"Seriously how are we supposed to work with him prancing around in those suits?" "Try having your desk near his office, I don't get anything done"
"My god he's so fine but he barely speaks!"
"I bet I can get him to say a few words."
The women in the office are huddled together as they gossip about their boss Michael Fletcher. At 34 years old Michael has achieved his goals of graduating top of his class and becoming a boss. He's not your typical boss though, Michael is very good looking, takes care of himself, and cares about his job very much. But outside of his office walls, no one knows anything about him, is he married? Dating? Gay, straight- nothing. It drives them all mad.
"Mr. Fletcher I've got your vacation packet to sign for HR, and your 1 o'clock has been pushed up per your request."
"Thank you Annie" he smiles at his assistant standing in front of him "could you let me know when he gets here and cancel my lunch"
"Sure, will there be anything else?"
"No that's all thank you." She walks out shutting his office door
Michael Fletcher is a very serious man who knows not to mix home with business, he didn't care that everyone thinks he's way too serious, as long as his job and everyone else's jobs get done.
Being good at what you do shows results so a nice car to match his nice house was no surprise, but at 34 years old people worry about the life Michael was leading.
"Ok team" he calls his people into the conference room for a staff meeting "I will be gone a week no more no less, I won't be back until next Monday and it'd be really great if I wasn't bothered during that time. You all will report to Bradley here" he points to the man standing next to him "he will be signing anything in my absence, any questions they are to be directed to him. Bradley is the new me for the next week and he will fill you in on how to get in contact with him in a second." He looks at his watch "I have to get going but thank you all for working so hard and I will see you in a week, the floor is yours, Bradley."
"Thank you" They all watch him walk out of the conference room.
Going to his office Michael packed his briefcase and even though you'd never be able to tell he is excited about his vacation, and couldn't wait to get it started.

"I can't believe you're going home for spring break" Dakota's roommate stands in his room as he packs a duffle. "Seriously I'll help you pay for a ticket to Miami come with us."
"Thanks, Kev but I miss my family I'm excited to see them" "Ew family sucks but whatever man have a good time I guess."
Dakota couldn't wait to leave tossing his bag in the trunk of his car, saying bye to his dorm for a whole week with no regrets. He doesn't even care about the long drive from his campus because every minute of what's to come is worth it.
After the almost 2 hour drive Dakota makes it and parks the car, enjoying the scenery before he gets out of the car he looks around with an excited grin he can't seem to get off his face. Getting out and taking his bag Dakota heads for the front door walking in "hello?" He calls out as he walks inside the big house "I'm here"
"In here!" He hears a reply and follows the voice into the kitchen.
Stopping at the entrance with a smile he drops his bag "wow" taken by the sight
"You finally made it I was getting worried" Michael's smile grows as he drops the knife walking over to Dakota.
"Traffic" he replies unable to get another word out with Michael's lips already on his, they've waited for this for so long. Passionately kissing in the kitchen it's hard to pull away knowing seeing each other was all they could think about. "Are you cooking?" Dakota looks over Michael's shoulder at the countertop covered in ingredients and stove with pans on it.
"Maybe"
"I thought we agreed we wouldn't do anything for the next week"
"Yeah but that doesn't involve cooking, does it?" Michael lets go walking back to the counter
"It kinda does" Dakota takes off his jacket setting it down on the chair, "I thought we'd order in and when we got tired of that we'd go out to dinner."
"See going out contradicts our staying in all week plan but we can still go out, it's just that I'm seeing you for the first time in weeks so I wanted to make it special." Dakota stands next to him staring at everything on the counter "do you want to know what I'm making?"
"Yes tell me" Dakota turns opening the fridge for a bottled water
"I've got scalloped potatoes almost done in the oven, stake already cooked right there" he points "and now I'm making a salad. Plus I got that wine that you like so much"
"It all smells amazing, thank you" he moves closer kissing Michael "You're very welcome, want to set the table?"
"Sure." Knowing where everything is Dakota starts to set the table for 2 "So how was your game?"
"Oh my god babe it was amazing!" Dakota gets excited to tell him "you should've seen me on the winning touchdown, I was pushing guys off left and right, then this asshole flips me" he explains as he's arranging the plates and utensils, while Michael chops lettuce for their salad.
"Seriously?"
"Yeah but I was fine I cradled the ball tight, then I got up in time taking off until I made it!" He turns to Michael with a grin "then the crowd ran to the field chanting EARL 22 EARL 22!!" He chants making Michael laugh "it was crazy!"
"Sounds amazing I wish I could've seen it"
"Me too" he finishes and walks back to the counter "I have another game in a couple of weeks, maybe you could come then?"
Nodding "I'd really like that"
"Yeah?" Dakota stares at him making sure
