Elsie and I head through to join Cassie and Barry to find them making out on the sofa, “Give it a by.” I interrupt, my revenge for him doing the same to me earlier. Ben lifted his hand, flipping me off.
“Little brother, remember I am stronger than you, don’t make me embarrass you in front of your girlfriend when I come over there and drag you off.” I laugh.

Cassie and Elsie laugh, “Cock blocker.” Barry complains, which made us all laugh. He groans in frustration, pulling away from her and sitting up.
He glared at me, “You cock blocked me first. Call it payback.” I say smugly. He flipped me off, chuckling.
Elsie and I headed over to join them. I sat on the chair, grabbed Elsie and brought her onto my lap.
“Can we order now? I am so hungry,” Cassie says, “Yes. Do we know what yet?” Elsie questions.
“Yes. Pizza, burgers, and Chinese food.” Cassie replies brightly. It would seem we were ordering too much food after all, but I will keep my opinion to myself. I just hope it doesn’t go to waste because there are too many people out there who struggle to eat.
“I will go get us some wine,” I don’t think they had any in the house, “I will come with. Do you girls want or need anything else?” Barry asks.

The girls shake their heads. Elsie removes herself from my lap, letting me stand. I kiss her quickly, Barry doing the same to Cassie, and we head out.
“I didn’t know you were the type to get smitten, brother,” he smirks as we climbed into the car, “Smitten? What are you talking about? I don’t do smitten.”
“You know exactly what I mean. You like Elsie a lot. I have never known you to spend as much time with someone or act the way you do around her.” he seems rather happy with the news.
“I don’t want you mean,” I deny, “Bullshit. Admit it, you like her. You want to be with her,” he smirks.

I ignore him, putting some music on. He turns it straight off, “Bro, don’t be an ass. There is nothing wrong with you wanting more, Kellan. You must be honest with her, or you may lose her.”
My brother has always been the sensible one between us, always doing the right thing and knowing the right thing to say. Even though he is younger than me, I always wished I could be more like him, but sadly he and I were born into very different lives.
“I don’t know if I can. She is so pure, sweet and caring with a heart of gold. I will just end up hurting her, breaking her heart. Elsie deserves someone better than me. I don’t want to ruin her,” I sigh. Barry was right, but I honestly don’t believe I am the best option for Elsie.
Barry seemed taken aback by my response, probably because he isn’t used to me being as open and upfront with him, “Kellan, give yourself a little more credit. You are a good man, and I think Elsie would be good for you. You need to give her a chance.” He encourages.
He means every word he is saying, “I guess I could try.” It may not work, but my gut tells me Elsie would be worth trying for.
“You guess? No, you should,” he replies, “That is what I meant.” I chuckle.
We arrive at the store, heading in to get what we needed.

The four of us were still in living room watching movies. I am surprised how good of a night it has been, considering it was a double date with my brother.
“We are going to go to bed,” Barry announces, tossing the remote to us. Barry and Cassie have been whispering in each other’s ear for the last ten minutes, so I was expecting it, “Keep the noise down.” I chuckle.
“We can’t make any promises.” He winks, jumps to his feet and offers Cassie his hand, which she takes, and they rush off to Cassie’s bedroom like a pair of horny teenagers.
“Do you want to go to bed? Or watch the rest of the movie?” Elsie asks, glancing up at me. I kiss her softly, “We can watch the rest of the movie and then go to bed.” She nods, snuggling back into me.
I smile, kiss the top of her head, and turn my attention back to the movie. Everything Barry and I discussed earlier have been running through my head all night.
I pause the movie, “Bathroom break?” she asks, “No. I want to talk to you about something.” I try not to sound too nervous, but it was easier said than done.
She repositions herself, so she is straddling my waist and face on with me, “Everything, okay?” she places her hand on my chest, searching my eyes with hers.
“I hope so,” I take a deep breath, “Do you want to be with me?”
“I am with you,” a confused look covers her face. I need to find better words to use. I am not good with these things, “I mean in a proper relationship. Sorry, I suck at these things.” I nervously rubbed the back of my neck.
“Are you asking me to be your girlfriend, Kellan?” she is trying so hard to fight back a smirk, “Yes, I guess I am.” I laugh nervously.
I don’t even know if she wants the same thing. Maybe I should have asked her first because if she tells me, I don’t think I am going to like the feeling of rejection.
“Is it something you are interested in?” I whisper, “Very much so,” she smiles brightly and presses her lips to mine in a soft kiss. My entire body relaxed when I found out she felt the same.
“Though, I need you to be patient with me, angel, okay? I don’t exactly have much experience when it comes to relationships.” I think she may already know that, but I want to be honest with her.
“I don’t have much experience myself, so we can work through it together,” she encourages, “Yes.” I agree, stealing another kiss from her.
“Mmm, the rest of the movie can wait until tomorrow.” she moans into my lips. I hold onto her tightly, standing up and heading for her bedroom, our lips still attached.
She clings tightly to me, deepening the kiss. I lay her down on the bed, kissing over her neck and ran my hands down her body. Elsie whimpers, arching up from the bed, reacting to my touch.
I place my lips at her ear, “I want to take my time with you. Kiss and touch every inch of your beautiful, perfect body, angel.” I rasp.
Elsie moans loudly, shuddering, “You can do whatever you want to me, Kellan.” She breathes out.
I have never really been an attentive person, one for taking in the entire beauty of a woman, but I wanted to do nothing other than those things right now to Elsie. There is a connection between us, one I have never felt before, and it scares the hell out of me, but I am willing to see where it leads and hope I don’t fuck it up along the way.
