"I think so." he then rubbed his eyes. "Shh!! Wait." I said and grabbed the towel from the table and started to wipe his eyes.

"Come sit here." I motioned him to sit on the couch but he held my waist by both his hands and pulled me towards his chest.


"Kayish what are you doing?" My voice came as a whisper.

"Shhh! don't ruin the moments. Stay with me like this."

"Hugh!!" I gave him a genuine confusing look.


"Stay with me like this forever, Riya. I am happy whenever you are around. You are my family, my friend, and my life. Please be my girlfriend." he asked and I found myself nodding my head to his answer.

He flashed a genuine smile and brushed his lips against mine. I found myself responding to his kiss immediately as wrapping my hand around his neck. At first, the kiss was full of passion and slowness, and then we started to kiss like we are into fires.


His was devoured into mine making me feel like I'm on cloud nine and I want to stay like this but we both pulled away when we heard his phone was ringing.

It is really too much. He crossed his limit bringing his personal problems into professional life. He can't be serious. Truthfully, he is losing his reputation by showing his silly attitude.

Ohhh! God. Someone please give me a gun and tell me how to kill him in one shoot.

He has assigned a lot of works to my team, even though it is not his place to do. Then why did he hire me as the position of project manager? I have no idea.

He was very well aware that It won't work when he gives me pressure as workwise, so he targeted my team and challenged me indirectly.

How we are going to finish all these papers in one day. We can't complete this work within a day, at least, it will take one week.

"Miss. Kader, we have only finished half of the portion." Mr. Kane I assumed is a team leader informed me and I glanced at my wristwatch.

It's already passed 6 in the evening and I don't want to push them all. It's not their mistakes neither mine.

"Okay, submit them on my table, I will take care of this," I said rubbing my jaw thinking to solve the puzzle.

"It's okay Mr. Kane, we did our best. So don't be sorry." I gave him a polite nod to dismiss.

He gave me a small smile and set the file on my table before walking out of my office. I mentally groaned and picked the file from the table.

After checking the entire file, I walked into his office and set the file on his table.

"Already?" He raised his brow surprisingly as not believing his own eyes.

"We have finished half of the work and will complete the remaining papers by tomorrow." I boldly said to him.

"Miss Kader, I am not paying you for free and didn't ask any of your opinion or complaints. If I give some work that means you must have to finish them in time," he said harshly.

"Don't you think you are way too harsh towards my employees? I don't think you can able to finish the two sets of papers by today?" I said meeting his same harsh tone by folding my hands against my chest.

"What if I fire all your team members just pointing the reason for lack of knowledge?" He asked ignoring my statement completely.

My mouth hung opened when I heard him say firing about my employees. "You are doing this purposely, I know that" I quarrelled in anger.

"Then try to save your employees." He smirked and handed me a file. "I want this file tomorrow morning in my table." He sternly said and took his seat.

Hugh! How badly I wanted to glue him to the chair. Can anyone please give me a superglue?

Giving him one last glare I stormed out of his office. When I reached my office, all my employees were stood in front of the door wearing a pure shock expression on their faces while a few of them are shivering visibly.

I furrowed my brows and approached them. "Why are you still here, you can leave." I maintained my natural composure although I wanted to throw my frustration out.

"What if we get fired?" One of my employees asked.

"Hugh! How did you know?" I asked in disbelief.

"Our boss emailed us. If we don't complete the work by tomorrow morning, he will replace our place with other employees." His eyes were almost glossy while he speaking

"I have a family to run, so this job is so important," He added.

I let out a long breath. "I know how everyone is depending on your job." I tried to comfort them but what can I do in this hardship.

I thought for a bit and an idea came into my mind. "Are you willing to work for the whole night?" I asked expecting their answer as my favour.

"Yes." they all said in unison. "Okay then, come to my apartment. We will work together and will have a nice dinner." I winked at them.

Their face lit up with happiness as hope-filled their mind. That's my people. So supportive and dedicated. It's been one month since I am working in this office and they are very corroborating even though I am younger than them.

They seek my opinion even before they make a decision. They have supported me through my up and downs and it's my time to return my favour.

"Alright, guys! Let go." With that, we all headed to my apartment.

My apartment is not fit for fifteen members; somehow, they managed and did their work peacefully. No complaints, no lamentations.

When we get bore, we cracked some silly jokes to get rid of the sleep and again went back to our work.

Sweety was so understanding, she didn't disturb us. She played with other kids in the apartment and came at night to sleep.
