Sweet Aphrodite’s POV
　　I woke up with Lennox staring at me. His perfect face is the first thing I saw in the morning. His arm is my pillow while his other hand is caressing my hair gently. He smiled when our eyes met then he closed our distance to kiss me.
　　I blushed a bit after the kiss then I hugged him. He chuckled as he hugged me back.

　　“How’s your sleep, my Sweet?” His voice is husky as usual. I smiled hearing his voice then I pressed my face on his chest.
　　“Fine. Thank you for making me feel better and safe,” I murmured.
　　We stayed in that position for a while before we decided to stand and start fixing ourselves. Lennox brought me to the nearby stream. It is looks pristine and untouched. I bent down to see my reflection, attracted to the clear water..
　　I smiled in amazement but it vanished when I saw another woman’s face. I felt a warm feeling inside me and it’s like Aster is making me aware that she is just inside me.
　　I blinked then what I saw on the water is my face again. I feel scared. Would she succeed taking over my body? I will be gone and she will replace me in everything. She will be with Lennox. I hugged myself then rubbed my arms. As long as I can stop her, I will. I don’t know how but maybe I will figure it out?
　　“Come on, baby. Take a bath now,” Lennox said behind me.

　　My face heated. I glanced at him then I pointed the stream.
　　“I am going to bath myself… here?” I asked.
　　He grinned naughtily then nodded. I swallowed hard then scanned the area. I glanced on him again.
　　“Then why are you still here?”

