Sweet Aphrodite’s POV
　　I stared at them like they are some kind of interesting specimen. After crying and now I felt numb, I want to know everything. I want to be enlightened and this twin is the answer for all of my unanswered questions.
　　"So..." I combed my hair with my fingers and I stared at them. "I remember you called me, Auntie, Daniella. Care to explain it to me? I want to know everything," I commanded.

　　I am sitting on the bed and they are on the bedside, sitting on a long wooden chair. We are inside a beautiful hut.
　　They sighed and looked at each other. I chewed my lower lip as I waited for their answer. Everything is still painful. Everything that I learned yesterday, concerning the truth about Lennox manipulating my life, hurts damn much. Because I didn't expect that the man I love the most did that. He intentionally hurt and broke me. He destroyed the things that I worked hard for.
　　“Aunt Aster…” she murmured. I straightened my back when something flinched inside me after hearing that name. “It’s been a long time since I was able to utter that beautiful name.” She stared at me but she looks lost in her thoughts, remembering something melancholy. Then she blinked and smiled bitterly.
　　“Aster?” I uttered. Her twin brother beside her nodded.
　　Daniella sighed then she put her hands on her lap and started. “She is the youngest sister of Mom. She is a very beautiful maiden who attracted half of the man population in this world. Not just only because of her alluring beauty but also because of her kind heart. She’s really good and generous.”
　　I swallowed the lump in my throat and listened really well.

　　“Most of the men tried to court her, trying to get her attention but she didn’t like anyone of them. She’s not interested to love. Until one day, a pure-blooded vampire came. During those times, they are already rare. Only few of them are left because a lot are already mixed with other races. Just like us…” she said then pointed her brother. “We are mixed vampire and witch because our parents came from different races. That pure-blooded is a perfect man. Perfect face, a body to die for, and a very… very kind heart.”
　　Even she has not mentioned any name yet, I knew it in my heart who is she talking about. My eyes moistened with tears and the pain in my system intensified. I already miss him.
　　“That’s also rare. Usually, pure blooded vampires are evil. They are bad. But that man? He is perfect so it’s not a surprise when all the women here are willing to give up everything for him. Even our Mom had a crush on him that’s why Dad was jealous.” She laughed a bit.
　　“He is perfect! His eyes that are in the middle of blue and gray color were hypnotizing. He did not take any advantage to those women who are throwing themselves to him. He didn’t use them to satisfy his needs, and he never played with their feelings. He rejected them politely and the funny thing is, it drawn them more to him. And Aunt Aster was one of them.”

