Michel's gaze moved from her to Kieran and Bellamy and back to her, thinking about her proposal.

He took a long moment to respond, pondering her words as he pulled out another cigarette.

Kaylin understood his hesitation. Michel is an expert in the field and he can smell the stench from a mile away.

Although, she also knows that he is desperate to find his girl.

And for them to go anywhere, they don't have much of a choice.

At this point, she's been missing for two weeks, and Michel is clearly losing her mind.

"It seems too risky, Kaylin. It could be a trap. How do you know this friend of yours? And what if this guy catches up? What other options do we have? Isn't that the best thing you all have?" He spoke to not only her but the other two, shaking his head as he smoked a cigarette.

"No, unless we're willing to wait a little longer until a better opportunity presents itself. This is the closest we've come so far." Kaylin retorted.

Michel stared at her for a moment before he quickly ordered Bellamy and Kieran to leave the hotel and notify him as soon as they had any updates.

When he and Kaylin are alone, he confronts her again and allows himself to show more interest in himself, something he doesn't want to do in front of the other two until they completely prove their loyalty.

"I have a bad feeling about this."

Kaylin poured him a fresh drink before sitting down in front of him, letting out a deep breath.

"I don't think we can be picky. You told me so. Charles sent Mr. Aiden pictures of Gwen and all he did was reply that she served her purpose and he won't give up on Fanny unless you agree to his terms."

Rage flashed across Michel's expression as his hands clenched into fists and he shot up from his seat to angrily hurl the glass he was holding across the hotel room.

"He will die. I swear to you. He must die." His voice roared, causing Kaylin to press his lips together in equal frustration.

She is not afraid of Michel when he is like this.

She understands him.

So instead, she let him vent and only inched closer to talk to him when she saw him slowly come to his senses and control himself enough to sit down and stroke his hand.

"Listen. I've got this. Let me handle this guy and get some information. Trust me on this, okay?" Kaylin reassured him, her voice confident and determined.

Finding her gaze, her boss scanned her for a few seconds, and when he couldn't find a trace of fear, finally gave her orders.

"Good. Get me the information and let's settle this once and for all."

Meanwhile, Audrey was rubbing her seven-month-old bump nervously as she sat in an upholstered hospital chair, glancing at the nurse beside her as she sighed nervously.

The girl she now knows named Rosabella is none other than her former nurse's best friend.

However, while Fanny had become a close friend in the four months she was with them, Audrey could sense that Rosabella was opposed to forming anything remotely close to that.

This is evident in the way she behaves and talks to them.

She remembers how fragile Rosabella first appeared when they brought her in, Audrey being the one to help her shower and settle in.

But she guessed that this most likely had something to do with the fact that Rosabella had been traumatized by the events of just a few hours earlier.

Just as Rosabella realized that she was going to stay with them, it was as if she suddenly regained consciousness and lost it.

Compared to Charles and Vengo who just wanted to shut her down, Audrey, on the other, understood the poor girl's feelings.

And she won't let the behavior of these abusers stop her, at least trying to make Rosabella comfortable.

She succeeded by inviting Rosabella to be a nurse, using this as an excuse to get her out of the room she had been hiding in.

Now, Rosabella was slowly trying to strike up a conversation.

"I'm glad you're here with us, Rosabella," Audrey spoke softly to the girl.

Rosabella shot Audrey an unfriendly look as she removed the sleeve of the blood pressure monitor from Audrey's arm.

"Ah, I'm not. And your blood pressure is too low. There's a cookie or something." She bounced back with her back to Audrey to scribble down patient vitals.

But Audrey didn't give up on this quickly.

Slowly, Audrey rose from her sitting position and approached the girl, placing a gentle hand on Rosabella's arm that caused her to receive another look.

"You cannot..."

"Rosabella. I'm really sorry for everything that happened. Really." Audrey was really sorry, looking at the way the nurse turned her face because she'd rather let Audrey be more horrible to her than nice.

After all, it's easier to hate something when it's not smiling at you all the time.

And Audrey made it hard for Rosabella to look down on her.

Even though she tried to convince herself every day that the woman was probably just acting out an act.

They are all murderers. And she is the wife of a murderer.

"I just... can't I? Let me check on you and go back to your room." She forced out, determined not to face Audrey.

However, Audrey patted Rosabella's arm before letting go of her and gently answering her.

"Of course. Anything you want."

Three weeks passed.

Michel pulled out a cigarette from the ashtray on the table as he got up and went to the window.

Everyone is doing something.

His second in command, Charles and Vengo are managing the taverns.

Andy oversees their security while Carlos is modifying all of their accounts and shares.

Kieran and Bellamy are trying their best to get information about Mr. Aiden and Fanny for Kaylin was secretly in a club to connect with a man from Phoenix.
