Blair
Zayn pulled away and smirked down at me.
He lifted me up, helping me climb into the vent before getting in himself.
The vent was small and dusty. The buckets of paint infront of me made me feel more clustered.
Zayn signaled for me to start moving and I did, pushing the buckets along as I moved forward.
We crawled silently through the vent for a while, bending corners whenever he signaled for me to.
Soon we reached another vent that looked down into a room.
That's when I realized that it was the Principal's Office.
I looked at him wide-eyed as I stared down at all of the complaining teachers and students.
Zayn came up right behind me until I felt his cold breath on my shoulder.
He reached forward and silently ripped off the cover of the vent.
Then he handed me a bucket and smirked.
He grabbed one for himself and opened it before looking back at me.
'Get ready.' He mouthed.
He held the bucket over the hole and so did I. In sync, we poured the contents of the bucket onto everything and everyone.
Screams erupted again and I tried my best not to laugh as Zayn pulled me away.
We ended up at another vent and he broke it off before jumping down.
He landed in a clear part of the hallway before reaching his hands up for me to jump.
I shook my head frantically and he rolled his eyes and reached his hands higher.
"Princess, jump." He said seriously and I sighed and closed my eyes.
I jumped, expecting to land on the ground but instead his arms wrapped around me securely.
My eyes opened and they locked onto his emotionless ones.
He placed me on the floor and dragged me down the hall quickly.
"Hey!" Someone shouted from behind us.
But Zayn didn't turn around.
He walked toward the doors quicker and just when I thought he would leave,
His hand slammed down on the Fire Alarm.
The loud blaring noise filled the entire school and water poured from the roof.
Well at least we know it works.
My body shook as I laughed loudly, tears eventually coming to my eyes.
We ran through the parking lot and he unlocked his car and opened the door for me.
"You're a bad influence." I stated, still chuckling.
"Really?" He asked, leaning against the open door.
"Yes." I replied, grinning ear to ear as I stared back at him.
Then he smirked and signaled me with his head.
"Come here." He said seriously and I walked closer.
He gripped my waist and looked down at me before he leaned closer.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and closed my eyes.
His lips brushed against mine slowly and butterflies immediately erupted in my stomach.
But then his lips shifted to my ear and I felt him smirk against my skin.
"Stop me then." He said deeply and I pulled away blushing.
I slid into the car and he stared at me with an emotionless face while his eyes shone in amusement.
He shut the door and jogged around the jeep before getting in and starting it up.
We sat in silence for a while until I broke it,
By sneezing.
He glanced over at me with a raised eyebrow and I furrowed mine.
Immediately after sneezing again, I started feeling weak.
"What, Blair?" He asked.
"I feel...sick." I said, leaning my head against the door.
He glanced at me again before he entwined his fingers with mine.
"Sleep, Baby." He said lowly and my heart fluttered.
Nodding slowly, I closed my eyes and went to sleep.

I woke up tucked into my bed with a warm washcloth on my forehead.
Almost instantly after waking up I started coughing and sneezing.
A few moments later, Zayn walked into my room with a tray of stuff.
"Better?" He asked as he placed it on my nightstand.
I shook my head and he nodded. He picked up a bowl with what I'm assuming is soup.
"How's Dale?" I managed to get out.
"Good. Just ate." He said blankly and I nodded.
He sat next to me and stirred the soup for a while before raising the spoon to my mouth.
"I'm not hungry, Zayn." I said, burying myself in the blankets.
"Eat." Was all he said and I sighed and opened my mouth.
When the soup touched my taste buds, I was in love.
I swallowed quickly and opened my mouth again. Zayn smirked knowingly and I rolled my eyes,
"Who made this?" I asked after a while.
"Santa." He said sarcastically and I rolled my eyes again.
"You can cook?" I questioned and he nodded slowly.
I finished eating the soup and he put the bowl back on the tray.
Then he picked up a bottle of juice and handed it to me.
"Medicine." He said, pointing to the juice.
I took a sip, but thankfully I didn't taste the medicine.
Then he got up with the tray and was about to leave.
"Zayn?" I called.
"Yes?" He answered, turning around to face me.
"Can you stay?" I asked hopefully and he nodded before walking back over.
He put the tray back on the nightstand and laid next to me.
Stretching his arm out, he pulled me closer to him so that I was laying with my head on his chest.
He rubbed circles on my back and I listened to his heartbeat.
It was beating slowly. I wanted to ask him about it but I knew he'd just brush me off.
I adjusted my head on his chest and closed my eyes.
"Night, Lucy." I said and he pinched my arm.
I laughed softly into his chest and he rubbed the spot that he pinched.
"Goodnight, Princess." He replied.
Not long after that, I fell right asleep.
With only one thought in my mind.
Maybe the Devil isn't that bad, after all.