　　He puckered his lips then he looked at me with his hypnotizing eyes.
　　“I am gonna watch you,” he uttered huskily.
　　I hit him on his arm. “You can go somewhere else while I take a bath,” I said. “I’ll be naked!”
　　He crossed his arm, tilted his head, and then looked at me as if he is challenging me. He let out a boyish grin and he’s just so gorgeous.
　　“Then that’s good!” he said proudly. I glared at him making him chuckled. “My Sweet, I have seen that perfect body a lot of times. I kissed every inch of that. Why are you being shy? You have nothing to hide!”
　　I acted like I am going to hit him again but he remained on his spot, standing there confidently. I turned my back to him. I have no choice.
　　“I’ll watch you,” he said naughtily.
　　I pouted a bit but he just laughed wholeheartedly. I removed my dress leaving my under garments.
　　“My Sweet, give me your underwear and clothes so I could wash it then I’ll dry it while you’re taking a bath,” he said.
　　“No!” I reacted violently then I glanced at him. He immediately scanned my body that I quickly covered with my hands. “I’ll wash it!”
　　I marched towards the deep part of the stream. I glanced on him and he’s already squatting on the land while staring at me seriously. His fingers are playing his lips. He raised his brow to me when he caught me looking at him. I rolled my eyes then I turned my back.
　　There is a stone beside me so I put my dress on top. I was about to remove my underwear but I felt him behind me. He gathered my hair and he put it on my shoulder. His finger lightly traced shapes on my back. I blinked then licked my lips anticipatingly.
　　“What are you doing?” I whispered nervously.
　　His cold breath fanned my nape that sent shivers down my spine.
　　“I’ll unhook your bra. I know it's hard to remove,” he whispered huskily.
　　I nodded and let him do it. When I felt it loosened, I quickly removed it fully.
　　I stepped to the deeper part and made sure that the water is already reaching my neck before I faced him. He is watching me intensely. I stuck my tongue out before submerging under the water.
　　My gaze flew to the door when it opened. Lennox entered the hut carrying my dried clothes. I tightened the blanket around my body to make sure that I am well-covered. I noticed his damp hair and his topless body.
　　“Here are your clothes, my Sweet.”
　　I accepted the clothes that he handed to me. It’s still a bit hot, probably because of the sunlight. He didn’t remove his gaze that’s why I raised my brow to him.
　　“What are you waiting for? Leave.”
　　He shook his head then sat on the wooden chair, waiting for me to move. He crossed his arms then relaxed himself. I made my face in annoyance then I stood. I let the blanket leave my body before I avoided his hot gaze. I wore my clothes as fast as I can.
　　Pervert!
　　After that, he handed me big bread. I didn’t speak and I just accepted it. But I'm wondering where he got this. I invited him to eat but he just shook his head and then he sat beside. His strong arms enveloped around me then he kissed the side of my forehead consecutively. I sighed and I leaned against him while I'm eating.
　　This kind of life is fine with me, as long as we are together.
　　He carried me after we went out the hut. I held on him like a koala, holding on his favorite tree. I hid my face on his chest then moment later, he started running. I can feel the harsh wind hitting us that it is bothering me but it seems like he isn’t affected.
　　It was not a long run because after few minutes, he stopped, and he gently put me down.
　　“We’re here, baby,” he murmured then he kissed me on my head.
　　I scanned the place and I saw a lot of old fashioned store. I feel like I am in the past.
　　“We’re at the market,” he informed.
　　He grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers. I smiled and I looked up to him. He smiled genuinely that melted my heart.
　　“We will buy essential things.”
　　My forehead creased and I started walking, too when he made a step.
　　“Why?” I curiously asked.
　　I looked at the creatures around us. I am sure that they are not humans. I even saw a lady with long pointy ears. Some have violet eyes, white hair, and other enchanting physical appearance. It’s magical.
　　“For our necessities. We are going somewhere.”
　　He suddenly stopped walking so I did the same. He stared me intently and when I was about to speak, he hushed me. He looks like he’s listening curiously on something. My brows furrowed when his eyes widened a bit then a smile spread across his lips and I think, his eyes are now misty.
　　“What? Where are we going?” I asked when he just stared at me in awe. What’s happening to him?
　　He smiled then brought my hand on his lips. He kissed it gently with his happy expression.
　　“Somewhere peaceful, where we can live happily. I really want to be with you without anyone destroying our peace. Especially now that…”
　　He stopped talking. We stared on each other’s eyes then he gazed down my stomach. I blinked as my heart pounded. I swallowed the lump in my throat then almost unconsciously, I touched my flat stomach. And I felt something inside me.
　　“L-Lennox…” I whispered in surprise then I looked at him again.
　　My lips are parted while I can’t still process. Am I thinking the right thing? He smiled and nodded.
　　“We should be quicker. I don’t want you to be stressed. I don’t want this situation and I would not let anyone take over the body of the mother of my child. I will never let that happen, my Sweet. We need a peaceful life because I am sure that your pregnancy will not be easy. I still need to do something to keep you beside me forever,” he emotionally said.
　　I smiled. A warm feeling touched our heart. Tear fell from my eye out of joy. I hugged him tightly. I want that life.
　　“Whatever it is, I’ll let you do it. If it means that I’ll be with you and our child, forever,” I whispered.
　　I can’t help but to be emotional. After all the problems and struggles that I experienced, I am still happy that I am going to have my own family.
　　I promise that my child will not experience what I had before. He would grow with loving parents and he will not live alone. He wouldn't need to be alone in fighting the cruel life. I will love him, in fact, I already love him and I am sure, Lennox feels the same.
　　“Shh, stop crying. Let’s go, my love,” he said then he wiped away my tears.
　　I nodded then I held on his arm. This must be the reason why I am too emotional. We resumed walking as we looked around.
　　“How did you know?” I asked and glanced at him.
　　We stopped in front of a beautiful cloak. He touched it then he picked it to let me wear it.
　　“I heard it. We had an emotional night that I failed to notice it. Now that everything is a bit better, I heard it clearly.” He put the hood on my head.
　　It is a dark green cloak with a very soft fabric. It almost reached my feet. Wearing cloak is popular here and it seems normal.
　　He also bought a dark blue cloak for him. He opened a white pouch and picked few big gold coins from it. The vendor accepted it then clasped her hand and bowed a bit. Lennox did the same before we proceed on walking.
　　“This is cute. I feel like I am one of the citizens here,” I enthusiastically said.
　　He chuckled then fixed the hood of my cloak. I pouted a bit.
　　“Not like that, I can’t see,” I complained when he almost covered the half of my face.
　　He never let my hand go. I really like the market. Some of the products are lying on the ground. Some have fabrics under them, like the vases and decorations to protect them from dirt. When the products are food, they have stall where they display it organized. Clothes are hanging on the thin steel, showcasing its quality and texture. The clothes here are different from the human world. Every woman wear long skirts with intricate designs and the men are wearing long pants.
　　Lennox bought fruits and breads. He also bought drinking water on vases made of clay. Even I could carry the food, he didn’t let me carry anything. After a while, we stopped on the side and we put all the things we bought on the table.
　　It is like a food court in the human world. A lot are eating and some are just resting. Lennox removed his hood so I did the same. He let me eat some bread since I feel like I am really hungry.
　　“You are that hungry, huh?” He teased me.
　　I blushed when I realized that I am eating in a fast manner. I rolled my eyes to him and I tried to slow down.
　　“I think our baby is developing that fast. The two of you are already sharing food,” he said smiling.
　　But it slowly faded like he realized something. He stared at me intently.
　　“What? Why?” I asked.
　　“We really need to move fast,” he said seriously. “Soon, our baby would start sucking your blood and eat your flesh near him.”
　　I stilled for a while. I almost forgot that my baby isn’t normal. He is not pure human but a half vampire. And vampire needs blood and since he is inside me, he will get it from me. He looked at me worriedly. I gave him a reassuring smile then I touched his cheeks lovingly.
　　“I am okay. I am sure our baby will not harm me that much. I don’t care if it is for him,” I said sincerely.
　　He eyed me seriously. I feel like I am melting on his stares. It might sound exaggerated but that is how I feel. His gray eyes are really hypnotizing.
　　He leaned forward to kiss me lightly on my lips then he rested his forehead on me when he pulled away. His cold breath is fanning my face. I closed my eyes and clasped our hands.
　　“You are so selfless, my Sweet. I love you so much,” he whispered then he hugged me. I rested my face on his chest.
　　“I love you, too.”
　　He let me rest for a while before we decided to leave. We are going to the train station. I asked him why he can’t just run like he always do but he said that we need to pass through legally on a barrier through the train. It has a strong spell that even teleportation can’t happen on it. They put that to make sure that no bad creature can enter.
　　“After the train, we will ride a horse. From there, I am just going to carry you then run towards the place where we can live… happily ever after.”
　　I chuckled then shook my head. “Oh my Lennox! I didn’t expect that you could say those words,” I laughed because of his last words.
　　He chuckled. “Sounds cheesy, yeah? But because of you, I am dreaming of that.”
　　I smiled wider then shook my head. This man is really something. Is he really the one that they are calling evil? I think not!
　　And speaking of that, I suddenly remembered Rage. I was about to feel down but I tried to push that thought away. We need to push through this day. I need to make sure that we will be happy just like what Rage wanted. I wouldn’t let his sacrifice go waste. And after that we are finally sure about the peace and security, we will give honor to him.
　　We stopped from walking when we heard screams. The creatures panicked then ran.
　　“Give way! Don’t block the way!”
　　My eyes widened when I saw the group of witches. Lennox cursed a lot then he let go all of the products that we bought. He carried me on his arms then started running fastly.
　　“They are here,” I whispered in fear.
　　“Damn it.”
