Mr. Aiden stared at her for a second. He watched her tears slide down her cheeks, and she saw that his eyes were shining with amusement.
He is enjoying this.
Letting her go, Fanny collapsed against the wall, her body suddenly weakening.
Mr. Aiden stepped back and sat down on a chair in the middle of the room. He leaned back and crossed his arms across his chest, looking dangerously intimidating.
She quickly looked around the room, but it was empty.
There are no windows, and the room looks unfinished. Upon realizing that, Fanny took a deep breath.
It's not a room. It was a dungeon.
Her eyes blinked as Mr. Aiden arched and glared coldly at her.
Fanny trembled against her gaze and glanced down.
She didn't want to see him. His face will be a reminder of all the bad things that have happened and will happen to her.
"You're a troublemaker, aren't you? You ruined Michel's plan." Mr. Aiden started.
Her eyebrows furrowed, but she didn't look up.
"All this time, he's been hiding you so you don't become a target. And now, look at you."
She peeked at him through the hair that covered half of her face.
Mr. Aiden shook his head and laughed.
"You've become a liability. His weakness. If they knew who you were, they'd go after you. Ever wondered why Michel was being chased like that?"
She did not answer.
"Because you made him weak. One target. Now he's so easy..." Mr. Aiden turned his head and laughed again.
"Who would have thought that the departure of the great Michel would be love? Just a mere girl." He continued to laugh bitterly.
Her head shot up, her heart pounding at this new revelation.
Mr. Aiden chuckled at her expression, a sinister face.
"Oh, didn't he tell you that? I'm not surprised. His pride is a stick that's been pushed up to the point where you don't even know which way is up. Too late for that now. By letting you go, he was playing right in our hands."
Shaking his head, he smiled. It was so malicious, it made Fanny shiver.
"He should have brought you here by himself. Same difference. But I think all went well."
Fanny didn't understand what he meant.
She only saw his smile.
She looked at Mr. Aiden stood up from his chair and walked over to her.
Kneeling, he grabbed her face.
"Michel delivered you to me as if you were nothing. Do you really think he's come to save you now?" He whispered in her ear.
Fanny swallowed hard as his words hit her heart.
"Beauty, look at me." Mr. Aiden requested.
He leaned forward and planted a kiss on her cheek. His lips moved to her and tried to kiss her while his hand wandered up her bare thigh.
His hand went under her skirt, his touch soft. But the softness deceived. Softness contains only the promise of pain.
Fanny closed her eyes as she felt a finger probe her through her lace panties.
The pain. All she feels is pain. This cannot happen.
Maybe it was just a dream.
A nightmare.
But she knows it's true. This nightmare is her reality.
He grabbed her thigh possessively, his fingers digging into her skin, leaving marks.
Fanny sniffled as her tears continued to run down her cheeks.
She said nothing. As long as she doesn't provoke him, he'll probably stop.
But then suddenly the tenderness disappeared.
The back of his hand hit her face, and her head hit the wall.
Fanny screamed as pain shot through her head and neck.
Mr. Aiden gripped her hair and shook her as he pulled her forward until the chains bit her skin painfully.
She cried out again, the pain so intense that she couldn't bear it.
But it's not just physical pain.
Her heart also ached.
She was breaking inside, slowly losing herself in the darkness that surrounded her.
"Do you really think I'll be gentle with you, beauty?" He spit in her face.
Fanny's stomach twisted violently at the unspoken promise of his words.
Her heart throbbed, and she was paralyzed as soon as his fist made contact with her face, causing her lips to crack.
This time she didn't scream.
"That bastard will pay for the bullshit he did. Starting with you." He said leaning on her neck as he tore off her skirt.
Shivering, she felt his hands graze her body.
Her heart sank, and her mind went blank.
Fanny resisted at first. But that only made him angrier.
Just over a day when Michel had held her in his arms.
Now, she was forced to feel the touch of a monster.
She tried to be strong, but in the end, she was weak.
Mr. Aiden turned her around until she knelt down, her back leaning in front of him.
He pressed her face against the wall until she was trapped and unable to do anything.
Not with chains wrapped around her so tightly.
He pushed her thighs apart, and that's when Fanny felt something pressing it against her body.
Fanny couldn't stop a blinding scream of pain from escaping her lips as she was brutally attacked.
When Mr. Aiden moved inside her several times, his fingers wrapped around her throat the whole time, making sure she knew he was in control.
She felt like she was being cut from the inside as if she were being pricked with shards of glass.
She is bleeding inside. Her heart is bleeding.
Her soul is bleeding, begging for mercy.
At some point, Fanny just stayed silent as her body and heart broke into pieces.
She suddenly felt disconnected.
When Mr. Aiden was done, she couldn't move so she just lay there, her head hanging limply against the cold wall.
Dimly feeling a pair of lips against her ear, she heard him whisper a few more words.
"He's not coming for you. No matter how much you beg, he won't come. He'll never find you. Nobody comes to you."
And with that, Fanny closed her eyes, knowing that it was true.
