classy way to ask this woman to keep her business to herself.

However, before she had a chance to make her request, Kaylin spoke up. "Don't worry, Rosabella. It's not like I'm going to run around broadcasting it to the whole family."

"Not you?"

"Are not."

The two girls stared at each other in silence for a moment before Rosabella felt safe enough for Kaylin to tell the truth.

"So you just want a reminder?"

"Very good."

Sitting down again, but this time lying on the bed, Kaylin sighed. "Carlos and I are doing the same thing. See? We're not so different." She suddenly admitted when examining her nails, noticed that the red paint was chipped in several places.

Rosabella was surprised to hear this, her eyes really bulging when she heard the news. "What? I thought..."

"Is it that we hate each other? Yes, I know. But to tell you the truth, I think it's our version of hot foreplay."
