Farrah smiled and nodded eagerly.

"That's exactly what Andy and I wanted. We wanted a small and simple wedding ceremony."

"How was your wedding with Vengo?" Fanny asked as she stirred the spoon in the tea, taking a small sip of the hot beverage.

Audrey's eyes immediately lit up at the memory, her expression turning into a satisfied smile as she replied.

"Oh, it was beautiful. We had about two hundred guests and a five-tier wedding cake. Whatever I wanted, Vengo happily complied. My favorite was the floral decorations. The whole hall was decorated with flowers. covered with pink and white carnations." She recalled, followed by a dreamy sigh.

In contrast, Rosabella grimaced at the description, swallowing the scones she had left in her mouth with a bitter look on her face.

"Your wedding is your best dream, Audrey." She spoke honestly as a chuckle escaped Farrah, sharing the same amused look with Fanny.

The four women continued to talk for a few more minutes when the door swung open and Kaylin entered, causing Fanny's face to instantly fall into disapproval.

She just wanted to get up and leave, but she didn't know Farrah very well and didn't want to give Farrah the wrong impression just by walking out.

"Hello, friends." Kaylin smiled enthusiastically as she freely sat down in one of the empty armchairs after pouring her own cup of tea and grabbing a scone.

"What did I miss?" She asked with a full mouth, glancing around the circle.

"We're still discussing wedding plans. Farrah wants to have a small wedding." Audrey filled Kaylin, got up, and walked over to the makeshift cot that was placed next to her and Vengo's bed until the new daughter's room was complete.

She adjusted the small space on little Omorose, making sure her daughter was still asleep before rejoining the group and pouring her another cup.

Kaylin let out a dry laugh. "I'm not really interested in the wedding. I'm more interested in the honeymoon."

"Or bachelorette party," Rosabella added, seeming to completely agree with Kaylin.

Fanny did her best to hide her displeasure at the two getting along so well.

But her best friend immediately caught on and shrugs apologetically, not really knowing what else to add to her defense.

"Oh, I don't think we're going to have either of those..." Farrah tucked a loose lock of hair behind her ear.

Audrey's eyes widened. "But you have to, Farrah. It's tradition." She said, trying to keep her voice low so she wouldn't wake the baby.

"I understand that you and Andy want to keep it small, but every member of the Black Roses has to have a bachelorette party. And a honeymoon is also a must."

"What, you're saying Vengo throws a bachelor party and you don't?" Rosabella frowned, this time reaching for a croissant.

Audrey shook her head. "No, I did. But while the boys' party was a bit more boisterous, I wanted my party to be a beautiful bridal bath with spa and green tea."

"Oh, my God." Kaylin laughed, instantly silenced by everyone as they gestured to Omorose's crib.

Rosabella and Fanny were more interested in learning more details about this infamous party that both Michel and Charles were apparently involved in.

"What do you mean hoarse, Audrey?" Fanny hoped to be subtle in her question while Rosabella was just blunt.

"Uh, are there strippers?"

Audrey shrugged nonchalantly, clearly unfazed by her then-fiance's last night of fun.

"I think so. I think there's actually more than one. Carlos and Michel organized it. At the time, they hadn't recruited Andy yet."

The thought of a stripper rubbing against Michel terrified Fanny, but again, she was trying to stay calm, not wanting to show it.

This was before her time, and if she hadn't been baiting him about Kaylin more recently, she wouldn't have focused on something that happened a lifetime ago.

However, as if life was testing her, it was at that moment that Kaylin spoke again, only Kaylin's voice annoyed her.

"Ok, if Farrah has a spa or bachelorette party, can I attend the bachelorette party?"

As a stripper, Fanny suppressed the urge to make a comment in her head. While everyone laughed at that comment, she was busy taking in a steady breath to calm her nerves.

Later that day, Michel walked into the room and found Fanny standing by one of the large windows, resting her forehead against her sunglasses as she peered outside.

For the past two months, life has been very hectic, each day quickly turning to the next as he focuses on watching Mr. Aiden and Archibald.

Fanny had stayed with Michel, now officially moved into his room as things were comfortable between them.

It was mostly pure, except for the occasional few kisses and gentle touches they exchanged, each night climbing into bed together as the day ended.

The nightmares continued to disturb Fanny's sleep, although while Michel still insisted that she wasn't taking any medication, they had greatly improved, occurring only every few nights.

Even so, things are going well, almost too well as they battle the nagging feeling that everything will eventually collapse around them and burst their bubbles.

"Everything's OK?" He asked her as he entered, seeing her look over at him with a small smile.

She looked a bit tired, the night before wasn't one of them, they had a happy uninterrupted sleep.

"Uh..." She sighed, turning her head to look.

While her former room provided one of the large rear gardens, Michel's room, now theirs, displays a spectacle of the mansion's large fountain and rosebushes.

Michel stood behind her and gently wrapped his arms around her, pulling her forward as he cautiously planted a small kiss on the nape of her neck, then buried his nose in her hair to take a deep breath of her scent.

"Tell me... I know something's wrong."

Fanny took a deep breath through her nose and bit her lower lip, swaying slightly at the emotion she was feeling.

She doesn't necessarily want to talk about it, and she often tries to keep it together. But it's in moments like these when she's already feeling a little sensitive, just a few words from Michel can set her off.
