Blair
My heart dropped into my ass and I screwed my eyes shut.
I heard Lucifer lean back in his seat and when I peeped one eye open,
He was already staring at me emotionlessly.
"I'll leave you guys alone." The doctor said before leaving quickly.
It was silent again. Deadly silent as Lucifer looked at me.
I didn't know what to feel. I didn't know what to say.
What if it's Aiden's?
Tears welled up in my eyes as he kept on staring intensely at me.
Then, he spoke in a deep, low voice.
"Baby Satan." He said, chuckling darkly to himself.
I gave him a sad smile and he raised an eyebrow.
"It...could be Aiden's." I admitted quietly and he froze.
His eyes darkened and he stood up, hovering over me. His face was inches away from mine now.
"Mine." He said darkly, pointing to my stomach and I furrowed my eyebrows. "Don't ask questions." He finished.
Before I could reply, he kissed my head and walked out of the room, leaving me in a confused mess.
"What he said." I heard Brookes voice come from the corner of the room.
I laughed slightly, still a bit upset.
What if it really isn't his? What if he leaves me?
What if he kills me?
"Hey, it's going to be okay. He loves you." Brookes said, walking over to my hospital bed.
She threw herself next to me and I nodded slowly, giving her a smile.
"Thank you. For everything." I told her and she grabbed my face and kissed my cheek.
"No problem, Love." She said in a British Accent.
I placed my head on her shoulder and closed my eyes, only to fly right back up when the door slammed open.
In the doorway stood an obviously angry Dale. His eyes immediately landed on me and he lunged forward.
"You Bitch! How could you not tell me I'm going to be an uncle!" He yelled, jumping on both me and Brookes.
"I just got the news! How did you find out?" I asked him and he smacked my head.
"Your man told me!" He said and my mouth fell open.
I looked over to the doorway to find a smirking Lucifer.
He looked at me for a while before he entered and sat on the chair.
I rolled my eyes and hugged Dale, kissing all over his face.
"I missed you!" I said, grinning brightly at him.
He grinned back at me and squeezed me tightly.
"I missed you more! I brought you some of my clothes!" He said and I sighed happily.
He got up and Brookes sighed in relief as all of his weight came off of her.
He glared at her and she blew him a kiss. He rolled his eyes, but a slight smile was still evident on his face.
Brookes got up and kissed my head again.
"I'm leaving for now. But I'll see you at home?" She asked and I smiled and nodded.
She gave me a thumbs up and left with Dale,
Who, from the doorway, gave me a wink before leaving with Brookes.
"Ready?" Lucifer asked, already getting up.
I nodded and started getting up. He took my hand and pulled me up before wrapping his arm around my shoulders.
As we walked out of the room and down the hallway of the hospital, I looked up at him.
"Can I stay with you tonight?" I asked him and he glanced at me.
"Mhm." He answered, kissing my head and pulling out his phone.
We got to the front desk and he started signing me out while I stood there,
Staring at him.
He glanced at me with a raised eyebrow and rolled his eyes when I grinned at him.
"You're hungry." He said and I smiled sheepishly.
"Yes." I said, hugging him from the side.
He shook his head and finished signing before taking my hand and leading me outside.
I got in his car and he stood outside before taking out his phone.
He held it to his ear and curiosity took over me.
Slowly and silently, I rolled the window down. Just enough so that I could hear his call.
"Carter is in charge for a year. Do not contact me." He spoke coldly into the phone.
He's taking time off? For me?
He put his phone back in his pocket and I got out of the car.
He was sitting on the hood of the car. I walked over to him and hugged him.
"Thanks." I whispered and he wrapped his arms around my waist, holding me tightly.
"No problem." He said, kissing the side of my head.
Pulling back slightly, I wrapped my arms around his neck and looked at him.
My mind started running a race with my heart. Anxiety rose in me as the news of my pregnancy finally settled.
"You're scared." He said and I sighed, rolling my eyes.
He sees right through me.
"I know you say it's yours. But what if...what if it's not?" I told him, stepping out of his grip.
He sighed, running a tatted hand through his hair.
"You're expecting the worst from me. You want the bad reaction, that I'm not giving you." He spoke darkly.
"I love you, Blair. So fucking much." He said, grabbing my face. "But you make me so fucking mad sometimes." He finished, sighing.
"I know." I told him and he pecked my lips.
"We'll figure this out. Somehow." He told me and I nodded.
He was the greatest. He always knew exactly what to say to get me to agree with him.
Eventhough his eyes were dead, his words spoke what he felt.
His actions spoke even louder than his words.
I could never see myself with anyone else. I could never see him with anyone else.
"Okay. Let's go get my food." I told him and he rolled his eyes.
"Yes, Boss." He replied blankly and I laughed, pecking his cheek before I hopped back into the car.
Shaking his head, he massaged his temple before he got in as well.
He turned on the car and pulled out of the parking lot.
His silver eyes sparkled under the glow of the sunlight.
His tongue darted out briefly and ran over his full, pink lips, wetting them.
His free hand grabbed mine and he glanced at me, always making sure that I was okay.
And because of this I knew that,
He loved me, just as much as I loved him.
