~Maya's POV~

If someone could have told me that by the end of this year I could be a mother, I could have said that the person had lost it. But here I am, a mother of three beautiful souls. Three delightful surprises, two of which were anticipated and one that was a complete surprise. It's kind of a funny coincidence that even though we carry our children for nine months, they end up looking more like their fathers. I mean, we should take the credit. My kids don't look like me. None of them do, except for my girl. She's got my eyes. Zion claims that he is able to differentiate between Noah and our other son, but I am unable to do so. They look the same to me, and if anything, he will be the one telling me which one is which. I am so tired. I could have compromised and agreed to a c-session if I had known that there were three of them. We were set on having a natural birth, but believe me when I say that if I had known I was carrying three babies, I never would have chosen that route. If I had known, I might have objected. I was hoping for a cesarean section.


Zion and I have made the decision to extend our time here in M-City. Today is the day that my family will finally be joining me. Since giving birth two weeks ago, everyone has been very wonderful to me and my newborns. There is still a question mark over the naming of one of my sons. Due to the fact that we were not expecting him, we were in no rush to give him a name; therefore, we have decided to take our time in coming up with the ideal moniker for him. Everyone is extremely kind and helpful. My father-in-law has been doing okay, I guess, but you can see that he's happy. On the other hand, Emma has been keeping a few things to herself as of late. Grandma told me that based on the appearance of things, it seemed like they were taking things gradually; yet, I can't wait for them to tell me that they are actually together. The man is deserving of happiness, and while I am aware that Emma will never be able to take my godmother's place, I cannot deny that she is unique in her own right.

I sat up and checked if the kids were still sleeping so I could take a quick shower before they were up. I took advantage of the fact that they were still sound asleep to take a speedy shower after observing that they were still dozing off. Zion was waiting for me outside the bathroom door, and he was holding one of them as I came out. He had such a charming appearance, holding one of our sons. He grinned down at me as he glanced up at me. I needed to find something to wear, so I went inside the closet. Zion began speaking while I was applying body cream to myself.

'So I was thinking,"


'Mmm."

Since today is the day when your family will be visiting and he does not yet have a name, how about we allow my dad and your dad to take turns naming him?


'That sounds like a good idea, babe. I swear I ran out of names." He put the baby down and approached me.

'How was your day today?" He asked.

'I'm still getting used to being a mother, but I'm not going to complain. How about yours?"

'Not so bad. I gave Lucas a call and asked him to alter the kids' bed in J-City because the one they made before was just big enough for two kids. I planted a passionate kiss on his lips after encircling my hands around his neck. I observed that he had a somewhat rigid posture.

'What is it?" While he was adjusting his tie, he perched on the head of the bed.

'Well, I've been meaning to tell you this all along, but I didn't because I didn't want you to be anxious while you were pregnant at the time. I'm sorry that I'm only telling you this now, but please don't take it personally. I gave him a suspicious glance.

'Nevertheless, it began the week that we arrived here. Kelly made her way to my place of business. I am not sure how she passed security, but she did, and she started touching herself in front of me. Flashing me and all that, but I swear I never touched her, though I might have watched as she did so."

'You what?"

'All I wanted to do was show her that she was mistaken. Okay, all I wanted was for her to realize that she had no impact on me at all. I wanted to see the frustrated look on her face. I only love you and only you." Despite the fact that he cupped my face, I'm not sure how I feel about him being in the presence of another woman touching herself in front of him.

'Did you get hard?"

'Never!"

'All right, then."

'There's more," he said as I heaved my brow. 'She's been stalking you, Maya." She was able to obtain your number and has been trying to get in touch with you, but she has been unable. The first time she called, Sophia was using your phone, therefore for the time being she is under the impression that the number is incorrect. She has been stalking both of us, but she has stopped for the time being. It's you she's after. We are not sure what she wants and we can't report her as we have no evidence, so we can't do anything right now except for tightening your security."

The whole idea of being followed by someone makes my skin crawl. What exactly does she want from me, if I may ask? I had the impression that we had moved past the issue of her wanting my husband. In all candor, I do not have a positive reaction to this. What is she looking for?

My trance was broken when I heard a knock at the door, and Zion went to open it.

'Lord Archer, I was sent to inform you that Lady Archer's family has arrived."

After hearing that, I immediately forgot about everything else concerning that psychotic woman and dashed outdoors to meet up with my family. I was immediately greeted by the unmistakable sound of my father's voice as I entered the sitting room.

'Cupcake." I was so happy to see him that I ran up to give him a bear hug. When I turned around, I saw my mother, so I gave her a hug, and then my sister did the same. I cannot express how relieved I am that we have finally become one contented family, unaffected by competition or anything else. They have been quite encouraging. Zion and my father now have a wonderful relationship with one another.

