Sweet Aphrodite’s POV
　　I stopped from sweeping on the front yard when I heard a knock on the gate. I walked towards it then I slightly opened the small door in the side.
　　“How can I--- Daniella, Daniel?” I asked. I did not expect for it to be them.

　　They just stared at me intently. I eyed them sharply.
　　“What do you need from me?” I asked.
　　Daniella glanced on my back then asked, “Where is Dark?”
　　I just learned few days ago that Dark was the original name of Lennox and Rage when they were not separated yet.
　　My eyebrow shot up because of her question. I noticed that she’s not being her usual bitch self.
　　“He is not here. He did something important,” I informed them. “Why are you looking for him?”

　　Daniella nodded then she crossed her arms in front of her chest.
　　“That’s fine. He is not the reason why we are here. I want to say something to you…”
　　I stood straightly and I put the sweeper beside the gate. I stared at them.
　　“What is it?” I calmly asked.

　　She’s speaking nicely so I will remain calm.
　　“I want to warn you. Leave this mansion. Leave Dark now.”
　　My forehead creased and I can’t help but to grit my teeth in annoyance.
　　“Can you and your race stop bothering him? He’s been silent for a long time already, he wants a peaceful life. And why would I leave him? Stop bothering us!”
　　The movement of my chest was fast as I felt the anger taking over me. I gasped for air and I noticed that she looks unaffected.
　　“Just leave him. He is a manipulating cunning jerk and you would never be happy with him.”
　　My feelings intensified. I gritted my teeth and I glared at her.
　　“You are no one so you have no rights to dictate me. So leave and never show your face again!”
　　I thought she looked hurt and gloomy for few seconds but that is impossible. She is staring at me emotionlessly. Daniel stepped backward.
　　“Sweet, just listen to her first,” he gently said.
　　I shook my head. “Why would I? She caused a lot of trouble to me. Since the both of you came, you just caused bad things to ruin me. Leave!”
　　I was about to slam the gate close but Daniel put his palm against it to stop me. I rolled my eyes then turned my back to them. I am done with them.
　　“He manipulated your life!” My steps slowed down when I heard Daniel’s words. “He ruined everything. He’s the reason why you lost your job, why you were kicked out of your apartment, he caused the lost of your scholarship and even the destruction of the university that you loved! He did all of that. He manipulated your life because he’s fuckin’ obsessed to you!” I stopped from walking fully and I felt an explosion inside me. “We just want to help you and to save you because later on, because when he discovers the truth, he will not think twice to kill you!”
　　I froze on my spot. The pain immobilized me. I closed my eyes tightly then I pulled all the senses in me. When I opened my eyes then glanced to them, I showed a smirk.
　　“I didn’t know that you’re good in making up stories. You could be a writer Daniel and that would be something better to do than bothering me,” I said mockingly. “Leave and never show your faces every again!”
　　Daniella stepped forward then said, “Ask him, then, Ask him and believe him if he deny It while staring at your eyes. But if not, leave the mansion. Leave him. Because the time is coming and he would kill you once he learned that—“
　　“Daniella, stop it!” Daniel cut her off.
　　I frowned. “What is it?”
　　She just shook her head then they vanished in the thin air.
　　I bent my head down and gathered my strength. I sighed heavily.
　　I am going to prove them that Lennox can’t do that. He didn’t manipulate my life. He once manipulated my feelings but he stopped when he realized that it was wrong. And it didn’t take him a long time. He did not ruin my life because he knew how important those are to me. I trust him.
　　I forced myself not to overthink that why I busied myself in cleaning. I have nothing else to do in the mansion. They are ruining my peace of mind. They should never show themselves again.
　　“Lennox!” I greeted him with a kiss as soon as he arrived.
　　He smiled then he hugged me tightly. He kissed me on my forehead then to my lips.
　　He pressed my face on his chest. While I am cherishing his hug, I put my palm on my chest, feeling the beat of my heart. His heart. He really owns my heart literally and figuratively.
　　I am now enlightened why I am affected by Rage’s presence too. He’s literally Lennox’s other half.
　　We went to the dining room. He pulled a chair for me just beside him.
　　“How’s your day, my lovely Sweet?” he asked while he’s putting food on my plate.
　　I smiled at him. “It is fine but honestly, it is boring without you. So I just cleaned for the whole day.”
　　He chuckled after he pinched my nose. I pouted a bit.
　　“You are adorable. I am happy that your life is boring without me,” he said with a small smile on his lips.
　　We began eating in silence but a comfortable one. We are already in our dessert when I decided to ask the question I really anticipated.
　　“Lennox…” I nervously said but I tried to ease it by smiling.
　　“Hmm?” He looked at me.
