Whenever she feels low, her friends are always there to listen and help her.
What should she do now?
This angers Michel...
And on top of that, he had a fiancée.
A fiancee.
She hated to admit it to herself, but Fanny found herself wondering about the girl.
Farrah. She is very beautiful. And charming. Experienced. Just like Gwen and Audrey.
Maybe Andy was right.
Maybe she should avoid Michel from now on.
The house was big enough, and even though her room was directly across from him, she could barely manage to face him during breakfast and dinner.
And even then, she doesn't necessarily need to talk to him.
The only thing that can get a little difficult is physical therapy.
But she couldn't understand why Christian couldn't help Michel if she offered to do something else instead.
Yes, she will start avoiding him from now on. No matter how hard it will be for her.
This will be for her own good.

"Michel. Can you pay attention for a moment?" Carlos nudged him on the shoulder as they were sitting in the office, discussing some business issue.
Michel rolled his eyes as he shoved another cigarette between his lips.
He has definitely smoked more in the past few days.
"So Mr. Aiden has authorized the payment. It will be a good amount. The only thing we need to decide now is whether we want to split it among us or invest in anything. " Vengo crossed his legs as he leaned back in his chair, taking a sip of brandy.
"The Cabarets can use some of that money. They've got a lot of business, we can invest in an extension." Michel casually suggested.
Carlos laughed.
"Are you sure that's not how you make up for Kaylin? She's still pretty angry at you." He continued to laugh, playfully slapping Michel's knee, earning a glare from his cousin.
"Why? How is he?" Andy frowned as he smoked a cigarette.
Carlos raised his hand and shrugged, a big smile on his lips.
"No clue, but let me tell you. When Charles and I went there yesterday, she gave us a cold face. I mean Kaylin always asks about Michel - all of them. We all know they've been having sex for years."
"We don't need any complications in our business affairs, Michel. What if Farrah knew this? The Wilsons frequent the Cabaret house." Vengo swiveled his chair toward his second-in-command, a deep frown on his face.
Michel glared at Carlos again for opening his mouth before turning back to Vengo.
"Kaylin and I have an understanding, so can we drop this topic for now?"
"Uh, but she seems quite annoyed when..."
"Shall we return to the old topic?" Charles interrupted Carlos by gathering himself, checking his wristwatch, and then seeking eye contact with Vengo. He's really not a fan of getting into talks about women or anything that isn't purely business.
He also understands that this is only Michel's concern, so he should be the one to shoulder all the responsibility if the situation needs to be rectified.
"I think we should split the money. You and Audrey can use it when the baby is born and some of us want some money to spend on our own hobbies. If Michel wants to invest in stocks his part into the Cabaret house, he can do it." He added in a calm tone.
Everyone seemed to agree with Charles' suggestion, except for Michel, who, once again, drifted away with his thoughts.
Even Kaylin's situation did not occupy his mind.
All he could think about was Fanny avoiding him.
Over the past week and a half, she actually had the guts to send Christian to him for treatment and even sometimes missed dinner or breakfast for some lame reason like medical training… she registered online.
What's going on?
He knew she was doing it on purpose.
And he doesn't like it. Not a jot.
So he needs a plan.
He needed to come up with some bad excuse to go talk to her.
After completing some business, Michel decided to go to the infirmary.
What's better than just telling her some bullshit about why he's there without acknowledging that she's the reason.
He can always say something like his shoulder is still giving him trouble or some kind of crap like that.
But his plan was put on hold when he arrived and Fanny was nowhere to be seen.
Instead, he finds Christian there, sorting some blood samples.
"Hey. What are you doing here? Is everything okay?"
Michel frowned at him and pondered whether he should immediately ask her where she was.
Then again, the last thing he wants is for people to start talking about this.
He doesn't want to have to deal with other people asking questions he doesn't even know the answers to.
It's not like he understands why he needs to see her.
It only annoys him that she is clearly staying away from him.
"No. Is Andy here? He said he'll be here and I need to talk to him..." Michel lied through his teeth, hoping it sounded reasonable.
"You know... about some business." He added, clearing his throat, and sat down in his chair.
But Christian seemed too busy to spot any oddities in Michel's behavior.
Instead, he was surprised to reply to Michel immediately.
"Yes, he was here a while ago. But just to pick up Shortlegs. They went to get something to eat, I think."
Short Legs. Did their doctor even call her by that stupid name?
When Christian saw the sour expression on Michel's face, he immediately recalled Michel's last outburst about the name, giving him an apologetic smile.
"Sorry. It's just that all the boys call her that and..."
Michel didn't even give him a chance to finish his sentence as Michel immediately turned around and walked out of the room.

"Are you sure about this?" Fanny asked Audrey hesitantly as she sat in front of the girl's dressing table in the room, her back to the mirror as she prepared.
"Of course, I'm sure," Audrey replied, adding another coat of mascara to Fanny's lashes.
She was surprised when Audrey burst into her room two hours before picking her up and getting ready for the dinner party they were hosting today.
Apparently, some of the Black Roses' close friends were invited, including some from the Wilson family, that is, Farrah, the girl to whom Michel was engaged.
