Blair
I woke up and did my usual morning routine.
Getting dressed for school, I went downstairs and turned on the TV and grabbed a bowl.
I poured cereal into the bowl and listened to the Weather Forecast as I made my breakfast.
Dale strolled downstairs minutes later.
He looked weird. Bags under his eyes, zombie walk and heavy breathing.
"What's up, D?" I asked and his neck snapped in my direction.
"The fucking flu. That's 'what's up'? He said and I laughed.
"You can't go to school today, D." I told him.
"Why? I'm not killing anybody." He shrugged and walked slowly toward the fridge.
"Actually-" I started off saying.
"Shut the fuck up!" He yelled, narrowing his eyes at me.
Laughing, I walked over to him and kissed his cheek.
"Go upstairs and I'll bring you some soup." I told him.
He gave me a smile and nodded slowly. He walked back up the stairs and I started making his soup.
A few minutes later I checked the pot to see if it was finished and when I turned around,
I screamed.
And I know you can guess why.
Zayn was sitting behind the counter on one of the stools.
He sat staring at me. His silver eyes piercing into my soul.
Then he smirked slightly and got up, then walked around the counter.
My heart pumped in my chest as he approached and I stood frozen in place.
Finally, he stood infront of me and stared down at me.
"Scared you?" He asked lowly, a little smirk on his face.
"No." I lied confidently and his smirk got bigger.
I turned back around and stirred the pot,
"Really?" He questioned, playing along.
"Yeah. You need to work on that." I said and a deep chuckle came from him.
My heart sped up when I heard that and I mentally cursed myself for feeling this way.
While I was stuck in my thoughts, his arms wrapped around my waist from behind me.
His chin rested on my shoulder and his breaths hit my neck, making me shiver.
"Who's sick?" He asked lowly.
"Dale." I replied, stirring the pot one more time before turning off the fire.
Stepping out of Zayn's grip, I walked over to the cupboard and got a bowl before walking back over.
He again, wrapped his arms around my waist when I came back.
I filled the bowl with the hot contents and carried it upstairs to him on a tray.
Knocking softly on his door, I entered and placed the tray near his bed.
"Dale, I'm leaving. I'll be back later to check on you, okay?" I told him.
He just nodded in response and started eating his soup.
I walked back downstairs and found Zayn standing in the living room.
"Ready?" He asked and I nodded, giving him a smile.
He reached out, silently telling me to place my hand in his.
I did and he led us outside to his jeep. He opened the door for me, as usual and then got it.
When he came in I was buckling my seat belt and he just sat there staring at me.
"What?"I asked, laughing slightly.
He shook his head before leaning forward and pecking my lips.
My heart did it's thing and I blushed as usual.
I turned and looked out the window to hide it but,
"I see your reflection in the glass, Love." He stated, a slight bit of amusement in his voice.
I turned to look at him and gave him a serious look, to which he rolled his eyes and kissed me again.
While I covered my cheeks, he pulled out of the driveway and sped down the road.
I reached forward and started searching through the radio stations, looking for a good song.
When I finally found one, I grinned widely and started screaming the lyrics.
"IF YOU LOVE ME LET ME GOOOO!" I yelled, being dramatic by sinking in my seat.
Zayn just looked at me. His face was emotionless but his eyes told a different story.
I screamed lyrics the entire way to school and even when we pulled up,
I still didn't stop screaming until Zayn turned the car off.
"You're coming in today?" I asked happily and he nodded.
He got out and opened the door for me. But as I got out, I saw Jordan's car pulling in.
My eyes widened and instantly, Zayn knew what I was looking at.
"If he talks to you, I'll kill him." Zayn said seriously and I laughed, pushing his shoulder playfully.
"Lucifer, behave." I said, taking his hand and attempting to drag him inside.
But he just pulled me toward him and hugged me.
I was immediately hit by his warmth as I hugged him back.
His smell only added to the feeling inside of me and at that moment,
I didn't want to let him go.
"Moment's over, Blair." He said, a hint of humor in his voice as he pulled away.
When he looked down at me his eyes were bright.
He grabbed my hand was about to lead us inside when the thing I dreaded the most,
Happened.
Jordan approached.
Zayn's jaw immediately ticked. He stared at Jordan coldly the entire time.
I bit the inside of my cheek out of fear as noticeably, Zayn struggled to control himself.
"Blair! Hey!" He greeted, coming to hug me until he saw who was standing behind me.
He backed away with wide eyes and I gave him a questionable look.
He just shook his head and walked away without any warning.
I turned to look at Zayn who was still staring coldly at him.
"Lucifer, you scared him." I said, turning to look at him.
"I scare everyone." He replied, shrugging his shoulders carelessly.
He took my bag out of my hands and slung it over his shoulder.
Grabbing my hand, he led us into the building.
This is going to be a long day.