　　His smile vanished when he saw my expression. I tried reaching for his hand and I squeezed it.
　　“You love me, right?” I asked that he quickly answered with a nod. I sighed. “You would never do anything intentional that you know would hurt me. Right? I am right,” I uttered, convincing the both of us.
　　His forehead creased and he looks more concerned now. “Why? Why, baby? Is there something wrong?”
　　I forced a smile again then I heaved a sigh.
　　“The twin went here.” His face turned serious and there is a hint of anger on them. I sighed again and I touched his cheek lovingly. “They said something but I know that all of that are lies.”
　　“What did they say?” he gritted his teeth.
　　I licked my lips while my heart is pounding. “They said that you manipulated my life. That you are the reason why I lost my job, scholarship, why I was kicked out from the apartment, and why the university was burned down. But I know it is not true. You are not that bad and you love me. You won’t intentionally hurt me…”
　　The smile in my lips vanished when I noticed that he turned paler. My heart pounded harder. He avoided my gaze that made me even more nervous.
　　“Lennox, you didn’t do that, right?”
　　I tried smiling while I am catching his gaze. He sighed then he looked at me with his troubled expression. Tears are already on the corner of my eyes when I realized something from his expression.
　　“Lennox, please deny it…” My voice broke. I squeezed the fingers on my lap. “You would never do that, right? You knew how important those are to me. I worked hard for all of that. You know that. Right?” I begged.
　　A lifeless laugh came out of my lips when I saw fear on his eyes. What does that mean, huh?
　　“I’m sorry…” he bowed his head down.
　　My eyes widened and my tears fell uncontrollably. I feel like my heart fell. I shook my head when I realized that his apology is a confirmation.
　　“No…” I kept denying it in my mind. “Why are you apologizing?”
　　He looks miserable now. I closed my eyes tightly and I wished that this is all just a dream.
　　I pulled my hand from him. No, this is not true.
　　“I am sorry for manipulating your life, my Sweet. I am so sorry…”
　　I tapped away his hand that touched my cheek. I looked at him, still hoping that he is joking. I am slowly breaking apart!
　　“Lennox, please…”
　　I can’t accept this.
　　“Yes, I am the reason of your losses. I was the reason why you were fired on your job, I am the reason why you’re forced out of the apartment, and I am the reason why you lost your scholarship. I burned down the University and I made sure that your records will be gone. I did all of that because I only want you for myself. I want you to be only mine. I don’t wanna see you with someone else. I don’t like it when you are talking to someone. I thought I should be the only one having your time and attention.”
　　I aggressively stood that the chair fell on the floor. He stood, too, towering over me.
　　“Those are complete bullshits, Lennox. I worked hard for those things and I lost them in snap just because of your selfishness?” I shouted at the top of my lungs. I started crying like a child.
　　“I am sorry…” He tried to touch me but I stepped backward, avoiding it. “Baby, please.”
　　“What are your other secrets? What else did you lie about? Don’t tell me that even your love is fake!” I said between my sobs.
　　He shook his head then he stepped toward me. I immediately pushed him. He seems weakening because he hit the table and it moved loudly.
　　I can’t see him clearly because of the tears on my eyes. The pain in my heart is just too much to handle. My body is shaking and all I could feel flowing inside me is the anger and pain.
　　“If you did all of that out of your love for me, then, this is what I am going to tell you. Your love is painful. You are hurting me in every way that you know! You love painfully and I hate it!”
　　He tried reaching for me but I immediately turned my back to him. I turned deaf for his cries and apology. I am too angry to care for him.
　　“I had enough. I am leaving you!” I shouted.
　　“Sweet, no, please baby!”
　　I ran away towards the living room but he appeared in front of me in a second. My heart hurt seeing him crying. I can’t take to see his miserable face and to hear his pleadings but I am too tired. He is hurting me so much. I need to leave. I need to love myself first because he took everything from me.
　　“I love you…” he murmured.
　　Before he could even touch me, the twin appeared beside me. His face darkened.
　　“You ruined us!” His voice thundered angrily.
　　He failed to get me from them when we vanished in the thin air even before he reached me.
　　I am not shock about what happened because of too much tiredness and pain that are in my system. The fact that the only man I ever love hurt me in every possible way he could. I broke down in front of the twin, I failed to control myself.
　　After letting out all my tears, I went numb. Suddenly, I can’t feel anymore. I have no energy to talk or even to decide.
　　“Let’s go to our real world, Auntie…” I heard Daniella said.
　　Then they dragged me towards the portal in front of us.