　　I inhaled sharply and I let her words sink in me. My heart hurts more for him. Hearing these things, it looks like he lost a lot. I am beginning to understand him more.
　　“Since Aunt Aster was used to men pleading for her she assumed hardly that it would be the same to that perfect man. But she was wrong and she couldn’t accept it. She went crazy when she learned that he doesn’t like her. Everyone was surprised by that truth. He turned her down. She lost her dignity when she begged for him and got rejected, Together with it, she lost her kindness because she’s fuckin' in love with that man. And what destroyed her even more was the fact that she found out that he is in love to a human.”
　　My brows furrowed. As the story goes on, it is getting complicated. I thought he just didn’t like Aster. But then, he was in love to a human?
　　“Aunt Aster berserk. She looked for that woman. She followed Dark on the human realm even it was prohibited but she didn’t care. Then she saw them. She saw Dark watching the beautiful woman in awe, from afar. It was a maiden, brushing her brown hair in front of the window. Her eyes are blue and her face is just so innocent and soft. She has a sweet smile and her name was Sweet Aphrodite. Perfect for a goddess face and her really sweet aura.”
　　My eyes widened. “What do you mean? What are you talking about?” I asked, confused, when I heard my name. I also have brown hair and blue eyes!
　　She patted my shoulder, telling me to calm down. I tried calming myself.
　　“You see, this story happened hundred of years ago. Hundred years ago before you. So hear me out, okay?”
　　I nodded as I squeezed my palm with my fingers, trying to calm myself even more.
　　“She envied that girl. She’s just a human, a mortal, and she had a beautiful perfect face. And she even had Dark’s love and attention. Aunt Aster knew that it was a pure and true love when Dark is admiring her silently, waiting for his perfect time. Jealousy, anger, and hatred ate my Aunt’s good heart. She succumbed to the madness and she killed her. She killed the human that Dark loved, thinking that if she’s gone, Dark’s attention will go to her. But the worst thing happened…”
　　She shook her head. “Everyone saw the wrath of the pure-blooded vampire that they didn’t expect that he had. He was mad. Everyone saw how wrecked and broken Dark was because of Sweet’s death. He hurt Aunt Aster that he almost killed her but he was stopped by the whole village. He was terrifyingly angry that we were forced to make our guards stronger because he kept on going back here to kill my Aunt.”
　　“Then after a long time, he calmed down a bit. Aunt tried to pursue him again but he loathed her. He insulted her and threw hateful words to the poor woman. Aunt Aster was not able to take all of it. She’s desperate and depressed. She was mad for the love that she can’t have from her very first love. She was one of the most powerful witches that time and out of anger and exhaustion, she cursed him. She split Dark into two individuals. She separated the goodness and evilness inside him because she knew that evil is innate to every one of us.”
　　“And he put Dark consciousness to the evil one. She knew that in the pure evil body, Dark would be miserable. She removed his heart, too, and that’s how it started. Because he’s left with nothing but darkness, he killed Aster without thinking twice. That is the reason why every witch are mad to him. He killed our precious Aster.”
　　“Rage, the good one, doesn’t know anything about the past. He was asleep for a very long time and Lennox hid him somewhere. He just woke up few years ago. And anytime from now, he might remember the past.”
　　I wiped away the tears that steamed down my cheeks. I pressed my lips together then I glared to them.
　　“Everything is Aster’s fault. All of those rooted from her!” I said in between gritting my teeth.
　　She put her index finger on my lips to silence me while her eyes are widely open.
　　“Don’t speak something against her! She’s well-respected and loved here.”
　　I eyed her sharply. “Do you think I care? And I am right! She started it. She killed the woman that Dark loved the most.”
　　I can’t imagine how hurt he was. He faced all of that alone. He lost the love of his life and no one understand him. All of them turned against him together with Aster. In the end, he’s the only evil for them and they disregarded the fact that Aster did something, too.
　　I shut my eyes tightly and let my tears flow down freely. That is the reason why he pleads so much not to leave him alone. All his life, he had no one. And he’s lonelier with the fact that he’s not whole because Rage was separated from him.
　　He did all those mistakes because of his desperation to keep me with him. And he thought those are the right things to do because nothing was left to him but the evilness which Aster caused. But if he’s all evil, how could he still love me that much?
　　I looked at them. “I’m going back to him. I just want to rest but now, I don’t need it anymore. I understand him more and we could work out our relationship even with his situation. I will never leave him alone.” We will find a way to have a better relationship despite the fact that he is the evil side.
　　I was about to stand but Daniel pulled me to sit again. Daniella faced me.
　　“Go on, Sweet. Go back to him and get hurt! He will kill you in a blink of an eye once he learned that Aunt’s soul reincarnation is inside you. She left a spell that she will be resurrected using someone’s body and that someone happened to be you!”
　　I felt like my world fell apart. My heart slowed down from beating.
　　“No… You’re lying,” I whispered.
　　She shook his head. “You have a witch’s seal, right? That’s the seal stopping Aster’s soul to take over but the right time is coming and the seal will be destroyed. She’ll own your body!”
　　I started crying like a child because of fear. “No! This can’t be!”
　　“Yes, it’s true. Remember how he loathes her that he’s angry to our whole race. And he won’t think twice to kill you once he learns that Aster can come back through you! He’s going to destroy you as soon as he can!”
　　“His first love…” I said out of nowhere while crying.
　　“You are the reincarnation of his first love. You are exactly that woman. Every detail of you is just exactly like her, even your soul. It is just that you live hundred years after her, with new mind and blank memories. Her mission was not fulfilled yet that’s why she got reincarnated and that is you,” Daniel said that broke his silence.
　　I covered my face with my palm. “I am confused. I don’t know what to think anymore…”
　　“You are the woman that was killed by Aster because you are Dark’s love and at the same time, you have Aster’s soul inside you. That’s it, understand that, Sweet Aphrodite.”
　　I thought I am already numb but I was wrong. The pain in my heart is intense. I can’t take this anymore.
　　I removed my hand and looked at the twin tiredly.
　　“I want to be with Lennox,” I whispered.
　　Daniella shook her head then she held my hand. “Don’t leave us again, Auntie, please…” she pleaded.
　　Memories flashed in my mind. A girl playing with two kids. And I realized that it was Aster with the twin in front of me. I shook my head and shoved away those memories.
　　“Daniella, please, I am not her. I have my own life and it is with Lennox. He’s waiting for me,” I murmured desperately.
　　I am already too tired. I just want to lay my head on his chest and feel his warm hug. I want to be with him. I don’t want this.
　　“No. I won’t let you leave us again. I am sorry about this…” Daniella said then they both vanished in the thin air.
　　My eyes widened. I quickly stood and went to the door. I tried opening it even the windows but I can’t. I noticed the pink violet transparent-ish thing around the room which is stopping me to escape.
　　“Daniel! Daniella!” I shouted as loud as I can.
　　I fell on the ground when they didn’t come. They caged me here. I clasped my hand together and closed my eyes.
　　“God, please help me. I want to go home. Please…”
　　And Lennox is my home.