'I want to see them. Where are they?" Ivy asked. I took her hand in mine, and together we walked into my bedroom; however, it appeared as though they had moved them to their room, so we proceeded to their room instead. I couldn't help but steal a look at my sister as we made our way toward the children's room. The joy on her face was contagious. The last time we spoke, she shared with me that she had a new acquaintance who wasn't judgmental, but she felt it was best to take things slowly with this new person. Nathan was never brought up once during our conversation. As soon as we walked into the room where the children were, she immediately made her way to where Sophia was resting. However, it is most possible that Sophia was no longer asleep and was instead engaged in playing when we entered the room.

'Oh my God, Maya. She is so beautiful." I smiled. I presented my children to my sister, and of course, my second son does not yet have a name for himself; but he will have a name by the time the day is over. After I asked one of the housekeepers to assist us with Noah, my sister and I returned to the sitting room. Ivy was reluctant to release her grip on Sophia. As soon as we entered the sitting room, I handed over my child to my father, and the servant handed Noah over to my mother. I went and took a seat next to my husband.

'Meet Noah," and my mother smiled as I introduced him. She brushed Noah's tiny head and peck it.

'Hey, Noah, nice to meet you." Mother added as she kept on kissing him non-stop.

'And please welcome Sophia. I'm sorry, but I won't be able to let go of this one. Ivy's stubborn refusal to put Sophia down to rest made everyone giggle. Dad looked at me.

'Are you not going to introduce him to us?" Zion and I exchanged glances with one another.

'About that, Maya and I chose to leave the naming to the two grandfathers because we thought we were going to have two babies, so we just named the two that we thought we were having." I noticed that both of the males were smiling.

'Aiden." My father-in-law said

'Logan." My father said

'Aiden Logan Archer. It appears to be flawless. You've been given a name at last, little one!" When Zion said that, everyone couldn't help but giggle.

'Zion, we can't call Sophia, Sophia?"

'What do you mean?"

'We already have a Sophia in the house." I watched as realization dawned on him.

'Aurora Sophia Archer," Grandma finally spoke.

'I love it. At least Sophia is still there. Sorry, Sophs, you have to share the name."

'Noah Oliver Archer," Grandpa said as he smiled. We both laughed, and he continued, 'Aurora has two names and Aiden has two. Why would Noah have one?" He asked as he furrowed his brow. Just like that, my kids finally were finally named.

Meeting the man behind Ivy's happiness

~Maya's POV~

I wanted to have a conversation with Ivy that was more on a sisterly level, so I invited her out. One that Ivy and I have not discussed in quite some time and never will again. It is going to be a lot of fun because I am going to be taking the kids out for the very first time. In the meantime, a breath of clean air would be sufficient. Because there would be five of us, I requested that the driver bring a vehicle with more passenger space. After that, he brought over the limo, and we got inside. Even though I am not very familiar with M-City, I do know where the majority of the restaurants are located, and because of this, we decided to eat at a restaurant that was located at the sea point. It featured a breathtaking panorama of the ocean. In addition to that, the restaurant received a boost from the sun, which illuminated its patio in an attractive manner. Ivy and I settled into our seats, then went ahead and placed our drink orders.

So tell me, how are things with you? Finally, I questioned it.

'Not bad, just trying to figure out where I fit in the scheme of things right now. My father is willing to hire me for the family business, but I'm not sure where I would fit in just yet.

You are aware that it will divert your attention away from the situation, correct?

'That is correct."

'If that's the case, what exactly is the issue?"

'My entire life has consisted of relying on mum and dad, and even now, if I work for dad, it feels very much like I am still dependent on them."

'True, but it's different. You are putting forth effort in order to earn money. You are not asking them for the money. My advice would be to take dad up on his offer, and once you've discovered what it is that you want most out of life, then you can make your exit. When it comes to pinning someone down, Dad isn't the type."

Our refreshment arrived, and the children continued to slumber, which provided us with an ample opportunity for conversation. 'So tell me, how is Nathan doing these days? After what happened, how are you guys doing? You know." She let forth a slight smile.

'You will never change, will you? Even though you are a mother, you still have a childlike quality about you. You mean after we slept together?" My face flushed with shame and embarrassment.

'Yeah, that."

'Well, I won't lie. I had a lot of respect for him, and I sincerely hoped that we could work things out. Before you even knew about it, I had already been seeing him for a while at that point. Even though you never slept with him, he continued to love you, and he refused to break off the engagement because of his feelings for you. That was one of the reasons I loathed you so much. I desired to have him all to myself. The moment I found out that he was my brother, it felt as if someone had poured a bucket of dirty cold water over me. It was difficult to comprehend. But Nathan and I are both adults, and because we were engaging in a forbidden relationship, we had to make the decision that would benefit both of us the most. We discussed things, despite the fact that it was challenging at first and occasionally went too far. We slept together a few times in the process. I had a feeling that it would be challenging for both of us, but eventually, we came to terms with the fact that we were siblings. And at this point, we don't even mind that we have a healthy dose of sibling rivalry.

