Just as the door was finally kicked down, Fanny attempted to push Rosabella into the broom cupboard, quickly pushing one of the chairs under the knob to prevent her from opening the door.
Three men in dark clothes suddenly entered the house and entered the path that she was about to run down, wanting to warn her father.
Feeling frozen, her throat completely dry, she decided to stay, keeping her chair and broom closet door covered behind so they wouldn't notice she was hiding something.
Fanny was terrified.
One of the men walked towards her, staring at her with lifeless black eyes.
He was large with a thick neck that looked like it was about the same width as his head.
He had a sneer on his lips as she tried to back away, tripping over her own two legs.
Immediately, she met the barrel of a gun, the black hole pointed directly at her.
She was scared, her heart pounding and her head spinning, but it wasn't about her.
Fanny fears for the lives of those who are with her in the house.
She prays that Rosabella won't make any noise and draw attention to her and doesn't know if they will notice her father's presence in the next room or not.
Her greatest fear was realized when her father entered the living room, most likely awakened by the noise, his eyes widening as he was immediately confronted by three men who were standing there.
"Father, run." She heard her cry, immediately choking at the panic and fear that sent her stomach to her feet.
Her father looked helpless and confused as he was grabbed by one of the intruders, and hurled against the wall with a gun pointed at him.
"Fanny..." Her father gasped, voice weak and face pale.
"Are not." She screamed and staggered toward where he stood, fighting to get to him.
After only taking a few steps, a cold metal object was pressed against her throat, a body behind her causing her to freeze and hold her breath.
"Now, you don't want to anger us, do you?" A warm voice rang in her ear.
'Please, stop… please… just… leave him alone…"She gasped, cold sweat breaking out all over her body.
A deep laugh made her shiver.
"Oh baby, we will, you know? But we're being given clear instructions here."
Gwen.
Suddenly it all made sense to her.
Gwen didn't want to help her, Gwen sold her out to men she didn't know if they were Phoenix who attacked Michel or Davies like Gwen.
The man pressed the knife harder against her throat, the sharp blade pinching her skin, forcing her back to her chest.
When her father's gaze met hers, Fanny nearly collapsed.
"Dad..." She whispered as one of her hands reached out, wanting to touch him, wanting to tell him she loved him, felt it was important for him to know in that moment.
That's when the third man in the house spoke up, telling both the man holding her in place and the other man pointing a gun at her father.
"What about this old man?"
"Stop questioning him and get rid of him." He answered.
"Are not." A scream rose from Fanny's throat, throwing her body forward again and nearly killing herself in the process, the knife leaving a trail of blood on her neck.
"Enough with this trash." The third intruder grabbed her, helping the man behind her to hold her up as her knees began to buckle beneath her, feeling faint.
"No. Leave him. Please.."
"Let's go."
Two men carried Fanny out of the house as she kicked and screamed, her eyes fixed on her father.
But by the time they had taken her out, she heard three gunshots.
This was followed by the sound of a body hitting the floor.

Charles closed another drawer of the giant chest Gwen and Carlos had in their bedroom and suppressed a groan.
They've rummaged through Gwen's furniture and so far haven't found a single thing that could actually be related to her.
Throwing a glance at Michel, he saw his mafia brother close the door to a shelving unit and head towards the walk-in closet.
"Where did she end up hiding?" He cursed as he started searching each space again, taking her designer bags to rummage through.
Charles joined in and sighed.
"This one's nothing. Vengo and Audrey's room is by far the worst. No wonder they're planning an expansion. They need more space for their baby."
Michel went through the huge shoe collection, tossing around whenever he arrived empty-handed.
That was until he discovered her suitcases were hidden behind a row of long evening dresses.
Pulling one out, he unlocked the luggage and was immediately confronted with a number of suspicious items.
A cell phone, some notebooks, and a few packs of birth control pills.
These pills are self-explanatory as Gwen is clearly trying her best not to get pregnant with Carlos' child.
But the other two items were definitely something they could use.
"Charles," Michel calls his mafia brother over and shows Charles his findings.
"Is this a diary?" he asked, rummaging through his notebook.
But, his question was answered immediately when they found out that they had actually been dating since two years ago - when Gwen and Carlos were newly married.
"My God, she used these to track your movements. Listen, she wrote down all the meetings and outings you did." Charles pointed out a few of her notes, shaking his head.
"What about cell phones?"
"It's password protected," Michel growled, tucking it into his blazer jacket anyway.
They continued to search until it was Charles' turn to spot a small black device from among Gwen's jewels.
He doesn't even have to tell Michel anything because once he curiously presses the play button, familiar voices instantly fill the walk-in closet, instantly drawing attention second-in-command.
"Yes, we know. But she has proven herself to us many times. I don't necessarily see the need to kill her if we can arrange and remove her in this way. A place to live. new and some security will be easy, sir." Charles's voice was as clear as crystal.
