Blair
I sat, staring at Zayn as chaos broke out around us.
People screamed and dropped to the floor to protect themselves.
We were the only ones sitting. My hands shook as fear took over.
Zayn's eyes started darkening and eventhough his face was emotionless, his eyes were speaking to me.
I got under the table just as he stood up. He flipped it and I braced myself.
It landed just infront of me, acting as a barrier.
He stood there, his face hardening as the seconds passed.
The gunfire had ceased and now multiple footsteps approached.
"Lucifer, what a pleasant surprise." A voice chuckled.
Zayn was silent, staring at the person with his cold eyes.
The table blocked my view of the person and I was too afraid to look.
"Where's the little lady you brought?" The voice asked and Zayn's jaw visibly ticked.
"Behind this table." He said, pointing to it.
My eyes widened and I stared up at him, begging him with my eyes to protect me.
But he didn't look at me.
"Well, that was easy." The voice laughed and footsteps came closer.
"But you'd be fucking stupid to touch her." Zayn said, rolling his eyes and looking down at his watch.
Then he folded his arms behind his back and stared at the armed men that surrounded him.
"Are you stupid?" Zayn asked darkly, stepping closer to the person.
"Leave now and I'll deal with this later," He paused and so did his footsteps. "Or stay and I'll kill you where you stand."
That's a shitty deal, I thought
"How about none?" The voice laughed.
"Lucifer, Lucifer, Lucifer. Can't the Devil see that he's outnumbered?"
Zayn's face contorted into a sick grin, that turned into a quiet chuckle, before turning into a full laugh.
This wasn't an ordinary laugh.
It was filled with pure evil.
At this point, I was really scared. Not at all the guns around me,
But of Zayn.
Then his laugh cut. As if he never made a sound.
"Shoot, you die. Leave, you die. Run, you die. Die," He smiled. "So does your family." He finished.
Zayn pulled a chair out calmly. He sat, leaning back and massaging his temple.
"L-" The man was cut off by Zayn slamming his hands down on a nearby table.
"Look, I don't fucking have time for this." He said harshly before getting up and throwing the chair.
It went flying in the air. Then it crashed down and I heard a man scream out.
It probably hit him.
"Blair. Cover your ears." Zayn's voice demanded.
I did just that.
I watched as he snapped his fingers a single time.
Confusion took over me and I removed my hands slightly and looked over the table.
I immediately screamed, startled by the scene infront of me.
Men started falling as more masked men came in, shooting at them.
Bodies fell like rain, hitting the floor and leaving rivers of blood.
The sound of screaming and loud gunshots were deafening, giving me an instant headache.
I watched in absolute horror as Zayn approached a man swiftly before shoving a blade into the man's neck.
He twisted it and pulled it back out.
I watched as blood sprayed out of the wound and he quickly held onto it.
Tears formed in his eyes, making my heart ache as I sat there, watching him gasp for air.
He fell to the floor and more tears came out as he struggled.
Before I knew it, tears were streaming down my face as my body shook violently.
Zayn squatted down to his level, watching him intensely as he took his final breath.
By the time he stood back up, the gunfire had ceased.
There were dead bodies everywhere. Both innocent and bad people lay dead everywhere.
A nasty sob left my mouth and Zayn's eyes snapped to mine instantly.
He dropped the knife and walked over, kicking a few bodies out of his way.
As he approached me, I couldn't see the old Zayn.
All I saw was a murderer.
"Blair." He called, his voice low and deep.
"Stay away from me!" I said as he came closer, making me back up.
"You have to be fucking kidding me." He mumbled, shaking his head.
"Everyone out. Now!" He yelled, his voice echoing throughout the walls.
Fast footsteps left, until the room was completely silent.
"Come here." He said coldly, staring down at me as I sat on the ground shaking.
"No." I cried, squeezing my eyes shut.
I heard him sigh and his footsteps approached and I kept my eyes closed.
He sat next to me, his presence was alarming and I scooted away.
He sighed again and leaned against the wall.
No one said anything until I broke the silence.
"You watched him die." I whispered, opening my eyes and looking down at my trembling hands.
"Pleases me." He replied darkly, staring up at the roof.
"It's scary seeing you like this." I said, bringing my knees up to my chest.
"Did I scare you?" He asked emotionlessly.
"Yes." I said and everything was silent.
We were both lost in our own thoughts.
Then he stood up and turned around to face me. He extended his hand toward me and shakily,
I took it.
He placed his hands on my waist and looked down at me.
He started swaying us slightly and I stared at him in confusion.
"Dance with me." He said, twirling me and I laughed slightly, forgetting about the dead bodies around me.
"Right now? There's more blood than music." I stated.
"Shut up and dance." He said, pulling me closer to him.
I leaned my head on his chest, dancing to the beat of his heart.
We stayed like that for a long time because now,
It was way darker outside.
I pulled back slightly, looking around, then back at him.
"I'm still afraid, Lucifer." I said, getting lost in his silver orbs.
"I know." He said lowly.
"But that won't stop you from killing, will it?" I asked, sighing.
He smiled before smashing his lips against mine.