'Are you sure you know I won't judge you, right?"

'I am aware of it, and I do mean it. I've moved on with Finn now. His hometown is M-City. He seemed to know every move I made, yet he was patient with me and loved me even when I couldn't love myself. At first, I wanted to use him as an escape from my issues; nevertheless, he seemed to know every move I made."

'You've got yourself a gentleman there," I said.

'I know, right?" She let a single tear fall from her eye. I assisted her in wiping it off.

'Listen, sis, I am here for you, and no matter what you do, I will never judge you. I promise you that. I am relieved that you have Finn, and I am relieved that he is patient with you, despite the fact that you may be a brat at times." We shared a laugh together. After our food was served, we sat down to enjoy the sun and the beauty of the ocean while we dined.

'Does he know you are here?"

'Yes, he is aware of it; but he was away on a business trip and will only be back today. I have to go to the bathroom right now."

She stood up and walked in the direction of the restroom. When I stood up to check on the children while they were lying in the strollers, I noticed that they were all fast sleeping. However, after I was finished, I was greeted by Kelly with a look of contempt on her face. I'm sorry, but I just don't have the time right now. I sidestepped the witch who was standing in front of me and returned to my seat without so much as giving her a second glance. At this time, what I lack is the necessary amount of energy. At some point, we just have to be the bigger person, and right now, I've chosen to be the bigger person. I continued to avoid her while sipping my juice. She then drew a chair to the table, sat down, and began hurling daggers at me.

'I'm sorry, but there is already someone sitting in that seat." Her pupils dilated before becoming brighter than before.

'Is Zion with you?"

'Why do you care?" She gave me a mischievous smile.

'As you can see, Zion and I have some kind of agreement in place. Since you know, you can't have sex since you just gave birth to the babies that were supposed to be mine." In order to better hear her bark, I leaned back and crossed my arms over my chest. Why does this woman have such an unhealthy fixation on Zion?

'Do you think that Zion's cock would even perk if you were to walk naked in front of him?" I uttered those words while taking a gulp from my drink. I watched as the expression on her face shifted.

'Why on earth would it perk up, you little witch? Since you are a witch, it is likely that you have done something to him in order to prevent him from developing romantic feelings for other women."

'I thought you had a little arrangement. Since you know, I can't have sex since I just gave birth." That enraged her to no end. She stood up and made an attempt to slap me. I swore the slap was going to hurt, but to my astonishment, it didn't even come close to landing on my face where it should have. I carefully rotated my head to look around and see what was going on.

'It really bothers me when other people pick on my family." Following Ivy's statement, there was a loud scream followed by a slap that could be heard throughout the restaurant's patio area. 'If you ever try to lay your devilish hands on my sister again, you will have to deal with me."

This particular type of Ivy is one that I have never encountered before. It didn't take long for Kelly to run inside the restaurant with a sheepish look on her face after seeing how dangerous Ivy appeared to be.

'Are you hurt?" She inquired, and my response was to shake my head. To have my sister's protection once more was incredible, and I am so grateful for that. When someone would punch me when I was in elementary school, she would immediately transform into a thug. She would go to battle against anyone who caused me difficulty. This situation brought to memory how she always looked out for my best interests while we were in elementary school together. I could not hold back the laughter.

She exclaimed with shock, 'What!"

'I was surprised to learn that you still had it in you." It made her giggle.

'Well, I once met with her. At the time, I was stupid. I kind of told her you were my sister. When she phoned me the other day, I told her that if she ever got within a certain distance of you, she would have to deal with me instead of you. It was just me showing her that I meant every word I said to her over the phone, and that was the only reason I did that." I climbed to my feet and gave her a hug. However, our embrace was broken off abruptly.

'Hey babe, I didn't know you would be here." Ivy and I turned to look at the source of the voice, and we were welcomed by a handsome face; I tilted my head to my sister, and she was flushing continuously. Therefore, I decided to take the initiative. I fucking hope I am not mistaken.

'You must be Finn? It's a pleasure to meet you. The man cracked a grin that reached all the way up to his ears. He put out his hand in an invitation for a handshake.

'It's a pleasure to meet you, and I believe your name is Maya. My baby's sister?" I had a rosy glow.

I try to push the thought out of my mind. 'Yes, I'm Maya."

'Lady Archer, your husband, is very fortunate to have you as his wife." He made a statement along the lines of 'Can I join you, ladies?"

I beckoned for him to take a seat and pleaded with him to do so.

I turned my attention to the man. If I hadn't known better, I would have sworn to myself that Ivy was under some sort of charm. The man gave off the appearance of being a responsible man who was capable of taking care of Ivy. Ever since Finn arrived, she's been getting red in the face like a girl who just fell in love for the first time. Never seen her this flushed before. Finn informed us that he arrived today and that he came to this restaurant to eat lunch before returning home to sleep.
